Good Work/Great Job

Overall a good experience!

Very well

They worked on my computer and my husband's computer. My computer was dead and then I got another one. After getting the other one I had them come out and get me hooked to the Internet. They did a lot of work. If I still need something I'm able to contact them on my computer, and they are able to get into my computer and help me. That is a free service. They were excellent. Even some big companies could not perform this service. They were reasonably priced for all that they did. They fixed the wireless and set my husband and me up. They discovered that my computer was shot and recommended what to get instead. They set it up with something so that I could back up all of my files and left that with me. They then helped me with the transition to a brand-new computer. They are the first people I call. They are absolutely wonderful.

I had a problem with my laptop mouse pad due to spilling coffee on it. I took it to Doctor PC, where I've taken our laptops on several other occasions, to see if it could be fixed. John, who I think is the owner or at least manager, took one look at it and said, "I think it's still under warranty." Truth be told, I just assumed it was out of warranty, but he looked it up on the Dell website by s/n and found that I still had over a month on it. He recommended that I contact Dell to see if they would fix it under warranty service. I did, and within a week, my laptop was fully functional again. John could've opted to have me pay them to fix it, but he didn't. He didn't make any money on that job, but won a lifetime customer!

Fine. Dropped off the computer and 5 days later got the call it was ready. Took a little longer than I expected. Hooked computer back up at home and we were back to normal.

They were very up-front and honest about how much it was going to cost to fix my computer. They are very good at the type of services they provide. They got my computer repaired in a very timely fashion.

This was the second time for us to use this company. The repair man was a college kid but he was very knowledgeable. He would explain what he was doing.

I called Doctor PC, they sent their Technician Nikki on the same day I called them. She isolated the problem to a faulty Modem. Once I received the replacement Modem days later from the phone company, the Modem and Router software ran with error messages and I could not get the configuration that allowed the router to work. Doctor PC sent Nikki back out the same day and she fixed the configuration errors/issues within 30 minutes for no additional charges since this was related to my original service call.

I called Dr. PC to come out. They charge a flat fee of $99 no matter how long. They will come to your home for that flat fee. I ended up taking it in because they told me it probably wasn't software and would have to come in anyway. They fixed everything and it was within 12 hours. Flat $99 fee. They were very nice and did good work.
