The contract was handled very professionally and the crew was on time and completed the work as scheduled (2 days). We had some issues with transitional pieces not working properly and we were promised a resolution would be made. One of the workman came back on the second day after the install had been completed and fixed all the transistion work. We also reported a piece of tile in our bathroom had been broken and that was taken repaired today. So very happy with management and crew in making our home look beautiful.

The crew was professional, and worked hard . The crew did a awesome job laying the tile diagonally! I highly recommend this company.

It went very well. The team was very easy to work with. They were very considerate of my sister's home which was built in 1959. Dean lead a team that had to deal with a previous remodel that was not completed to code and was basically a mess. They even made us aware of work by another vendor that had not been completed properly (which we were able to get corrected). The were very nice and respectful to my sister and seemed to care that everything was done right. We were told that the job would take two weeks, but it actually took four weeks. This was primarily due to the extra work that was required to bring the room up to code and find some of the material required to match other items that were part of the original construction. It was worth the wait. They were great about making sure that we had all of the right materials We would definitely recommend the team from Designer Lifestyles and would use the again. Thanks Dean and team. Dean even explained things to me, as I assisted my sister from San Antonio Texas. I am going to let Dean star on my future HGTV redesign show :) .

A brilliant project to the point that other neighbors were so impressed they are inquiring about their floor issues.

The installation of the ledger stone panels was perfect. To our amazement, the work was completed in a single day. The crew arrived and wasted no time performing the installation. They constantly checked for proper leveling of the ledger stone panels and made expert cuts around receptacles as well as the fireplace opening. They took the time to match pieces to be sure that the proper leveling was maintained and that there would be no noticeable gaps between the panels. We are thrilled with the result.

These guys are great! From the estimate to job completion, they were friendly and professional. The project took 6 1/2 business days for around 1200 sq feet of work. The level of detail is really incredible. Our house is only 1 1/2 years old and the baseboards look better now than the original builder! Kenny and his crew were there early and worked hard throughout the day. I can't tell you how much I can recommend these guys, A+ for sure!

It took some time but i knew it was not easy. They did a good job. Jason helped us also Dean worked hard to the end, so far so good. Yes i recommend them. This is a good company and theit goal is to make customers happy.

We loved working with everyone. Jessica helped us select the perfect floors (vinyl plank) that fit with our lifestyle and decor. Dean and his crew explained the process, checked with us on everything that was done and was very neat. We would use them again without hesitation and highly recommend them.

They were very professional, courteous, and cleaned up very well, including hauling everything away You can tell the team was used to working together, and they worked the whole time. This is the 2nd time we used this company - first time was to lay hardwood and tile in my partner's home last year. When we called them post-flood from Hurricane Matthew, they were extremely responsive and even stayed open late, so we could go to the showroom to pick out product.

Overall we were very pleased with the work. While there were a couple small glitches, this company dealt with them in a very constructive and professional manner. It is very unusual to find a company with this kind of integrity. Also of particular note is their willingness to complete the job even when things were not going well. DL only provided some of the materials while we provided the faucet, countertop, sink, and shower valves. After they finished, the vanity drain kept leaking and DL came back out to my house 4 or 5 times to try to fix it. After a while, I determined through the process of elimination that the sink itself was malfunctioning. Jon knew that the issue was through no fault of heir own and they had no obligation to help out but had his guys install the new sink. Very outstanding customer service!!! Special thanks to Dean & Larry who did most of the work and Jordan who came out to try to fix the leak.

These folks provided excellent service, pricing and craftsmanship. The estimate was easy to understand and well laid out. I selected my tile with them and I provided the other fixtures. The crew (Joseph and Nathan) were always punctual, courteous and worked hard. The workmanship is very very good. The end product is exactly what I was hoping to achieve with the remodel. I interviewed many contractors before choosing Designer Lifestlyes.....Highest possible recommendation!

Designer Lifestyles delivered what we agreed to and performed the work in the exact time frame in which they said they would. They arrived on the designated day, the job took one day less than they said it might, and the final product looks great. I am not sure they are the very cheapest but they guaranteed their work and I trust that if there were an issue, they would resolve it. When the project was done, the crew cleaned up all of the floors and removed all of their trash. We really appreciate the very clear, itemized estimate that they provided. The estimate broke down each aspect of the work and we were able to select the items we wanted to do ourselves. It turned out that we moved all of the furniture and caulked the shoe mould so we did not pay for those items. When we were settling the final payment on the day that the work was completed, I explained about that we moved the furniture and the cost per l.f. for the shoe moulding should be reduced. The person I spoke with said he would check with Jon and follow up. He sent me a revised final bill the next day with the reductions due to the work we did. I was pleased that there was no hassle or push back on the final cost. They did exactly what they said they would do.

If anyone is currently thinking of flooring their own home, don't. I say this because anyone who has had a home built in North Florida can easily confirm what I'm about to say. Your home is 100 miles from perfect! With that in mind, It's extremely important to hire a contractor with the ability to manage these imperfections and install a quality floor. Designer Lifestyles managed this admirably. The great craftsmen from Designer Lifestyles performed an absolutely phenomenal job flooring my home. After quickly removing my old flooring, they were able to assess the imperfections in my foundation, seal cracks and level my entire floor. The end result was even better than I could have ever imagined. Moreover, they graciously managed to perform this task with my family remaining in the home. The staff were extremely professional and courteous and always available for updates and questions. Flooring your home is a huge undertaking and expense that should never be taken lightly. I certainly have no wish to floor my home again for a very long time, if not ever. So my wife and I are very happy that we chose the right people. A huge thanks to everyone involved who worked on my home.

After receiving two estimates, I was most impressed with Designer Lifestyles. They have an excellent sampling of products to choose from and a very attractive showroom. I scheduled an appointment to get an estimate and then to view flooring. They were prompt and very efficient in handling every step of the process from the beginning to the installation. They employ their installers which definitely makes a difference in the consistent quality of service. I really love my new floor and I would highly recommend this company.

We used Designer Lifestyles in the past to remodel our guest bath. They did an outstanding job which is why we contacted them for this project. They installed 38 square feet of natural stone tiles as a backsplash in our kitchen. The job required several tricky cuts and odd areas to tile. It took them the entire day during which they were always pleasant and professional. I had just put down a brand new kitchen floor days before and was very concerned about potential damage during the tiling project. They lined the floor with drop cloths and in the end the floor was fine. They came back the following Thursday to seal the tiles and finish mud coating the guest room back wall. He did an outstanding job and the wall is now paint ready. During the entire process they respectful of our home and cleaned up any mess they made. The backsplash is beautiful and we are very happy with their work. They kept in touch with me via email, which is my preferred method of contact. As I mentioned, we have used this company before and I can now add that we will definitely use them in the future if need be.

It went well. I could not have asked for better service. The owner was helpful. The installers were very careful. They were on time.

I have to say this project went extremely well. My wife an I was nervous about the possible disruption of normal daily routines which includes 3 dogs, 2 cats and a bird in the house. I met with Jon and went over the estimate so I had a better idea of what was going to happen and an actual timeline that was flexible. I was contacted several times by email the closer we got to the start of the project and also by the warehouse guy a few days prior to make sure I found all the stuff I agreed to supply. Day 1 of the project came and Dean and Mike showed up to our door about 8:30 a.m. Dean was the project lead and it is very obvious he takes this mission seriously as he is a very polite and respectful at all times(A real company guy). He ensures that your property is respected at all times and the proper care is being taken not to damage anything during the project. Project was estimated to take 5 days which it actually took about 7 1/2. There were a few setbacks that came up. They ran out of grout one day and an emergency came up at another job site which was supposed to be completed on a certain day. I think Dean and Mike were pulled off my job because when they were sent to the other site it was like the cavalry showing up to save the day. I found both guys to be amusing and reassuring during a few times where something or another came up which I refer to as a hiccup. I did perform several things during the overhaul so I could kind of help out and hopefully make the project go even smoother. I think if your wanting a bathroom make over I highly recommend contacting Designer LLC as they have to be one of the top companies in Jacksonville after reading other peoples reviews. I called 6 different companies and the difference between the other guy and these folks is significant. When we remodel our other bathroom I guarantee we will use this company again. We are still doing some odds and ends to finish things that I was more than capable of doing to save a little money and stay closer to my budget.

The servicepeople showed up promptly; wearing uniforms and behaved very professionally. The flooring to be removed had to be done carefully because it cut tightly around glass block trim in many areas. It looks so nice and they were great about cleaning up after themselves. We had to schedule 2-3 weeks ahead because they (Designer Lifestyles) stay so busy; but they were prompt and did the job in 2 days. We will definitely use them again for any flooring needs.

The team at Designer's lifestyle are so professional. I was so impressed with the initial email correspondence with them. The response time was prompt and the trailing emails were very detail each time a new revision was changed. After finalizing the final revision, my husband and I went to visit their showroom. We met with Jon and showed him a picture of our bathroom just to give him an idea of the color scheme we were looking for. He naturally just picked the right one and we loved it. In addition, we also purchased the accent and pebbles for the wall and floor. After laying it side by side on the floor, it was the perfect match. Although it was quite expensive, we wanted the best quality high end material. Afterall, you get what you pay for. Jordan and his partner, Joe started and completed the project. They were prompt on their arrival each day. At the end of the day, they always cleaned up nicely. Both worked hard and steady. They are professional and nice fellows to communicate with. Any questions or concerns we had, Jordan would addressed them. To keep a long story short, after completion of this project, the shower looks fabulous! I can't help but look at the shower each day, it's so beautiful ! The workmanship and skills they accomplished was excellent. It was a job "well done" ! !

Designer Lifestyles employees showed up promptly the first day, due to plumbing issues they could not proceed as I had to call our my plumber , following morning they showed up promptly again and encountered another old plumbing issue where my personal plumber had to come out again. By the third day into reno, the rest of the existing floor removed, they had to move an existing wall forward to cover old plumbing as I was getting a free standing vanity...by the 4th day the new tile floor installed, prepared all new drywall for painting....5th day new baseboards, new vanity, toilet and lighting installed..I am extremely pleased with the professionalism with this company, looking forward to using them again in the near future.

I wish I could give more than an A rating. Designer Lifestyles is a professional, respectful and extraordinarily helpful group of contractors that I would work with again in a heartbeat! I contacted them through Angie's List and they sent a representative to come and measure for tile in my entryway/kitchen and bathrooms. The jobs consisted of removal of existing tile, leveling, and installation of new tile. She gave a very accurate description of how work would progress and gave us the utmost confidence to move forward with them. We decided to go with purchasing tile through them as it would be guaranteed, not to mention they had a great selection of tiles. they were very helpful in the store and pointed us in the right direction for material we would want to use and also answered every question in super knowledgeable manner- none of the nonsense which you get with other places. After we settled on a tile, we then arranged a date to have them come and do work. Jordan was here on the first day to walk me through the process, explaining how it would work and the timeline. He explained everything, advised when I had questions and had me sign off on everything-so thorough, I couldn't have asked for anything better. They made amazing progress on day one- removing all tile. I work from home and they were fairly quiet for what was going on- which greatly surprised me because I have heard it can be quite the process. Jordan also made me aware that they had to level parts of my floor. He explained the best way to do this and ensured it would not prolong the job. There were a few things we had to address with the bill but we had already previously discussed that so it was of no surprise thanks to their expertise and raising these issues before onset of the job. The next two days passed quickly and without hiccups. As promised, they were in and out in 3 days! I was left with beautiful new floors that I am mildly obsessed with. They did a beautiful job and left everything so clean! I would have hardly noticed they were even here was how clean it was. I have been burned in the past with contractors when it actually comes down to getting the work done- that was not the case here! They were in and out in 3 days, super transparent with the whole process and so polite, courteous and clean! I cannot rave enough about how wonderful they were and give them my highest recommendations. I would definitely use again and again and again!
