They were very quick and it took them the amount of time they said they would. The owner was very professional. There was a problem when they were doing the work and they worked with me to get everything I needed for the insurance company so that they could provide more money to get that job done. They were honest, their price was reasonable, and I really liked the pictures of the work that they had done.

I was impressed with the quality of their work and their professionalism. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a contractor. All looks great. When it is time to remove the carpet and install hardwood floors throughout the rest of our house, DESIGNER LIFESTYLES LLC is the company I will hire.

This is my first experience working with a contractor for a home renovation. I was extremely pleased with the work Designer Lifestyles performed for us - we had both bathrooms in our house renovated. They understood my ideas and converted them into 2 great bathrooms. My master bath was pretty much a full gut which was a little scary for me but it turned out better than I imagined! Chris & Jon were very responsive to my questions and changes that we made along the way. The employees that came in to do the work were professional and did a great job - the tile work is great. We will be using them again for our kitchen renovation. Highly recommended!

The wood arrived two days late, no fault of Designer Lifestyles since the wood was ordered from ProSource Flooring. Designer Lifestyles still finished on time. Crew was professional, punctual, and very nice. The job was quality, on time and on budget.. Designer Lifestyles was flexible with the schedule and able to complete on time in spite of the flooring arriving late. My family will definitely use them in the future. The crew was great and I appreciated their attention to detail,

Jon & Chris provided impressive customer service. Their crew is top notch! All are professional, curtious, and very knowledgeable in their craft. In addition, I am very happy with the results of their labor = A+ I would definitely recommend them!

These people were great! I work for myself and at home being witness to every facet of this project. Being in the house during this project gave me first hand appreciation for what these guys are capable and what they endured. There were some problems removing the tile, which upset the schedule. They said the thin set was really holding fast. After 2 days of using a heavy duty machine to break up the tile, the floors had to be extensively leveled due to the roughness of the floor where the tile once was. This also upset the schedule as it took an extra day for the leveler to be dry. But these guys were so professional and diligent. Spending many more hours than they expected, they did it with smiles on their faces. By putting in the extra time each day, they were able to finish on schedule. They were so patient with me in designing the floor layout. We wanted to have some variety in the direction of the boards. Hence it took some careful measuring and figuring the precise layout. They were so completely responsive to any and all questions I had before, during and after the installation. From the initial proposal, product costs, to small detail fine tuning. A special call out to Aaron. He was awesome. Spending so much time getting everything just right. The stairs he personally installed, I feel, is the center piece to the whole project. They look great. To be honest, the whole crew were a blessing to work with. It takes a lot to impress me. They did.

For a company to care enough about its rating on Angie List to not only comment on Angie's list but also to come personally to our door must mean they are working hard to establish a reputation for professionalism, excellent work and good ethics. Although they did not work for us, the follow up on the lack of a return call is impressive.

They were very timely. They were knowledgeable about their products. They promised a bid at a certain time, they delivered at that time, and I thought it was a fair price. They have been very timely and tolerant about scheduling the job because I had to put off the job for a couple of weeks and that inconvenienced them but they were very accommodating. I am not sure how much the job is but I put $7000 down and that was little more than half I think. The price was medium. I chose them because when I sourced Angie’s List, they had excellent reviews and also their website was user friendly and when I called the various companies, they were the most accommodating. They worked around my schedule and they were really quick, they didn’t put me off, and they came right out. The workers showed up on the wrong date, it was a misunderstanding but they were all very polite.

I used Them last July. They did a fabulous job. They put all the hardwood floors, glass tile, pocket door and did an absolutely beautiful work. They didn't supply the wood floor, They installed them but they didn't do the demo. Their responsiveness was an "A" because they called me back that day to get everything. He came in after 2 days later to give me an estimate and everything.

Do you ever have one of those moments where you long for the "good ole days" when people were honest and fair? Well, I had an experience today that was just that. I made bone-head move and bought tile that was defective (didn't realize it). When the two guys (did I mention how nice and courteous they were?) came and started installing tile, they noticed something wasn't right. They alerted me right away and we collectively decided it should come down. The two guys not only took it down; reinstalled the light/electrical plates and clean up; but they and Jon, the owner, would not take a dime from me. Did I mention that these guys drove in from OP and Callahan? This company has my business for life! I can't wait to get the right tile and have them come back to do the job.

I originally requested a quote from Designer Lifestyles over a year ago. Although I wasn't able to have the work done at the time, they were still able to obtain the laminate flooring I had chosen, which closely matches existing laminate in the house. The whole installation process went smoothly. The crew were professional and courteous. They cleaned up the work areas very well and finished everything on time. The master bedroom closets had built in shelving which they worked around beautifully. I am completely impressed with the quality of the service and work performed.

Members of their team arrived in the morning and worked hard to install a beautiful tile backsplash for us. They were courteous and professional throughout the process. They tackled a difficult area of the kitchen--a narrow column going to the ceiling that wasn't completely plumb--in a careful way, and the result is lovely. We are very pleased with our new backsplash and Designer Lifestyle's services. Next month, they'll be installing hardwood flooring for us, and we look forward to working with them again.

Jon came to my home to take measurements and show me a selection of laminate flooring. He was very helpful in telling me the pros and cons of all the options available to me. The estimate was a bit higher than I had anticipated, but close enough to my budget that I selected them for the job. I prefer to "shop local" even if it costs a little more. There was a bit of a mix up regarding the day of the install. Because I was having some furniture delivered on what was supposed to be the day following the install. As it turned out, the install and the furniture delivery were on the same day - a little stressful for me. But, Chris told me to have the furniture delivered to my garage and his guys would take care of placing it in my house. They did a wonderful job of carefully unwrapping the furniture and placing it exactly where I wanted!!! They arrived right on time and were very understanding of my anxiety. There were very polite and pleasant each time I stopped by to check on the progress. They said they could do the job in one day - and they did. The last man left at 9:10 that night with the job complete and cleaned up. I was amazed - and very happy! Since the install I have had one loose transition that they promptly fixed. Overall - I am a very happy customer and would be glad to recommend them to anyone.

Chris and Jon were very responsive and provided excellent customer service from the estimate to tirelessly helping me search for flooring that was the best match we could find to existing flooring. They not only provided more assistance in searching for wood that would go well with the existing wood flooring in the rest of the condo than any other flooring company that I obtained estimates from, they also provided the best quote. The crew arrived on time, worked the entire time they were there, were very professional and cleaned up at the end of the job. I would definitely recommend Designer Lifestyles!!!

Their service and professionalism was good but the quote they gave me was way higher than somebody else so I did not use them. They were punctual.

The work which Designer Lifestyles did for my wife and me was absolutely top notch. We had planned for several years to have our master bathroom remodeled, and when the time came to do so, we decided to get estimates from more than one company. Designer Lifestyles came out at the exact scheduled time that they said they would be there, took the measurements they needed, made a very helpful suggestion, or two, and sent me the estimate through e-mail within 24 hours. My wife and I had planned to get estimates from more than once company, so we called Designer Lifestyles and one other company as well. The second company also came out, took the measurements, and said that they would e-mail us their estimate. To this day we have never heard from them again, despite follow up calls requesting their prices. Designer Lifestyles believed that they would be able to complete the work in three days, but due to some unforeseen complications, it did take five days to finish. However, the costs of the work stayed exactly according to the written estimate. There was never any question, or discussion about the costs changing; they just did what they had to do to finish the work, and the work that they did was incredible. If you are looking for a company to remodel your home, you owe it to yourself to take a look at Designer Lifestyles. They are professionals who do incredible work. They turned my standard master bathroom that came with the home we built into a palace fit for a king. Recently my wife and I spent 8 days vacationing in Hawaii. I can honestly say that the best part of coming home was coming home to our new bathroom, thanks to the incredible work done by Designer Lifestyles. They are truly artists.

Their price was the best of the three estimates I received. They were very professional, on time, and responsive to all my questions. I would definitely use this company again. There was absolutely nothing negative about the experience. Very, very professional

I called and spoke to Jon to schedule an appt. for an estimate. He called to let me know he was running late (so appreciated). When he arrived, I showed him what I would like to have done and listened to his suggestions. He was very knowledgable and offered several different options for us. He was much more flexable and reasonalble than other contractors we had come before. We recieved his written estimate and scheduled the work. The day before the work was to begin, he called and said they were running behind on a previous job but would be there the next day (also appreciated). His crew showed up as promised on time and were efficient and ready to work. They also did a great job and cleaned up pretty well when they finished. Would use this company again for sure.

I felt they were very prompt. They did exactly what they said they would do and they came when they said they would come. They got in and got out and cleaned up. They asked if there was any problems or if we had any questions about the work. They came dressed professional, which I think was nice. The whole thing worked well. I would consider using them again.

I am very happy with the results of this project.

Coordination with Jon regarding my need for tile installation went real well. Jon followed up as he said he would - and showed up on time for the day of the install. He came in and surveyed the area for install, he asked me questions about how I would like things done in certain spots, and when his crew showed up 15 minutes later, he reviewed our discussion with them. The crew was a real nice group of guys (4 of them) and they got right to work. They also helped move some heavy furniture and applicances that we were unable to move by ourselves. They worked until after it got dark to make sure they finished putting down the tile. They showed up on time the following morning to grout the tile and address any clean-up. I've had 2 other areas of floor work done in the past 2 years by other contractors, but wish I had been on Angie's List back then and found Jon and his crew for that as I'm sure the results would have been better. Jon and his team do great work - felt comfortable the whole time they were working in my house - and we're very happy with the tile install.

The first part was a bit easier, I packed up the stuff in my furniture and the workers came in and moved all the furniture out either to the sunporch or the car port. when I came home from work they had the first half demo and the tile partially installed. they had a portion that I could walk on to get the kitchen and the bedroom. the next day it was done, the grout was in all the furniture in place and I was ready to unpack. the second portion 2 months later went just as smoothly. they picked up the tile and were here at 7:30 to start. I had moved most of the furniture myself to save a few dollars and a little time. It was almost finished when I came home from work that evening, and when I came home the next day they were finished, all was clean and they were waiting for me to get there to pay them. suggestions, be sure to clean behind and under furniture that has not been moved in a while. It can me really dirty, especially if you have animals. And let them move the furniture unless you have a partner to help you move it. It is hard to move stuff alone.

From start to finish: This company was professional and very competent! Phone calls were answered promptly, messages were left to confirm appointments. workers came with all the tools and equipment they needed. Obviously the company trains and supervises all the technicians very well. they were polite, respectful, professional and just plain very very good at what they do! Work was performed quickly, the repair work done and all baseboard molding was reinstalled neatly, and the workspace was cleaned up---even the sawdust from the power saw in our yard! Jon explained what work would be done, the measurements that would be taken to insure the floor was dry before the new flooring was installed, and finally, how to care for the new floor. I will definitely use Designer Lifestyles LLC anytime I need floor installation or repair!

Removed carpeting and old tile in 2000 sq ft house. Tile was so old it pulverized to dust. A big tile remover machine had to be brought in. The tile had to be removed because it was cracked. Laminate was installed. they found laminate that would stand up to dog nails. It definitely has done that! My dogs are not small ones. I had had a a toilet turned off because it leaked. One of the workman turned it on. It leaked into the next room. All of the internal workings of that toilet were replaced at no cost to me. Because of the tile situation, the removal and installation took a little longer than originally planned. They did an excellent job, were punctual, honest and professional.
