I reached out to Jon and Chris after reading such positive reviews here on Angie's list. From the start they were extremely responsive and flexible to my schedule. Jon, Chris and Steve made the planning and selection of materials very smooth and worry free. We have originally scheduled this job for today (17 November) just in case closing was delayed but Chris asked me to call once we closed to confirm. Once I did that, they immediately worked our project in for the 11th so that we could get this completed sooner. Once the team ripped out carpeting we realized that none of the concrete below was level so there was a delay of two days as they worked on that first. Finished floors are beautiful and the house looks like they always had them in! Thanks for such a great experience!

Designer Lifestyles was great! They quoted me $500 over the phone to replace ceramic tile in the foyer measuring approximately 6'x6'. I received the same quote from other providers, but chose them based on their customer service and quick response time. I supplied the tile and gout. They arrived on time and were extremely professional. They did a fabulous job. I highly recommend.

Everyone was courteous and cleaned up after themselves. It was a two day job and they even stayed for almost 12 hours on a Saturday to ensure the job got done.

They did a really great job and they did it in less then a week, which I found to be very efficient.

My wife and I couldn't be happier with their work. From the first communication, Jon and Chris have been nothing but responsive, their on site workers were courteous and professional. I would get responses back either same day or first thing the next morning by phone and/or email. They got to our house usually around 7:30 AM and worked steadily until about 5PM. All told, they were finished in about 5 days. Granted, my kitchen is small, but still that is pretty incredible. I highly recommend them for flooring and counter work, and already am thinking of a few other projects we might call them back for.

With us, communication is the first step to success. From the moment we contacted Jon at Designer Lifestyles, LLC, they were prompt about returning calls, scheduling and showing up promptly when they say they would. Their estimate was spot on, with the exception that once the carpeting was removed, the concrete floors were not level and needed to be leveled. However, this was clearly explained to us about the element of the unknown and costs involved when the project was reviewed and the bid was prepared. There were several options that were offered us for leveling the concrete. Their teams were timely, efficient, professional and courteous throughout the process. Their team worked tirelessly to make sure the job was done on time and as promised. The flooring is beautiful and the fireplace looks like a brand new addition to our home. We love it! I will also mention that the estimate received from Designer Lifestyles was less than half of that we had received from a different party that had done some kitchen remodeling for us that we were not pleased with the final finish of their work. Designer Lifestyles did a lot more for us, and took great effort to make sure even the smallest of finishes were taken care of! Thank you, Jon, Chris and crew.....!!!

Designer Lifestyles is a very professional company with an excellent staff of workmen. My wife and I lived in the house throughout the remodel. The workmen tried very hard at keeping the mess to a minimum, particularly during the demolition phase of the remodel. They were careful with furnishings and kept everything covered during workdays. At the end of the workday they cleaned up as thoroughly as possible and left the few living spaces available to us in decent order. They're work is top notch, any issues we had were addressed quickly and professionally. They had no problem with add ons or changes. We went to their store to purchase the tile and flooring. The personalized attention we got while deciding tile size colors, etc.made any difference in price well worth it. The same goes for the laminate flooring. I would use this company again and highly recommend them.

I got two bids and both were within dollars of each other. However, Designer Lifestyle detailed out all work that would be done. They called the day before to confirm the time and called the day of 30 minutes before arrival to make sure everthing was stilll good. They also asked if I had the paint needed for the 1/4 round toe molding which I need to run out and get. They had 3 workers on the job. They were all courtious and made sure they protected the house and property where they were working. One of the workers cut his finger near the end of the job and had to be taken by one of the others to get medical attention. The remaining worker stayed to finish and worked until 8:00 PM to finish and clean up. I plan to use this company for some additional work in the furture.

It went very well. The work was done efficiently, professionally and with maximium quality. We resonded to a Designer Lifestyles add in our local business paper. It advertised a 5% discount on labor cost. Designer Life Styles sent a Business Owner to conduct an inspection, take measurements and provide an estimate. I went to the store to select the wood style and product. Designer Lifestyles assisted us with completing a financing application that included no interest if paid within 12 months. We were approved within a day and the work was scheduled. All that was swift and efficient. The first crew that came out tore out the carpet and prepped the flooring. We had some 200 Sq.Ft. of space to cover. The Lead person advised me of a couple of issues with the current flooring that may impact the quality of their work and made recommendations. Our three bedrooms door trim prieces were cut too short for wood installment, understanding there was carpet there befor so it was not noticeable but would be very noticeable with wood installation. There was also a couple of warped stair planks that could cause a problem but he recommended that he could seal those areas with a hard substance sealer that would even out the stair piece and provide maximum support, even support for the intalled wood. We agreed to have them replace the bedroom door trim and the sealant to provide and even surface. The additonal work took another day or so and an additional cost of $600. Total now was $4,944 and change. The Designer Styles work Team was professional and efficient throughout the project. Although I was there the first day I did not need to be there the remaining two days. We love it!! We are considering Design Styles for a re-modeling of our master bathroom. I was impressed with their efficiency, professionalism and quality focus.

Quick response to request for quote. Always on time when appointments were scheduled. Very quick to alter quote when requested to make changes. Allowed us to to make good unrushed decisions. When work was scheduled crew showed up on time and coordinated start times every day. This was a big project that turned out beautiful. We are very happy with our new floors. Everyone from owners to workers were very professional, respectful and hard working.

We can't say enough about our experience with Designer Lifestyles! They have maintained the highest levels of professionalism, quality workmanship, courtesy, punctuality, and a commitment to excellence throughout our extensive project. I don't think they know this, but we did get a second bid on the project before signing with Designer Lifestyles. The second bid was with a highly recommended company, but was substantially ($6,000.00) more than Designer's bid for the same work and materials...so we went with Designer Lifestyles and they not only met but exceeded all of our expectations! In the initial planning stages, Jon was very helpful with suggestions and ideas that demonstrated a real knowledge of the quality, durability, and maintenance requirements for the products and materials we were considering. And they did everything they said they would do and the quality of their work is OUTSTANDING! Joe and Dean were crew chiefs and were great! They were patient with all of our questions, they kept their crews moving and were always prepared with the tools and materials needed for the day, and everyone we met was so polite and friendly. They felt like family and were a pleasure to work with.We were so impressed with their work, that we asked them to install 5 in. molding in the hallway, dining room, living room, and kitchen. Needless to say, it looks beautiful! They say they don't want their name to go on anything that isn't done right and they go to great lengths to make sure everything is perfect and the customer is completely satisfied....WE ARE! And lastly, they GUARANTEE their work. And they mean it. We had an issue with the shower and tub spout in our guest bath. We contacted Moen and they were nice about sending replacement parts, but I felt we were getting the runaround when replacement parts didn't fix the problem and they couldn't seem to help us. We called Designer Lifestyles and Jordan came out and took everything apart to find the reason for the problem. They really could have said it was our problem since it dealt with items we were responsible for in the contract, but they didn't. Jordan was so nice and determined to figure out a solution! Jordan called Moen and confirmed Designer Lifestyles had already exceeded all the requisites Moen said were necessary in the original installation, but his persistence with them finally got results that I don't think we could have gotten. Thank You Designer Lifestyles....You are the BEST! We recommend them without reservation and will be calling them in the future for any type of home repair or remodel.

This was our first "remodel". I basically knew what I wanted, but really did not know anything about the process. Chris and John coordinated the remodel and were extremely patient, helpful, courteous, and accommodating. They were both only a phone call away when I had questions. The work started on Monday, July 28th with the demo. They were on time every day. Joe, Larry, and Robbie were wonderful. They took great care to minimize the impact of the demolition on the rest of the home. I have worked some with sheetrock and was expecting a mess. They laid out drop cloths and continually vacuumed and cleaned up the debris. They cleaned every day before they left. The job was completed on Saturday. It would have been done by Thursday had not I decided on some last minute changes which required more tile to be ordered. Joe was fantastic. He had some great ideas which I loved and incorporated into the plan. One such idea was to build a large niche instead of two. I didn't even realize they could do that. He built a custom sized niche which would accommodate large shampoo and conditioner bottles with pumps. He was very meticulous and the ultimate result is a beautiful remodel. When installer from Arizona Shower came to measure the shower for the doors, he commented on the excellent tile work. We are thrilled with the results and. when it comes time to remodel the master bath, we will definitely call DesignerLifestyles to do it. 11/13/2014: Arizona completes install of shower door - will now post photo of completed bathroom.

It went very well. Removal/installation was completed on time with minimal disruption. Subcontractor recommended did excellent work also. One return visit was accomplished on time with excellent results.

The job went well; in the end everything looks good. There was some misunderstandings early on, but we were able to work through it. There were some extra costs, such as needing a leveling compound for the hardwood and a rubber membrane for the tile that were not brought up in the beginning (I do understand that this does happen in any job, but this ended up adding about 10% to the overall cost). They also damaged our stairs (a metal tool fell from the upstairs and put a big gash in one of the oak treads). The quick fix (some wood putty) is very noticeable and not the solution I would have hoped for.

It went really well. We needed the job finished quickly due to an illness in the family. I thought that it would take at least 2 days, they finished in one. The job was done very professionally and we appreciate the extra effort.

We found Designer Lifestyles on Angie's List and were immediately very impressed with the customer service. Jon was quick to reply to emails and phone calls with answers to all of our questions and we had a lot of them during the process. My husband and I worked with them, choosing the materials and explaining exactly what we wanted. They came to our home, laid protective cloths everywhere and kept the bathroom door shut to keep the dust from covering the house. They were kind to my dog and made sure to keep the doors to the outside closed. The end result of the project is amazing! The tile and tub look fantastic. We bought a larger soaker jet tub and Joseph knew exactly how to set it up and was meticulous about the details of the work. If there were any questions, they stopped the work and asked us how to proceed. I can't say enough good things about this company.

We had used Designer Lifestyles in September 2013 to renovate our master bathroom shower, and having been completely satisfied with that work, we called Jon again for a quote on this second job. He came to our home within two days (at the time we requested) and we showed him a picture online of what we wanted our living room to look like. He was onboard immediately and we discussed details and materials. Thirty minutes later, we had a plan and a price range. The quote was emailed within 48 hours. We arranged for a week of work to take place three weeks later. My goal was that the final product would look identical to the picture online. Everytime they had a question, we went back to the picture. They were on time everyday and were done by 5pm and that included cleanup time. The project was finished within the five days. They even reconnected the TV cords each night. The house was left just the way it looked when they arrived each day. The popcorn was removed from the ceilings the last two days. They covered everything in plastic and worked efficiently to make sure they were perfect and ready for us to paint. The finished product has brought our house forward almost 30 years. Having the TV on a swivel and connected to the wall allows us to watch shows from several rooms perfectly. They created a simple way to reach the wires in the wall in case there are problems and the bookcases are perfect for storing books and family frames. After two projects with this company, I think I will call them my contractors. They're the best!

The team was very professional and polite during the entire process. Great care was given to safety and the cleanliness of the job every step along the way. The guys did a tremendous amount of work and were very skilled. What impressed me the most was the attention to detail as the team installed the new floors. Every consideration was made to ensure stellar results! The materials were of high quality, which matched the high quality of work and skill that was performed to do the job. I would highly recommend using this team for any flooring needs!! I will certainly use them again in the future should the need arise.

They came out, measured and talked to me about what I wanted. They emailed me a detailed estimate excluding materials then followed up with a phone call. I then went to their showroom and picked out tile tile I wanted, bringing two samples home to make my final decision. I didn't even have to take the tile back to them, they came by the house and picked it up. I was pleased that they didn't try to talk me into really expensive tile or borders that I didn't need. When I told them my final choice on tile they followed up with another written detailed estimate and a phone call. Although the cost was more than I had thought it would be it was less than the other estimate I got and the mirror work was the same as two other estimates I got. They started the work on the day designated but had to come back one extra morning to finish the last details. Their work crew was very professional and the man that did the demolition of the old shower was especially careful and neat, hanging plastic over the bathroom doorway to contain dust in that room. Someone came by every day to check on the progress and a third person was brought in o the final day to help keep things on schedule. They also offered to raise the shower head to accommodate my husband without any additional charge. The tile installer sought my opinion on how I wanted the tile laid and the placement of shelves etc. The shower looks great and we are just waiting on the glass company to receive and install the glass.

FANTASTIC WORK! Before we found Designer Lifestyles LLC our bathroom was a disaster... now it is beautiful! We had our bathtub/shower area tiled with 24"x24" porcelain tile to the ceiling, installed 18"x18" floor tile extending it into the closet area and added a rain shower. If you need tile work done, ask for Ty! All the guys did a great job but Ty gave a meticulous attention to detail. Also, if you need orange peel matched, ask for Jordan. The professional who came out to take measurements for our glass door install said the workmanship on the remodel is outstanding. Great company. A couple of miscommunications but we were able to work through those just fine. We highly recommend Designer Lifestyles LLC !

Designer Lifestyles exceeded all our expectations .... very quick to answer calls/emails, right on time every day, and great workmanship. The guys were all most professional and friendly. We were very impressed with how they cleaned up the work area before leaving the job each evening. The minor punch list items we had were all addressed in a timely manner. It's great to see a family owned local business hit it out of the park - well done in every aspect! Will definitely hire for the next job we have!

We are so pleased with the project that we have requested a quote for our family room and a bedroom. We are looking forward to working with the team once again and would highly recommend Designer Lifestyles for any tile or flooring project. Oh and I should mention we had ten days from start to finish, Designer Lifestyle finished in 5 and that was from estimate, to choosing, ordering and receiving the tile to the completed project. I enjoyed their company so much I hated to see them go.

I supplied the tile. They promised me they were experienced and knew how to lay wood plank tile. I was very upfront about wanting a 3/16th grout line. They assured me they could do it. They were punctual and courteous. They worked very hard and were respectful and tried to please. However, they really didn't have the patience or experience to do it properly. Two months after, there are many, many noticeable ridges over all floors! I'm sure they do a great job laying regular tile with wider grout lines, carpet, etc. But if you are using wood plank tile, I would not use them.

We did not select this provider, but they were perfectly prompt with both the appointment and estimate. Many contractors are so unpredictable, but these guys were 100% professional. It was a hard choice between this company and the one we selected.
