Great job!
Description of Work: We had our kitchen, dining room, and breakfast nook flooring replaced. We had laminate flooring that came with the home and started noticing cracks in the foundation under the laminate going throughout the house. Tom and his team were fantastic! They releveled the areas that needed it and repaired the cracks. We put down a vynal wood look product that looks awesome. Great job! Thank you.

Description of Work: I had several renovation projects and they sent a sales person out not a handyman. Their estimate for wood laminate install was thousands over other estimates I received. Additionally, their advertisement mentions fireplace... she said they don't remove them, which is what I wanted. If you are average person you cannot afford to hire these folks.

Designer Lifestyles is a team of very highly trained professionals, we have been in business for 10 years, and have a staff of 24+ personnel, which stands behind the quality & pricing of all our work. Unfortunately we are not able to compete with 2 men and a pick-up truck, but I promise you that we are always there to satisfy our customers. Out of 126 reviews on our company, 96 of which being "A" ratings, we have never had this type of rating from any customer in which we never performed any work for. We understand that we cannot please everyone all the time, but it does concern us when potential customers post a review such as this, especially when we conducted no work for other customers to relate with. Most customers who feel that a contractor's pricing is too high for their specific budget move onto a lower cost contractor which fits into their budget. The budget you gave us initially to work within was $8,000.00, and our estimate total to you was $3,885.45. Our sales person is also an installer and is very knowledgeable in all her areas of expertise. Your request to tear down a brick fireplace was well outside of our scope of work and skill set, and she made that very clear. We do remove and replace tile fireplaces faces all the time, but nowhere will you find any advertising that we tear down brick fireplaces. I am very sorry for any misunderstandings, and hope you find the right contractor who's pricing & quality are both acceptable to you. If you find out that the contractor you select is not providing the quality or customer service standard that you deserve or expect, please feel free to contact us again?

Description of Work: Tile on bathroom floors and showers. Laminate flooring throughout house. Kitchen counter tops/backsplash and some painting. Overall the work was fine but not all the workers/job foreman were as professional as I would have preferred. Although the daily clean up was done it could have been better. My experience with renovations is minimal so their cleanup policy could have been standard. In my opinion they seems to only correct things if they were brought up to them. The biggest thing was the furniture moving and replacing. Much attention was brought up by U.S. as to the amount we had but their acknowledgement of it came only when the final bill was presented. They did however make an adjustment to the bill. When talking about painting, the homeowner should not take for granted that the way they would prep for painting is the way they prep for painting. No question is to silly. Overall I am happy with the outcome. I love my house now. I would use them again and this experience has made me better equipped and prepared for any future renovations. On a side note the owner that we dealt with was very personable and willing to make any corrections that we felt were necessary. We got a lot of work done for the money and in a short length of time. So yes, I would use them again.

Description of Work: Pulled up and disposed carpet in 4 bedrooms, repaired crackers in cement and installed 840 sq. ft. of hand scraped hardwood flooring. | |Everyone on the site were super professional, courteous, and very hardworking. They worked diligently from when they arrived to when the left. They completed the project in two days and we were amazed with that time frame. Other projects as large as this one has taken other contractors several weeks to complete. The project was seamless from start to end from the initial contact to the follow up with DESIGNER LIFESTYLES. We would highly recommend them and would definitely use them with any future projects.
