Description of Work: Richard arrived promptly, put on overshoes, and spread plastic throughout the house for the machine he had to use. Very professional and solved the problem.

Description of Work: Our washing machine was backing up into our utility sink and kitchen sink. Called David Gray on Mothers Day Sunday requesting service. Within 15 minutes of my call to the answering service, Jamie returned my call. He had one job ahead of me and gave me a call when he was within 30 minutes of arrival. From first call to arrival was about 2 hours. Jamie also explained that it would be an overtime rate of $171 for the first hour. Upon arrival Jamie reviewed the problem and decided to snake the drain from the utility sink (farthest point from the street I'm the system). It took a hour once he was here, and included running both sinks at full volume and the washing machine draining before he considered his job done. Jami did an upstanding job for us and I would highly recommend their services.

Description of Work: Excellent service. Fast, efficient. He worked to save me money and to not have to fix my slab leak by drilling through my new floors. I was SO happy with the work. In general I have had terrible luck with plumbers, but not with David Gray. I was pleasantly surprised, and will use them from now on as my plumber.

Description of Work: I just needed an estimate and David Gray's office told me that they get to these when they can and obviously they couldn't because they didn't. I would never use them for anything and I will tell everybody I can about my bad experience.

Description of Work: David Gray Plumbing installed a faucet at my leased building with out any prior authorization from me. They unclogged a pipe yesterday at my request and I authorized them to put amount on my credit card. Today tenant called THEM directly with an unrelated problem. David Gray Plumbing proceeded to repair and attempt to bill me without notifying or requesting prior approvaI When I called David Gray, their response was "once used their policy is to automatically bill landlord for any future requests from tenant UNLESS owner SPECIFICALLY tells them not to do this. Their policy is to repair and bill landlord without obtaining any prior authorization!

Description of Work: we have a business so they replaced all the faucets a few years ago and they were great! several times other lousy plumbers replaced toilet plunger and never repaired it. This company took the leftovers and fixed it. We are very proud of David Grays Co succeeding!

Description of Work: I wanted to install a "AO Smith Hybrid Electric" water heater. There were only a few companies in town that the manufacturer certified. I spoke to most of them and these guys were the only ones that I thought real understood the technology and demonstrated experience with installations. There were a few minor surprises (it's big and takes up a lot of room), but I have no complaints with the work. I am seeing the savings on my electric bill that the manufacture claims.

Description of Work: The first time I used this company was the beginning of December. The bathroom needed to be inspected for a leak. There was no leak and while I was talking to the plumber I asked about him installing a facuet we had purchased because we had difficulty taking out the old one. He said he could take a look at things, he checked things out and said he could install the facuet for me now if i wanted him too. He did a great job snd once cleaned up after installation and was very professional. The next week our garbage disposal stopped working. Again they came out same day I called and he was able to replace it with an even better garbage disposal and once again cleaned up everything after. Great company, fast professional service, fair prices.

Description of Work: Had a leak from toilet tank and the water cutoff underneath would not shut off either. Came same day I called and gave me a time window (between 2 and 5 ] Said they would call 30 min. ahead and they did. Very pleasant and knew just what to do. They are going to be my new plumber from now on!!

Description of Work: I am putting in a new master bath and called David Gray plumbing for an estimate to put in new plumbing fixtures. I spoke to the receptionist and she put me in a voicemail for someone to call me back. I left a message and explained what I wanted to do. I waited 5 days and I never received a call back. I called another company and they helped me right away. I will never deal with David Gray again. They couldn't be bothered to speak with me.

Description of Work: I had a clog that stopped up the laundry drain that I had tried to unclog with drain cleaner and snaked it to the full length of my snake but couldn't get it unclogged. The plumber worked on it for hours with his big commercial motorized snake including hauling the heavy snake on a ladder up on the roof and snaking a vent but with no initial success. He ran it out 90 feet into the pipes from the roof vent and we tried the clean out at the septic tank but to no available. We finally figured that there was a second septic tank just for the laundry and kitchen water and finally found the clean out for it and were able to unclog it then. I did not know that the house had a second septic tank and the plumber was persistent and figured it out after going through all the normal procedures. I think this is a good outfit.

Description of Work: Cleaned kitchen sink clog. Sink is a double one with a garbage disposal and he had to go through the roof piping to unclog it. The job took 3 hours, but was done professionally and ultimately the drain was cleared. Overall we were happy with the results, but it just seemed to take too long to do. That may be because we recently had a slab leak and had to reroute the plumbing through the ceiling. Generally happy wih the results, though.
