Went excellent. Mr. Carter came out on time and was very professional and knowledgeable. He completed the inspection and sent the information to the office who provided an excellent price on the removal. Other companies were asking multiple thousand more for the same job. We scheduled the work and the crew came out who knocked out the job. They were professional,honest, and did an outstanding job on removing the asbestos. The underlying ducts looked brand new when they were done with the job. A+ for these guys!

My home inspector found a white "asbestos like" material in the home I was purchasing. He recommended I get it tested and removed right away. I called Darcco to come out and give me a quote. They told me that they don't come out until I can send them a report confirming asbestos on site. Unfortunately, they don't offer a service to have a tech pull a sample, so it was all on me to get that taken care of. They gave me a phone # for a laboratory. I called the lab and left a message but never called me back. I then called a different Abatement company who offered to come out and pull a sample and take it to be tested. Once I had the positive report, I e-mailed it to Darcco and they sent a tech out to give me a quote. The tech was easy to schedule, on time and friendly. But, unfortunately, wasn't able to find all of the asbestos on his first look. But, to his credit, he kept going back in the attic to check and see if he could verify what I was telling him. He did eventually find all of the pipe. When I got their quote, it was much higher than the other quote I received, so I went with the other company. I did get a follow up e-mail from the Darcco office politely asking why I had selected another company. They were very interested in my feedback and told me they always strive to do better. So I hope they start offering a service where the tech will come out and pull a sample - because being told you have asbestos is a pretty scary thing and having one company to help you do it all is much more helpful.
