+ -1 moreCSS was very responsive to my request for a proposal to do the work. I originally wanted to re-sod the entire front but Scott recommended that instead the oak canopies be raised and thinned to allow in more sun light, and to replace the lawn in the shaded areas with St. Augustine Palmetto, which is a shade tolerant variety. The quoted price was reasonable and actually under my budget. The work was begun on schedule with the field superintendent explaining the scope of work to the crew and getting them started. The work was done professionally and with respect for our property. The work was done in 2-1/2 days to my complete satisfaction. I recommend CSS Landscaping to anyone who wants quality landscaping work done at a fair price.
Description of Work: Trim mature oak trees to raise canopy and thin out canopy. Replace approx. 2700 sq. ft. of existing lawn with new St. Augustine sod. Adjust in-ground sprinklers as required.

+ 2 moreThey mow the yard every week, trim hedges and trees, and fertilize as warranteed accordingly. He also have them plant different things. They use to have a supervisor on the perimeter on the work and while he was there the yard looked much better. The yard was getting in bad shape. When they start doing the fertilizer and pesticides and stuff like that it was done under the other supervisor and it is just not in good shape.

Description of Work: I have been using CSS Landscaping for about 4 years and they do an outstanding job. They have well trained and well organized crews and the operation is run like a professional business (unlike many other lawn maintenance companies). While they are not the cheapest solution in town, the old adage that you get what you pay for, is usually true. 97% of the time they get it right (better than most), but the true test of a quality business (or people) is how they handle it when they don't. And that is where Scott (owner) and his crew excel. Whenever I have had an issue (usually not major) they are on it the same day and do whatever it takes to get it fixed. They are fair, professional, and interested in making the client happy. When the problem is their fault, it is fixed and there is no bill. Although we are a small residential account we get treated like we were their biggest commercial account. I could probably get some company to maintain my property for a little less but it wouldn't look this good and dealing with professionals is well worth it. This is an outstanding company and if you take pride in your lawn and landscaping, these are the people that you want.
