I love their service. The guys that work there are great. Lek Gjoka the owner of the company quoted a good 20% below any of the other quotes that I had gotten. They did a great job. They came out the next day for an estimate during the busy season. They were able to do the work 3 days from the call and did the work in 1 day. They were very professional and the owner is focused on building the quality and customer service of his business. The owner came at the beginning of the service and came out after the installation to inspect the work which was much appreciated. Overall it was just a great job. I really appreciated how quick they were able to install an air conditioning unit in the summer.

Lek came over on 7/26/12 to give an estimate. His estimate was very competitive. He initally offered me a Goodman condenser heat pump and air handler (2 ton 13 seer) with new condenser pad, copper line flusher, float switch and thermostat for $2550. This also came with a 2 year parts and labor warranty and the standard 10 year manufacturer warranty. All of the other companies only offered a 1 year parts and labor warranty. We talked about everything and Lek was very nice and to the point. I really got the impression that he wanted to do the best job possible and earn my business. He told me that if he does a job and doesn't get another referral out of it he didn't do the job right. He really focused on customer service and wanted to make sure that every customer was happy. He wasn't arrogant and didn't speak badly of any other companies and most importantly he didn't call 5,000 times after he left. I really felt like he was the right guy for the job. I had gotten an estimate from 12 other companies. Most of them I could just tell right away that they were either trying to rip me off and sell me something that I didn't need or I felt like they were going to do a put in and patch job. Some of the companies spoke badly about the other ones. I did get a strong offer from another company that I wasn't totally sold on (Carrier for $2700). I called Lek to ask him if he would match the offer I got for the better unit (for a Carrier, which is a much better unit) and he said absolutely. We scheduled the appointment and Lek's team showed up right on time at about 8:45 am. They were very efficient and I don't think they even took a break. They were very nice and cleaned up after themselves. Lek came over twice to see how things were going. He really wanted to make sure that his guys were doing the best job possible. They finished everything at about 1pm and my a/c was so cold there was condensation on the vents! This is a fantastic company!

At 8:00 on the day of install I had previously agreed with Lek to have them rip out our duct work and replace my unit with a high efficiency Trane X16I. He informed me I would be very satisified as he showed me a video of his house and this is where he had a strong faith in the product. In a short time we had 4 people at my house and they methodically tore out the old Rheem Air Handler and outside unit. This previous unit was so loud while it was running. Almost sounded like a small jet. With changes to the new Code in 2012 more returns are required to be installed in houses to maximize air turn over and circulation. He installed new returns in each bedroom. In short time the old unit was disassembled and slowly removed from the house. Ripping all the old ductwork out took more time as it was almost falling apart. The work crew started a little after 8 a.m. and Lek was intermittantly at the job site through out the day checking for any problems and offering solutions if something wasn't working out. His crew is a very motiviated precise crew that were very polite and conscience about creating a mess. They cleaned up the job site very nicely. My new A/C unit is super quiet and kicks butt. I would definitely recommend these guys as he also throwed in the first 2 years of annual pm's for free. The warranty on equipment is 10 years on everything and 12 years on the compressor. I don't mind paying for quality service and a well built product. Lek also notified me when he showed up that the particular air handler I was suppose to get was out of stock so he and Trane updated me to the next model with no additional price which saved a few hundred dollars. I can't say enough and the only bump I noticed was later that night as we were checking out the equipment outside I noticed a ladder was left behind with two sets of A/C charging gauges. I quickly called his office in the morning to notify him. I talked with him and told him they would be locked in my garage until they can back to pickup. Another thing that impressed me about Cool R Us was his motto that he didn't need to be the big guy on the block as that was too many headaches it was building his business one customer at a time by quality work/'repairs. He also gets a lot of business due to referals. If you need quality work check this guy out.

He was great. They did a lot in one day and it was a unique job because part of our unit is in a seperate attic. It was him and 2 helpers and they knocked it all out in a Saturday. They cleaned up after themselves. I have recommended them as well.

I already had 3 estimates in the Orange Park area but contacted Lek based on the recommendation of a co-worker who lives out towards the beaches. Lek agreed to stop by after 5 PM and he provided an estimate that was 20% to 15% below the others. I enquired about a few options I had read about on the Trane web site, and while Lek was willing to sell them to me, he felt I wouldn't much benefit and suggested I not purchase those options. Since both my wife and I work during the day, he did suggest a new digital programable thermostat to help reduce electric costs. I hesitated and he decided to add it to the job at a very low cost (I assume it was at his cost). We scheduled the job for the following week. Lek took care of all the permits and he provided all the documentation I would need to get Clay County Electric rebates and Federal Tax Credits. He and his team arrived on time and completed the job in about 4 hours. They did a great job even positioning the air handler a few more inches from the wall to prevent the vibration from traveling through the wall like the old one had. It has worked great with no problems. We are seeing about a 15% drop in our electric bills. We love the programable thermostat. Lek is an interesting fellow, a good HVAC technician and a very honest businessman.

Everything went exactly as promised, the installers arrived on time, worked all day, cleaned up afterward and it works like a charm. The installers were professional, neat, and clean, and worked straight through. The system is working well, as advertised and so far we are very pleased. We plan to use Cool R Us for our yearly maintenance as well.

Contacted Cool-R-Us upon recomendation from a co-worker. Called Friday morning about 9am and explained my problem to owner Lek Gjoka. Very friendly and easy to talk to. He said they could stop by in about 3 hours since they had a service call already scheduled for my side of town that morning. Mr Gjoka and his assistant arrived about 12:15 as promised. They did a quick inspection of my old system and explained what they would do to replace it, matching it up to my existing duct work. and rerouting some of the copper tubing. They did not try to sell me anything that was un-necessary or I did not want. He brought with him reports from his previous customers as well as his professional licenses . I felt very at ease with these people as Mr Gjoka stressed that customer service was most important. Was given options of a 13 or 15 seer unit , since the 15 seer qualified for federal tax credits and would end up about the same price as the 13 seer unit, we decided to go with that. They wanted to do the installation the very next day, Saturday, which surprised me , but he explained that they work nights and weekends all the time. He called his supplier right then to order the unit but they did not have one in stock at the moment, it would be sometime next week before one would be in. A high year end demand because of expiring Tax Credits was the problem. Recieved call from Mr Gjoka Wednesday to inform that all parts were on hand and if Thursday Morning about 9:30am would be ok. The installion crew arrived 10am , apoligized for being late due to picking up extra parts. Wasted no time in removing the old system and preparing to install the new unit. Mr Gjoka arrived about 12pm with a new slab for the outside unit and stayed and supervised until the installaton was complete. The crew made extra effort to remove the existing slab, which was too small and put the new one in place. At 330 pm the new system was complete and operational. New digital thermostat installed also. Overall very satisfied with this company, it is family owned an run , the employees very friendly and informative, will let you know whats going on with all steps of the installation. City inspector passed the project with no problems.

During estimate, Keith Murray offered a number of alternatives to minimize project costs. Very honest about costs and provided a quick estimate. Furnace and coil is located on the second floor and required a slightly more expensive unit, but Lek Gjoka held to his original estimate and ate the additional cost. Installers were thoroughly professional, and took great pains to avoid damaging floors and keeping work areas clean. I haven't received a JEA bill yet, but I have noted at least a three degree improvement on the first floor while the A/C doesn't run half as often. I will definitely recommend Cool-R-Us to family and friends!
