Concrete Works

I called Bob on 10/27/14 and he came right over to give me an estimate which was very fair compared to the other estimates I had received. We scheduled the work to be done in two weeks and Bob was here exactly when he said he would be. He removed the old driveway, fixed some leaking pipes, filled in some erosion holes, and poured a beautiful new driveway. He added picture framing to it at no cost and filled in a plant area at no charge as well. I would highly recommend Concrete Works and Bob Davidson to anyone looking for good work at a reasonable price.

I am very impressed with the work done by Bob Davidson Concrete Works. The crew worked very well together and did a great job on the driveway. My new driveway is wonderful and the crew cleaned up after the pour. They took great care in regards to my sewer line as not to damage it. They were on time with the start to the finish. If I ever have a need for more concrete work I will use them again. I am very satisfied with the work. Thanks to Bob and his crew.

We are extremely pleased with the 13x42 ft patio that Concrete Works completed for us. Mr. Davidson was even willing to accommodate last minute changes to the patio the day it was poured ( picture frame edging and 2 pipes for electrical wires ). His crew was professional and completed the job in one day ( next morning removed form boards and cleaned up ). Prior to hiring Concrete Works, we got quotes from three other concrete contractors. Concrete Works quote was the highest, but still a very fair price. We decided to go with Concrete Works based on Mr. Davidson?s knowledge of concrete/options for design, recommendations from a friend and ratings on Angie?s list. I can truly say I would recommend this company to anyone and plan on using them again in the future!

Work was performed faster than promised, excellent job. Always on time and courteous. I would also add I appreciate the fact that the contractor uses Citizens.

Bob Davidson is a personable and reliable concrete professional. He responded to my request for an estimate in a very timely manner and suggested detailing at no extra cost. His estimate was in range with all other estimates I received (slightly lower). The work was done on time and is well crafted. The extra detailing is beautiful. He also repaired a crack in the sidewalk at no extra charge. I was so pleased with his work I asked him to return to fill in an area in my foyer. Again I received an immediate estimate. On the scheduled date he called well before the appointed time to inform me that there would be a delay due to a problem at another job site. I opted to reschedule and that work was done on time and well. I highly recommend Concrete Works.

Drainage issued resolved. However; in the process of installing the drainage system, my sprinkler system was cut In more than 10 areas which required repairs of slightly less than $500. The irrigation company took photos which I forwarded to Concrete Works. I also advised them that my next door neighbor was a witness to the repairs. In fact, my neighbor was so upset on my behalf, he encouraged me to take immediate action and advised that he would never consider using Concrete Works for anything. I immediately contacted Concrete Works to give them a "heads up" and advised them that once I returned home and had had an opportunity to speak to the sprinkler company and my neighbor I would give them a call. As of this date, I have been unable to resolve this issue despite numerous attempts to contact Concrete Works. My drainage issue has been corrected but at the expense of the additional cost of repairs to my sprinkler system caused by Concrete Works. If a company is not willing to work with a customer and rectify any problems, they should not be in business. I recognize that this damage was unintentional and believed the company would want to address the issue in a timely manner. Unfortunately, I have been unable to get this issue resolved despite numerous attempts and reluctantly must provide a rating of "F" for customer service.

Job went smoothly and quickly. Crew was enthusiastic, professional and friendly. No wasted effort as site prep and pours went quickly. Bob had the larger patio "picture frame" finished - very nice! Overall a very pleasant experience. We highly recommend Concrete Works for your concrete needs!

Awesome job! So grateful that Bob and Gary came to my rescue. I had a concrete job go horribly wrong and they were able to repair and refinish to salvage the project. I will definitely hire Concrete Works again for future projects. Bob was so professional and helpful. We enjoyed doing business with him and would definitely recommend him to our friends and neighbors.

I called several concrete companies, and Bob was the only one that responded quickly and was able to drop by my house to do an estimate the day after I called him. Other companies NEVER called back after initial call, or took over a week to get back to me. Bob came in with a very fair estimate for the work, was very friendly and knowledgeable about what he does, and was able to give me a solid timeframe for when he could complete the work. We wanted to stain/color the patio after he poured the slab, and he was honest about pricing, recommending that we do that work ourselves, and giving us great product suggestions. The guys came to prep and demo at the time/date promised and had the slab poured and drying two days later. After the forms were removed, a small chunk came off the edge, and Bob dropped by to see it and brought one of his guys to repair it the same day I told him about it. The patio has had time to cure, and we have since stained it. It looks beautiful! Job well done, for a great price!

We talked on the phone and agreed to a mutually agreeable time/appointment. Then never heard from him again.

I did not hire Bob to do the work only because I had spoken with another vendor prior to Bob. I would have used Bob had I not already agreed to have the work performed by another vendor on Angie's List. I did want to make certain that people know that Bob was propmt in responding to me and was very professional. I would not hesitate to use him in the future and would highly recommend him.

Overall, we were quite pleased with Bob and his crew. They were professional and got the job done right.

It went great! They were very professional. They got the job done in the amount of time that they said they were going to. They also cleaned up after themselves. We would recommend them.

Wow. They were awesome. I wish every contractor we dealt with had such a work ethic and commitment to quality. They were detail oriented, making sure things looked right and were properly done. Excellent communication about what they were doing and when and why. We always were kept apprised of the next step in the job. They worked very neatly, leaving the area better than they found it. No "leftovers" to surprise a foot or a tire. Even when they started the job we could see that they took pride in their work. They moved the flagstones where the patio was being poured and stacked them neatly instead of just tossing them in a pile. They even took the mulch out that was reusable and piled it up nicely so we could reuse it elsewhere on the property. I'd highly recommend them to a friend without a qualm.

Used them to replace a cracked and worn driveway. A very professional job -completed on time, courteous, driveway looks great; satisfied with the entire experience.

Got concrete splashes on house, plants, doors. Blamed rain Contractor should have covered poured concrete to avoid splashes. Took long time (7 weeks) to rectify.

I live in a gated community, and our Home Owners Association's A.R.C. was not supposed to have a meeting until mid-December to discuss my driveway expansion project - whether or not it is to be approved. One day prior to the ARC meeting in November, I received a phone call from the ARC's coordinator that they decided to discuss my project in November ARC meeting. I, therefore, contacted Mr. Bob Davidson's Concrete Works, and asked him if he would assess the site and give me an estimate so as to provide the necessary ARC application form to the ARC on the same date - the ARC meeting date. Mr. Davidson arranged his schedule to come see me and gave an estimate including Angie's List's $100 coupon. His 2-men crew came to work on 12-05-13, and their work was very professional and their work attitude was exceptional. They were able to complete the work next morning (12-06-2013) after they remove the frame work and used a saw to create the seam to avoid cracks in the future.

He has been very good about keeping me up to date. We had bad weather so it's delayed some of his other projects. He has been extremely professional, very personable.

Bob was extremely responsive and came out to the house within a days' time to give us an on site estimate of the work we wanted done and even told us when he would be able to begin work. Everyone was extremely professional on site and cleaned up after the work for the day was completed. On the one occasion where the crew was running late, we received a phone call letting us know which was much appreciated. The slabs turned out to our satisfaction, the work was completed on time as promised and the price was extremely competitive. Bob even gave us additional landscaping ideas that we hadn't thought of ourselves! We would recommend Concrete Works and we would definitely use them again.

It took five days of steady work from his team. They arrived timely every day and worked very hard all day. Bob and his two employees were always polite, professional and helpful with ideas. They left no messes to clean up and it was a pleasure to have people care about what they do and pay attention to detail. I will use Concrete Works in the future.

Bob came out and looked at our back patio and made some suggestions on how we could improve the look of our back yard. He extended our existing patio by 9 feet and added a kidney shaped extension that was approximately 12 x 12. He also poured a half round step off our patio to the ground. Work was performed in a very professional manner. I would highly recommend him. UPDATE I initially gave him a high rating because I thought he would return and keep his word to fix the issues but he didn't. It rained when the job was performed and some of the concrete was damaged. Bob came back out and they did some patching. It was not acceptable. I called him to come back several times and he never did. He promised many times to make it right but never followed through. My problem is that I paid him completely so he had no reason to return and fix the problem. I would not hire again. Beware and be sure you are happy before you pay in full.

Owner Bob Davidson gave me an on-site estimate the same day I contacted him. He is very professional, courteous, and punctual, the same can be said for his employees. A new circular concrete sidewalk was installed, river rock was spread in a large landscape area, and the long driveway was replenished with pea sized river rock. I am very pleased with all the work, including the clean-up. I would highly recommend this company to others in need of concrete and or rock work.

The service provider was punctual and professional at our estimate meeting. He was very knowledgable about my problem, and the needed fix. We have not yet had the work done on our home, but will definitely use Concrete Works when we are ready for this project

We contacted Bob Davidson for an estimate for a patio extension and pavers. He answered his phone as soon as we called and came to our home at our earliest convenience. He took his time in discussing this project (about $5,000 in scope), asked questions, listened and showed us pictures of his work. He was easy to talk to and did not rush us. My husband and I both really appreciated the discussion we had with him. We are still evaluating our options for the project.
