I engaged David to resurface my pool deck, stain it and patch a leak in a concrete pool spillover. His team did a very sloppy freehand job, did not use an edge guard and left stain all over the tile trim around my pool. I asked David about it and he said that he would take a look at it and determine if he needed to fix anything. I told him that I was stopping payment unless and until it was fixed. His guy came back and admitted that the work was sloppy because 1) he had his inexperienced grandson doing the trim work and 2) he was trying to knock off early. Also, instead of properly fixing the leak, they basically filled it with a raw ball of concrete, didn’t bother leveling it AND SIMPLY STUCK ROCKS TO IT TO HIDE THE POOR WORKMANSHIP!!! When I again brought it to David’s attention, his only response was to tell me to take $100 off (of a $3,200 bill) and ask me when he could pick up his check. What a disappointment!

Never again! Do Not Use this guy! David Cherup of Concrete Stone Masters of FL provided me with an estimate to paint the pool deck and paint in grout lines. The area was about 400 square feet. We agreed on a price and he began to do the painting. After he painted a single coat which took about an hour and barely covered the existing paint I decided not to have the grout lines painted. I suggested that the price be renegotiated if the grout lines wont be done because they would take a majority of the time to paint. He through a temper tantrum like a 5 year old and walked away saying fine pay me what you want His behavior was very unprofessional. A few days later he came back and painted another coat which took another hour. Before he left he said that this job was not turning out as he had hoped and did not look good. He said he would return on Monday to finish it. On Monday he sent 2 of his workers over to finish the job but they had no idea what needed to be done and did not have enough paint. They left and shortly after, I received a call from Mr. Cherup literally shouting why did not I give his workers a check. First of all they did not ask for a check. Secondly the job was half finished. Thirdly I assumed that Mr. Cerup as the owner would make a final inspection of the job and ensure that I as the homeowner am satisfied with the job. I told him I was going to pay him half of the agreed amount because he only did half the work. He screamed that he would be over right now to pick up the check. It was clear Mr. Cerup lacks integrity, self control and honesty. Customer satisfaction is not a priority for him but getting his money is.

I am a person who is hard to please. I expect exceptional work. I was very pleased with the work that David completed. He saw my vision, and it came out better than I expected. He went above and beyond and added a few extras! David was always on time and honest. I will hire Concrete Stone Masters again.

This was a total disaster. What was supposed to be a stamped concrete patio ended up being a terribly uneven slab that gathers water. My yard was torn up and they pinched my gas line that now needs to be replaced. I had to fire them mid project. David then would not respond to my texts or calls. I would avoid them at costs.

David refinished our driveway in late nov 2021 which he used behr concrete stain which is a paintable material. After the work was done and staying off it for a week, the paint started to peel up where the cars tires were sitting on. I contacted Linda his sales partner and told her about the situation, took pictures and everything. David came out and said that they would have to pressure wash the whole area and redo it. This was before thanksgiving of 2021. He said it wont be able to get to it until after new years. Well new years has passed I've left him several messages and has texted him numerous times but he just gives me excuses after excuses to the point that he has completely ignored me. To this day I have not heard back from Him and I have a feeling that I will never will. I am glad that he worked out well for others but in my case it has not. It was not cheap work we paid 5k cash for someone to draw on our driveway and paint it. Totally regret hiring this company.

David was reliable, honest, and skilled! He made the wall exactly as we discussed and he even went above and beyond to grade the property and throw in a little step. I couldnâ t be more pleased with his work! I highly recommend Stonemasters of Florida!!

Very sloppy work, give excuses rather than correcting the problem. They offered a 20-year warranty, but I do not think they will honor it. Offered the workers a bathroom they could use, but the owner pissed in my front yard. The owner was begging for more money because of how hard it was to get supplies. Not professional, do not hire for any reason!

This project was terrible. The driveway is already peeling. They said it would take 3 days. However, they did it less than 12 hrs. Sound like they cut corners. When he finally showed up after several texts, he said he fixed them. They are still terrible. I totally would stay away from them. If you do not believe me, come to see my driveway. Buyer beware.

These guys will work with you. They did exactly what I asked for. Will be hiring them again for other projects in future.

We wanted our driveway to be re-paved and our patio re-graded to ensure proper water drainage. David came when he said he would, both during the planning and execution phases. He told us we did not need as much work on the patio as we envisioned and hence charged us much less than we anticipated. The driveway is smooth, level and all we could have wanted. And all was on time and on budget.

They did very good work but we did have minor concerns with the color of the finish. We are happy but make sure that you clarify the final color when hiring this company.

Said they would do the job in 3 days, refinish patio and porch concrete pavers, grind out and replace grout, seal, would *look like new*. They worked about half a day on each of two days, never came back to finish, looks awful. Totally unsatisfactory. At the end of day 2, they asked for a deposit of $2000. I gave them a check for $1000. When they did not show I stopped payment on the check. Do not use them and above all, do not pay for anything until the project is satisfactorily completed.

Excellent work. Job was started on the promised date and finished timely. David Cherup, owner, was on the job with the crew. I am very pleased with the results.

They poured the concrete incorrectly, totally wrong dimensions. Their fix was for me to pay more money so they could increase the size of the pad to align with some of the requested dimensions. The job was quoted to take 2 days. It took 7. The finished product is pooling water in the middle of the new pad. The concrete is visibly uneven. As for the finish, the pictures I was shown of their finished work prior to selecting them didn't match the poor quality of what I received. I am extremely unhappy with every aspect of this job.

I met with david about my retaining wall in the backyard. His team did an amazing job and made it look exactly like a stone wall. I liked his work so much, I even got him to work on a second wall by my parking pad.

David provided concrete expertise that we did not have. His recommendations helped us to decide how much concrete work we actually needed vice removing and pouring a complete driveway. Really appreciate his professionalism and politeness. His team showed up when promised, did the work they were contracted to do, and returned to clean up the job site when finished. You don't often see this kind of dedicated effort and we certainly thank David and his dedicated team for their work.
