I called Comfort Zone of North Florida and spoke to Ashley over the phone to confirm my appointment time, date and price. I was quoted $125.00 and had the check all set to go. when the service man got to my house he said he would not fix my A/C unit for less than $149.00. Because of the heat here in Jacksonville in June I had no choice but to go along with it. I felt this was very dishonest of Comfort Zone and would never recommend them to anyone. Karen.S Homeonwer

Description of Work: This was through HB 2-10 homeowner's warranty. They came out several times because the ac would not blow cold, and eventually after much complaining they replaced my thermal expansion valve. Many of their arrival times were hours off of when I was told to expect them, so I wasted an entire vacation day waiting for the tech to come. I had to wait days for the warranty to be approved, in a hot house with the ac off. But due to their unresponsiveness when calling back, I will choose another company for all of my future ac needs.

+ 0 moreMy previous a/c company was giving me a run around by not returning px calls and keeping the scheduled appointment. So I contacted my home warranty who provided this company's name - Comfort Zone and px number. They were very courteous and professional. They came out on May 4th and advised what needed fixed and gave me a quote. I agreed and they returned on May 7th and completed the work. I'm very happy with the improvements and quality of work performed. Many Thanks!
Description of Work: Replaced duct work for a larger a/c, added 12x12 return boot/grill and enlarged boxing return to air filter.

Description of Work: They came out to fix a job that another company messed up. They replaced the correct capacitor, the freon was low so they corrected that. The tech (MATT). Came and after we explained the problem to him, he knew exactly what do. They where chosen by our warranty co,I would use them again even if I had to pay the bill.

+ -1 moreThe first time they replaced a faulty factory coil, the second time it was a float valve that was clogged. They were very quick and knew how to fix the problem. I am not so easy, they did a good job.
Description of Work: Came out and checked us out after a home warranty call. They have been out twice in the last 3 years and have always been very professional and have always fixed the problem. Would use them again, with or without a home warranty.
