Excellent pool maintenance from these guys!

From the beginning of construction I knew we were in for problems; the first sign was that they wanted to charge me additional money to haul away a tree root that was excavated during the dig. I refused to pay and they refuse to take it away. I quote "If we were to find buried treasure in your yard, would it be yours or ours?", an analogy that was very insulting. The process was been screwed up from the get go.They were shaping the pool with rebar, they missed the design form we submitted. If I did not bring it to their attention, my pool would not be as I designed. They installed the wrong pump; I paid $500 extra for a state of the art efficient pump, they had to change it. The cement pad was the wrong size they had to come back and pour more cement. The waterfall failed 2 weeks into service it separated but was replaced. The paver group had to come at least 3 times after initial installation because of problems and still today the pavers have settle and moved without final repair.

Installation went smoothly. Only real complaint was lack of notification until after they had accomplished a phase of construction. Had to call consistently to receive install updates as I was attempting to coordinate with my plumbers and electricians for a wet bar I was installing at the same time. Another issue was lighting of the Black bottom pool. Swimcraft "gave" us a LCD Disco type light. On a white bottom pool one light would be sufficient. However because of the nature of the bottom's color the light is very difficult to see. Had they suggested the purchase of additional lights prior to completion we would have bought them. As it is, it's very dangerous to swim at night because the steps are not light up and difficult to see.

I was really hard on Swimcraft Pools while they were doing the work, but they lived up to what I wanted and I ended up with a great pool. I'm happy with their work. I highly recommend them.

The subcontractors from Swimcraft Pools were very punctual and willing to answer any questions I had. We were on a tight timeline, and everything was finished on schedule with beautiful results.
