Our previously existing lawn was removed and resodded within 48 hrs, start to finish. This led us to be concerned that the weeds and previously existing grass that occupied the yard before were sure to come back after the new zoysia grass was laid. Brian, of Hunt Land Services assured us that this should not be a concern for us and reassured us with a one year guarantee on the yard if we signed up with Peninsular lawn care throughout the year. Three weeks later we had weeds and grass from our prior yard growing through our new grass. The weeds encompassed the entire yard and the old grass was untreatable with peninsular (they kill weeds, not grass). I spoke with Brian and he said he would take care of the problem. After a few more reminder phone calls he sent a couple of guys out to pick the weeds. The guys had multiple bags full of weeds (my yard is very small) and seemed to a very temporary solution. It has almost been a year now and Hunt Land Services has not returned any of our numerous phone calls and emails to come to a resolution on what to do with my yard. At this point the previously existing grass and weeds have completely taken over our front yard, to the point where it looks worse than it did when we first began.
