Made an appointment for someone to come to my house on a Monday morning at 9am. At 8am the day of the appointment they called to reschedule for Wednesday morning between 9-10am. No one showed at 9:30. Called back again at 11:30. No one had any idea where the technician was and could give me no answers on when he would show up. Someone finally called at 2:30 pm and said that a technician would be out to the house between 5-6 pm that evening. A tech never showed up. I literally waited on them an entire day and no one showed up nor did anyone call to check up. Very disappointed. I had used them before, but I won't use them again.

They had great reviews and I was pressed for time, so I didn't get competitive bids. Scheduling the work took more time than I expected, but I assume spring is their busy time. I'm very pleased with the irrigation system and I thought the price was fair. I'm happy with the results in the front of the house. They selected the plants and designed the layout. When one of the plants died after a month, they responded quickly and replaced it. Clearing the area behind the shed took them less than 4 hours. Since I was charged the same amount as the 8 to 10 hours of landscaping work in the front of the house; I felt I was overcharged for the work behind he shed. All the workers spoke fluent English so there was no problem communicating. In fact, the work crew was very responsive to my suggestions and very helpful. I would hire again, but, I would definitely get some competitive bids.

Purchased an Angie's List special for "sprinkler tune up" at the urging of the sales rep I spoke to. They no showed for the first appointment. Were very apologetic about the no show and rescheduled for the following Saturday. The gentleman who came out tried to make it up to me by "doing more work than the special allowed for". he cleaned sand out of the well and pump lines, re-primed the pump and replaced some damaged sprinkler heads. He got very frustrated with me when I asked about adjusting the sprinkler heads (as they were overspraying onto the street and fence) and checking the valves for each zone to see if they needed replacing. he told me he had already spent more time for my appointment than was allowed. I offered to pay him (above what I paid for the special) for any parts/labor not covered by the special but he refused to take any payment. A few weeks later the system was down again. Same gentleman came back and this time he replaced a broken check valve on the pump. I paid for this service and the parts. Again, I asked about adjusting the valve heads for overspray and checking the zone valves. Again, I was told he didn't have the time. System went down again. My Dad happened to be in town and while he is not a professional irrigation man, he is pretty smart and handy. He found more leaks in the pump lines, fixed them and the system (except for one zone) is working fine! Not going to call this company a third time to fix the one inoperative zone.

They did the work promptly and it was fine, but we had to pay additional fees because it was in bad shape.

Our yard, both front and back, had become overgrown and lacked a cohesive appearance. We needed help. Charles came out and made suggestions in addition to some of our ideas. I can't tell you how pleased we are with the outcome. The company was easy to work with, professional and overall just great. The workers arrived at the appointed time, did the job and cleaned up. They also did the pressure washing and the house and pavement look fresh and clean. We will certainly use the company again for any of our future needs.

Excellent. C&L literally saved the day. We had a pergola and patio installed (different contractors) before my sons wedding. Patio installation ran over a week behind schedule and turned out substantially higher than contractor thought. Called C & L. George came out looked at the project, told me they could get it done. Dirt arrived was graded in place with sod to arrive next day. That night... massive rain storm (hadn't rained in a month) washes the dirt out. Sod arrives, crew rakes the dirt back into place gets the sod down, looks fantastic.... wedding goes off without a hitch with yard looking great.

It didn't! I called them at least 4 or 5 times and when someone finally called me back there were all sorts of stories and excuses on why nothing had been done. I even tried to back off thinking they may be busy and will call back when my name comes up on their list. That was about a month and a half ago.

George and his crew did a great job and made sure that we were satisfied. When the lights needed adjustments, plants died, etc they were willing and able to make it right. Very happy with their work and customer service.

We delt with George Smith who gave us an estimate and explained what they could do for us. We accepted his proposal based mostly on other reviews on Angie's List, and we are very glad that we did. George will keep you informed and will show up on job site every day! Don't fool around with the fly-by-night contractors, who will make you regret your decision! Deal with George & C&L landscape, you will be glad you did. After the job was done, George surprised us by mulching our front flower beds and pressure washing the driveway! Is this satisfying the customer or what? You will also be very pleased by the quality workmanship!

George and his team did it again! From landscaping, sod and amazing paver work, we could not be more pleased. Details are important to us which is one of the reasons C & L is our go-to company...they are important to them as well, from finishing touches to clean up! We highly recommend C & L and will call them again as we dream about our next "project".

The rep arrived ahead of time, was friendly, respectful and hard-working. He got right to work and finished the job ahead of my expectations.

I did have to call them back out to repair but they were prompt and handled the situation.

It went very well. They were on time and the installer was able to make the curves that my wife wanted. The only thing we had to wait for was the pavers to be made, so that all matched.

The owner came to my house and asked me to give him another chance. I said okay he fixed the original problem and everything is okay. Not only did he fixed the original problem he explained to me other problems I had and fixed it for free. They were here for five hours and didn't charge me anything. Yes, I would recommend this company they did a great job and in the future this is the only company I will call for my lawn service. Great job guys.

Outstanding in every way - from start to finish and follow up.

They did an amazing job super fast response and looks amazing! They are super clean and tidy and I highly recommend them and will use them again.

I just ended up finding the manual on the computer, and my husband figured it out.

Went well except there were 3 heads that were not working. Adjustments were made, but soon failed. Contacted C&L Landscape again and they were very responsive and returned after my work hours to remove and reinstall 3 sprinkler heads. There was no charge for replacing the three new sprinkler heads.

They not only put in our landscaping, they mowed, trimmed our bushes and power washed the house. All within the estimated landscaping fee.. very personable and efficient. Worth every penny.

Technician was very punctual and professional.
