Cindy and Bill did a great job for us. The weather this year has been a challenge and has caused delays in their scheduling, but it is worth the wait! Book early!

Billy and Cindy were very professional, more than that very personable . We had heard a lot about the Sherwin Williams exterior Loxon paint and were convinced it was the best. Luckily, Cindy argued with me and actually took me on a Sunday to a house they had previously painted with Glidden Flex 300. The quality and richness of the paint convinced me on the spot. The owners were home, which was a bonus, and raved about the paint and the painters. They came both for the quote and for the job at the time they said they would be there, and called if they were running late for unforeseen reasons. Everyday, they cleaned up and packed up at the end of the day. All the good reviews they get are well deserved. They take very good care on satisfying the client, and take pride in the job they do. It is refreshing to work with Trades persons of this caliber, helas, it is too often not the case. Do not hesitate to hire them, I highly recommend them . I am not always an easy customer to please with today's standards. Thank you Cindy and Billy.

Billy and Cindy were a pleasure to work with. They gave me a quote on a Sunday (great price!), decided to use them, and since they had an opening, started work the very next day. Since it was such short notice to get started, I was not able to pick out the colors myself. I asked them to just color match the current paint on the house the best they could and they did that well. The end result turned out wonderful and their attention to detail was great. I would recommend them to anyone.

Cindy and Bill were great to work with!! I had previously had my house painted 3 years prior and the paint that was used at that time turned out to be defective. So paint that was supposed to last 7 years only lasted 3 years. It was Sherwin Williams Luxon XP and turned out to be terrible looking after just 3 years. Cindy and Bill were very responsive and came out the same day I contacted them to provide a quote to me. I explained my situation to them and they had actually heard about issues with this paint. They recommended another paint that would last 7-10 years. They were also able to match the paint color that I had on the house which I really wanted to keep. The work they did was awesome and they were able to also correct the mistakes that the prior painter had made. They are very detailed which is nice. They are very professional and made sure I was happy throughout the whole process. The house looks like brand new again and I am thrilled with the work that they did. I have even asked them to come back and do some interior painting for me since I can trust them to do the job right. I would definitely recommend Cindy and Bill to anyone that needs painting done on their house. Kudos to Cindy and Bill!

Cindy initially responded with a date to provide estimate for exterior painting and wood rot of house. I had to cancel and re-schedule for today (4/11/14). Cindy called me at approx. 12:00 today, and said she was giving me 30 minute notice to return her call. At the time of her call, I was at the doctor's office with my mother. When I was able to call her back, I did so - approx. 12:45. . She stated they were finished for the day, and wanted to come by the house now. Since I was still at the doctor's office, I said, what about Sunday (this is the day she told me originally that they typically provide estimates). She then said: "We are backing out of the job, we don't want the job". And, she hangs up. After sitting there stunned, I tried to call her back. No answer. And, that was my experience with Billy & Cindy's. Totally unprofessional. So, although Billy & Cindy have high ratings on Angie's List, I can only rate them on my experience with them. Which, only went so far as a few phone conversations, that left me with a rating of -- highly unprofessional.

They gave us a quote and scheduled us for 2 weeks later. They were on schedule when they arrived and were at the house every day by 9:30 which worked out perfect for me. I was impressed when Billy weeded around the edges of the house so they could paint all the way to the bottom. They finished the job a day early and left the extra paint for us. Billy and Cindy are very easy to talk to and I would recommend them to any of my family or friends. We hope to use them in the future for other projects.

The did a great job, used excellent paint and our house looks great. My wife and I really enjoyed meeting them and would recommend them fully.

It was fabulous. They were quick to come out to touch up areas. They were very good at everything.

Bill and Cindy are very easy to talk with and what they tell you is the truth, no unpleasant surprises when work is done. They are professionals in the painting business. They make it look so easy the way they work together to do a superior job. I could not find any areas that needed fixing. They are very neat and clean, never a mess and everything put away at the end of day each day. They did a great paint job. I would recommend them to anybody. I will be their customer for any work needed going forward.

I found the Bakers on Angies list and they certainly lived up to the reviews. In short, if you can get em to paint your stuff, get em. They stay pretty booked up.. One of the great things about having them on your project is that Billy is licensed in plumbing and electric. They do all kinds of home projects, bathrooms add ons kitchens etc. They can show you pictures of their stuff. We had some remodeling done and both Billy and Cindy would point out things that could have been done better. I had a leak in my fireplace which my contractor offered to open the wall up to investigate. I ran it by Billy, who suggested it was a shingle issue which he addressed for less than $20 in materials. They are great people and work very hard. They got messed up by the weather quite a bit when they got to the exterior painting, otherwise they would have been done much sooner.

They were very slow on answering callbacks. It always seemed to be an excuse for no callback, when I finally did reach them. I just wanted to know when they could do an inspection and we can set a price. This was in 2012 summer months. (but no work or contract was done)

- First, because we live in Florida, Billy & Cindy were delayed due to weather from the expected start date of late September. They also had a family member take ill and pass away, pushing their already full workload back farther another week. - I'm here to say, they are worth the wait, whatever it is! They started work promptly each day. They gave full disclosure on materials costs. I wasn't used to that! A contractor will give you a price including approximations of materials, and if there are cost savings, they go into their pockets, but you'll get hit for overages. Not Billy and Cindy! The actual receipt from the home improvement store was presented, and the exact amount placed on the invoice. - We had some vegetation around the house that made it challenging because it was against the surface being painted. It was carefully and aesthetically trimmed back so as to present a neat appearance. Pressure washing was done to prepare the surfaces, and caulk was applied to correctly seal the weathered surfaces. - They painted our T-111, hardyboard and stucco house with the correct paints: T-111 got semi-gloss for better weather resistance since it's such a thirsty surface anyway, as did the hardyboard, and the stucco received the flat paint type correctly. The colors were perfectly matched! All downspouts with discoloration were also colored and preserved. - As was previously discussed with them, they did woodwork around the base of the T-111 to present a better looking finished bottom edge by placing 2x4 beveled molding. The work was first rate and finished nicely. What a difference! - When done for the day, the jobsite was left picked up and tools locked away every day. Absolutely all attention to detail given. My strongest possible recommendation to all who need a quality and reasonable painting team to paint their home!!!

The name of this charming couple?s business says it all, but not enough! As an occasional resident of Jacksonville, it was my extremely good fortune to find Billy & Cindy?s firm on Angie?s List among the many vying for my attention and business! I began my contact with Cindy from my home in Maryland via telephone and then email exchanges, and when we arrived in Jacksonville we had already agreed to meet at a mutually acceptable time. Shortly after our arrival, Billy and Cindy came out to inspect the paint job I had, which was the complete exterior of the house. She precisely described the services that would be performed, which included gentle pressure washing with chlorine, followed up with complete caulking where needed, and it was extensive. For a three-day period they meticulously set about their tasks, using paints of my choosing and their supplying, applying as many layers as required by the extremely porous T111 exterior panels, some of which had not seen paint nor brush in many, many years, if ever! Billy followed up in many areas he had spray-painted with a roller technique, and all surfaces were well-sealed with paint. Many upper areas required the use of not only a ladder but stilts which Billy artfully and competently used in order to reach every difficult to paint nook & cranny. Billy and Cindy are wholesome, excellent folks, and believe in and have adopted the adage of ?paying it forward!? They will take extreme measures to ensure that their customer is thoroughly satisfied before they leave the site. To say the least, I was extremely satisfied with the work they performed and would unequivocally recommend them to anyone who requires a quality paint job at great rates! My biggest regret was that I didn?t have more work for them to perform!

I have not decided if I am going to hire them for the job yet. One drawback is they are very busy (which is good), and they would not be able to get to me until November, and maybe not until late November. I'm not sure I want to wait that long to get the shower done.

Billy and Cindy were outstanding. The rotten wood was replaced in a very professional manner with excellent workmanship, and they dealt with unanticipated problem areas quickly and with great results. They are highly skilled painters who give great attention to detail. I was particularly impressed with the way they worked around the frequent afternoon showers and got the job finished in a timely manner. And finally, Billy and Cindy are two very nice people who were a pleasure to work with.

It was horrible. Very last minute cancelation that was found out to be untrue!! I feel like she was disappointed not to get the outside too so lead us down a path like she was going to do the job as late as yesterday AM and then canceled with an untrue excuse. I was very disappointed as I felt we had a very good working relationship and she basically lied. If they didn't want the job they should not have been so aggressive in trying to secure it. Good news though, got another painter who is highly recommended and his price was $1500.00 cheaper. To me it would have been better to be honest.

We own an older concrete block home with wood trim. There were several places where the wood had to be replaced, and the home had not been painted in over 10 years. Billy and Cindy's bid was the lowest we received. They provided us with a good estimate of the time and material needed to do the job. They were punctual and professional. We were always informed when they arrived and departed, and they kept us informed during the week as to how the work was progressing. The job was finished within the promised time frame in spite of some problems with the weather. The wood replacement was excellent. The paint job itself was also excellent, much better than any of the previous jobs. Billy and Cindy performed all of the work on our property themselves with no others to assist them. We waited about 3 months from the time of the estimate to completion of the job but we were informed of this at the time of the estimate. We were very satisfied with the results and would use them again and recommend them to others.

Cindy and Billy are fantastic! We contracted with them to do the painting of our house, which was a short-sell that we recently purchased. In order to close on the house, the lender was requiring some damaged drywall to be removed/repaired/replaced. Although Cindy and Billy had vacation plans, they circumvented their trip to come by so Billy could do the drywall repair. They are so much more than paint contractors. Very professional, personal, courteous....quickly became a part of our family. They were helpful in providing added security during an issue with a concrete contractor. All in all, a wonderful experience with them. We would glady hire them again and have referred them to others many times.

From beginning to end Cindy was always very responsive and kept me informed. They were very busy when I called but went out and gave me an estimate for the job and then a date when they could start the project. There was a cancellation on their schedule and she called to give me the option of painting earlier than originally promised. Cindy kept me posted on their schedule. Billy and Cindy started and completed the job in three days. Too often I deal with contractors that say they are only working on my job only to find out later that it is one of many and they may or may not be there as promised. Billy and Cindy do not operate that way. They start your job and do not leave until it is finished. I REALLY appreciate that. They are honest, responsive and easy to work with. The price was very fair. I think I have finally found my new favorite painters.

I contacted Bill and Cindy's Painting for an estimate on repairs to our home - including exterior painting, rotten wood replacement and window caulking. Cindy called me back first thing the next day. She was extremely polite and personable, even while explaining they would be unable to accept any more work during the time period requested. I was very impressed and would contact them again regarding future work.

Got an estimate to pain the exterior of our two story home. The estimate was reasonable and the couple was very pleasant. We decided not to use them because they were booked for the next 4 months and we wanted the work done sooner.

Great professionals. Were prompt. They do the work themselves so you are dealing with the people who will do your job. They arrive on time as they will have established with you every day the weather is suitable for painting (my work was exterior). They keep the job site clean and tidy every day. Bill and Cindy communicate with you in a way that fills you with confidence that they understand what you want and then they execute it. I am very happy with what they did and will use them again.

They came out very quickly. We called and they are actually having lunch in our area, so they came out the same day we called and it went well. They walked around the house and they were here for 45 minutes to an hour. Their pricing is reasonable and we are committed to go use them.

Cindy and Billy are excellent to work with. Cindy had excellent communication from the initial inquiry all the way through to the end of the job. My neighbor even commented on the thorough job they did with the wood replacement. I really liked knowing that they same people that came to quote the job would be the people doing the actual work, and I didn't need to worry about whether sub-contractors would show up or not.
