Big Fish Roofing

Mike came out to look at my roof to add additional ventilation on 06/09/20 and said he would get back to me in a few days with a quote. I hadn't heard back, so I texted him on 06/19/20 and asked if he had the quote ready...no response. I called the office and they said he was working on quotes and that they would have him call me back. Today is 07/03/20 and I've heard nothing. Awful customer service!! If this is how you conduct business, I'm so glad that Big Fish Roofing WILL NOT be doing the repairs to my roof. Good luck in the future if this is how you intend on running your business.

Great company, very easy to work with and made an appointment for the next day. Steve, the owner of the company stopped by my house to check out a job I messed up when fixing a leak myself. He said I was completely capable of fixing the issue myself and actually gave me some advice on how to do it. Recommend to anyone.

it is our custom to seek about 3 quotes for a job. although we did not hire big fish, it is important for people to know how well they performed in all aspects of response and bidding. the only reason they did not get the job and we went with another company was because they are a smaller company and understandably have to do an upcharge if you want to use a credit card. since the one other company was larger but also competitive we chose them as they would accept a credit card without an upcharge. we were very impressed with big fish. I did the courtesy of calling to let them know about our choice and was greeted very warmly and appreciatively from them. I would recommend them.

We interviewed 4 roofing companies before selecting Big Fish Roofing Company. They answered and provided all information in a professional and timely manner. One thing that we respected is that they did not except that we knew/understood roofing terminology, or the latest products. Most people only deal with putting on 3-4 roofs in their lifetime! Christian Wells was our salesman. The team that came to perform the work was on time, prepped the site well so that debris did not fall into our drive, walkways, decking, flower beds or lawn. After each day the workers picked up their materials and picked up the dreaded roofing nails with the magnetic roller and by hand. There was an onsite supervisor at the site for 70-80% of time. These associates (Brett, Chris and Austin) were there to supervise the work, get additional supplies if needed and they kept us apprised of the progress and inspection processes. Our sales representative also called to check on our satisfaction during and after the job. With the daily afternoon rainstorms, we experienced 2 small ceiling leaks which they addressed immediately and repaired. When the job was finished, other than having a new roof, you could not tell that their associates had been on-site!

Mike did a thorough inspection and notice a couple of areas that needed to be resealed and a nail that had come out of one of the shingles which was the cause of the water leak. He resealed the areas of concern and reattached the shingle at no charge! This is customer service at its best. We will definitely call them for service in the future and refer them to friends!

They were very professional and did a very good job on our new roof. Right after the roof was installed, a big tree limb fell on it, and they came back out and checked the roof for damage at no charge. They did a great job!

It was great. They are a good company. They kept track their employees and did what they were supposed to do. They cleaned and hauled everything off. They were here everyday on time. Their estimate was the best.

Salesperson Eric was very personable and helpful when I decided to sign the contract with Big Fish. We agreed on a start date and it rained the first two days, so they came the third day and started removing my old roof. The next day they did not show up to finish the job so my roof was left undone for 2 days. After several attempts to contact Eric he admitted the crew went to start another job. I told him I was VERY unhappy that they left more than half my roof with NO shingles. He tried to assure me it was safe and it wasn't going to rain, but that didn't matter. The crew SHOULD have finished what they started. You don't start something then leave it less than half finished! Also, he stuck me with an extra $50 in the final bill. Eric claimed they needed an extra sheet of plywood but they did NOT inform me of that before they decided to use another sheet of plywood. They did clean up very well. There were no nails or scraps anywhere after they were done. Despite this and the fact that Eric was helpful in the beginning, I will not recommend Big Fish to anyone.

The work went quickly over two days. Workers cleaned up around house and used magnets to get nails that were removed or dropped.

They were very professional neat and knowledgeable work was done excellent The only down side was I have to have dish come out to adjust align satellite

They were excellent. This was a second home and we were only there for two weeks. They completed the job while we were in town. They're very responsive, polite, informative, and completed according to our contract.

The first morning Mark and his team showed up it started to rain. They had set up and sectioned off our yard. He told me that they would be back the next day as the rain had set in. They were back the next morning at 6:30 am and worked all day to complete the job in one day. They came back the next morning to inspect and clean up. Within a couple of weeks, a large storm came through and we had a leak around our chimney. I called Mark and he sent someone right out to the house. After the storm and the roof dried they came back three times to replace the flashing around the chimney. Finally we were able to get it finished without any leaks and they came and replaced the ceiling and re popcorn it. They were always responsive and worked hard to fix the issues.
