Glad I did my homework to get the best, most experienced, well trained and equipped company for the job. Hands down, I will hire the Big Ben company again, should I need them.

I called Big Bens Tree Service last week and Ben came out the same day. Ben came out himself and explained the process and the price and left me with an estimate. I had two other companies come out, both from Angies List that had good ratings. The first one was very knowledgeable, bit could not guarantee that the climber would have workers comp, so they were done. The second one was too high. I hired Big Ben and just like he said a five truck crew came and completely and strategically with every employee having a particular responsibility extracted the trees, probably a million dollars worth of equipment. They used a crane so the liability was decreased. I own a roofing company and have the highest rating on Angies list and would recommend Big Bens if you don't want problems. Big Bens will be referred by my company in the future.

They came out within a day. Left the lawn clean

If you have a big project then you need Big Ben's. They were able to very quickly and safely remove a large tree from our front yard. They also ground the stump 18and quot; below grade to allow a new tree to be planted in the same location. If you tell them that you want firewood they will leave you some of the smaller cuttings.

All work went well. Had all the proper equipment.

They were very professional. The owner really impressed me with the equipment that they had. He also showed me a portfolio of trees that they had cut down. His price was also better than everyone else's. I would recommend them.

They arrived promptly around 8am cut down 2 small trees and around 3 more smaller on fence line for my new fence to be installed.also went to a very overgrown evergreen tree and did a major trimming back.wow what a difference in a good way. They were here and gone in about 2 hours. they clean up very well would never know they were there except trees gone. I have used them before. I will need them to come back once more to trim up my huge oak tree.

This was an emergency situation and they were great. I called them around 7:00AM. They were at my house by 8:15AM, which was 15 minutes earlier then they had stated. They were all very professional and got right to work. They had both trees removed and everything cleaned and were gone by 10:00AM. The stumps will need to be ground out at a later date because the ground is very wet. That additional service was quoted at $300. It was a little pricey, but it was not unexpected given that it was an emergency and they had to put off other jobs to take care of it. I really appreciate what they did and that they cleaned up after themselves. We would definitely use their services again.

My experience with them was just positive. They were pleasant and efficient. Their cleanup was wonderful, you couldn't even tell they've been there.

Great service. Came for estimate on time. Had an emergency and did not show up when scheduled to do the work but called ahead. Worked well with me to reschedule and came on time. Did a great job and cleaned up everything. I will hire them again when I need to prune trees.

They did a great job. They did a good job cleaning up. It took them awhile, but it takes awhile to do that type of thing. They were quick and efficient. They didn't leave any debris around. They took all the wood out. They made it look nice. I will use them again in the future.

They are a good company. The price is a bit high, but they do quality work. They are also very responsive if you ever need them to come back. I like how thorough they are with what they do.

Ben was removing trees from a neighbor's yard one Saturday and I asked him for a quote to trim limbs in my yard. His was the only quote. On an agreed upon date Ben arrived with a crew and they thinned out the dangerous branches and limbs that needed attention. He billed me later in the week. The clean up was completed satisfactorily and all the trimmed material was removed from the premises.

See above. All the men were very respectful and professional. When Big Ben came out to do the estimate, he even offered to "throw in" the palmetto removals (including the stumps) gratis. Although it was a lot of money, I feel that the cost to operate the numerous trucks and machines, and the ample manpower, justified it.

We were very pleased. When they left, you would have never known they were there. They cleaned up very good. Everything was great.

They showed up almost immediately after I called for an estimate. The price was reasonable, so I went ahead and requested service. They came and got the job done within 48 hours. There was a huge difference in the backyard after they and quot;cleaned-upand quot; the trees. I'm very happy that they were so prompt in getting the job done, especially since we had bad storms the following weekend. Ultimately, they saved us from a huge mess! Notably, this is the second time we've used Big Ben's. We had the same experience when we used them then. They offered the best price and were ready to get the job done quick. During that job, they were grinding one of the stumps on the property and hit our cable line (it was unmarked). We weren't home at the time and probably wouldn't have ever known, but the responsible employee made sure he stuck around until we came home to tell us about the problem and took full responsibility. The bottom line is that everyone makes mistakes, but a good, honest person will let you know--I just thought it was very responsible and professional of the employee to tell us what had happened.

Ben Geiger, the owner, came to the house and looked at the two trees that needed to be removed. He also suggested some pruning of the other trees in the yard. The estimate was slightly higher than the actual cost on the day the services were performed. I was called the day before to let me know what time the crew would arrive. They were 10 minutes early. The three man crew introduced themselves and we did a walk through the yard to make sure they understood the the work I needed and to confirm which trees were on our lot. During the course of the day different equipment showed up to remove the sections of the two trees that were removed and to grind up the stumps. All limbs from the trees that were trimmed and taken down were ground in their chipper shredder and the yard was raked. They left the yard looking perfect. They were done exactly at the predicted time, seven hours later. We were very pleased with the job.

It went well; set up appt. and came on day as promised. For a large job he did well and gave the best estimate because he had the equipment to handle it.

The people at Big Ben's were amazing. I had been avoiding having the work done for awhile since I knew it would be expensive, but their estimate was reasonable and they were able to do the work within a few days of the estimate. When Ben came out to look at the trees, he gave a thorough explanation of the work they could do, and gave me some background on the types of trees in my yard, which ones may cause problems in the future and which ones I should keep. They came to do the work at 7:45 AM (15 minutes early!) and had three trees on the ground within minutes of arrival - I joked with my wife that they had started their chainsaws and jumped off the truck before it even stopped moving. All six trees were removed within 90 minutes without any problems. Ben brought some serious hardware, including a machine that could lift the trees high into the air, over my fence, and out into the street where they could be loaded onto a truck. They used a chipper to mulch smaller trees and branches, and ground down the stumps until you couldn't even tell a tree had been there. After removing the dead trees, the crew trimmed all our other trees - they look great! They also did a fantastic job cleaning up, the yard was actually cleaner after they left than when they first got there. Every guy on the crew seemed to be an expert, they all did their jobs very well and I just can't say enough good things about my experience with Big Ben's. I will definitely use them again in the future.

To my horror, Ben deliberately removed a large limb that he definitely knew I did not want removed. We had discussed this limb in particular. He strongly and repeatedly recommended that it needed to be trimmed, as it extended over the roof and he believed it to be dangerous; I repeatedly said NO. He understood this, and the written contract only called for removal of the other trees. However, he obviously decided to disregard my decision. I strongly suspect, in fact, that he returned to my property at a later date to remove the limb, as I did not notice until later. The removal of this limb decreased the beauty of my yard, probably increased my utility bills by reducing the shade over the roof, and really upset me. When I complained to the BBB, Ben initially lied and tried to brush off the matter, but finally after repeated pestering by the BBB paid me $250, saying however that "the limb needed to be removed." !!! His prior recommendation to me had been to PRUNE it, not remove it.

We found this company from your website. They were very professional. They were very friendly and polite. They had a very clear and precise presentation. They checked out the trees on our property and gave us an estimate. We were pleased that they showed up on time. The only thing we were not real fond of was their price quote. We did feel that it was rather high.

We have some beautiful huge old Southern oak trees in our yard and they are in constant need of care. Ben is an Arborist, so he is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to what we need. My trees have never looked better and I give him excellent grades on both punctuality and clean up.
