Beautiful Blooms Landscaping

My experience with Beautiful Blooms was superb! The crew came on time, neatly dressed with a complete assembly of the correct tools, all in excellent working order. The foreman ran the small bulldozer with expert precision, being careful to first ask where my neighbors' property began and from then on, never straying or causing collateral damage. When needed, I was consulted for confirmation or clarification of instructions and asked frequently if the work so far met with my approval. I, my property and that of my neighbors was treated with respect and concern for excellence in the finished product. Not only would I use them again but I say emphatically that I WILL use them again and have recommended them to friends and neighbors. Contractors who are genuinely concerned with client satisfaction, keeping their good name and giving real value for money are, in my experience, rare. To me, Beautiful Blooms is at the top of this very short list and worth every penny of the money that I spent (which was actually less than quoted.)

It went very well. The whole front of the house looks like new. Some Deer ate the plants under one of the trees so they came out the following week to replace them. The privacy hedges installed along the side of the house are going to be terrific once they grow a bit. There service is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for sometimes and his service was excellent.

Wonderful! I would give this efficient group an A+++. The owner was very helpful and assured me that his staff was willing to take care of whatever we needed to do. The workers were awesome! I cannot say enough about the willingness of these guys to take on any job that they knew would add to the beauty of my landscape when they were finished. The finished product blew me away! It is beautiful and manageable. I gave the price a B, but honestly I would pay it again without a qualm. It was worth every penny to walk out and see my yard restored to better than its former glory. They find a good price for the plants that they use. The plants are in good condition. They plant them very carefully and very well. They continue with the maintenance program. They make sure everything is well taken care of.

I wanted to get some yard work done. I went to Angies list for advise. Beautiful Blooms was on the top of the list. I made an appointment and the owner (Daniel) came over to give me a price. Granted, there were a lot of different things that needed to be done. But very few tools, mostly labor. No lawn equipment except for some trimmers, clippers, a rake and blower. Daniel quoted me a price of $1659.41. He said that it would take about a day and a half and that it would cost $1000.00 a day for two laborers, plus a fuel surcharge, a delivery charge (I still don't know what had to be delivered) and a few other material costs. That comes to $500.00 a day for each laborer. I know lawyers that don't make much more than that. As a matter of fact Dan, would you give me a job? (if you're not too mad at me for this review) I would love to make that kind of money! I also asked him "What if the job only takes one day?" to which Daniel replied, "That's how I make money". Dan, this is yard work, you're not throwing a football on Sunday. I should have known he was going to be expensive when he pulled up in a new F350 adorned with custom business logos and handed me a magnetic business card. It's kind of obvious he did not want to do the work, but I would have appreciated him just saying that instead of trying to overcharge me for the job. He (the owner Daniel) was very knowledgeable and I would have probably used him, even on a regular basis, but not at these prices. I almost even called him to see if he was kidding or maybe reconsider his price but, he gave me the estimate in writing so I don't think he was kidding. And now, I won't give him another shot at this job or any others. I almost didn't even write this review but, I come here for advise on who is legit, etc. Again, Beautiful Blooms was top of the list. It seemed like a good place to start. The owner Daniel, acted like he has enough work and if he takes on more, it's gonna cost somebody. Plus, it would have taken him almost a month to get to me. I hate to speak negatively about Beautiful Blooms, but as a user of Angies Lists, I have relied on her and others on this site to help me make informed decisions and felt like my experience should be shared. Sorry BB, I'm sure you do good work just not for me.

He was very nice and they came. I gave them a good rating when they first started. I really do not have anything against them. I was satisfied to one point, but not to another. The guy who runs the company is really nice and what they promised to do to my yard they really did not do. I do not have grass in my now and I really need to get someone in here that will do it. To me it started off as a really good job and then it deteriorated over time.

All lanscaping and hardscaping jobs were finished on time and in budget.

Very nice to talk to....when we need work done we would give them the op unity to bid on the job

Wow! If I had the energy and equipment to do this myself it still would have taken me several weeks of back-breaking work to rake off all those leaves and trim back all the stuff that needed to be trimmed. This company does my yard the way I would do it. They left my yard in wonderful shape and am ready to plant Spring flowers this weekend. Worth every penny - I highly recomend them.

I found Dan and Beautiful Blooms Landscaping through the Angie's List. I am very happy to say that Dan exceeded my expectations in every category. Dan is prompt, professional and he did a great job keeping me up to date. He came out and walked me through his ideas for transforming the property. He quickly provided me with the cost of the materials as well as the labor. Beautiful Blooms removed old shrubs, trees, plants, and grass from my yard. He then transformed the property with beautiful landscaping making the property look completely new. The job was done as scheduled and at the exact cost as quoted. The job was completed last week and we have already received several complements. I already recommended Beautiful Blooms to a relative where he also performed work. Based on the quality, I have now hired him to maintain my yard. I highly recommend Beautiful Blooms for your landscaping work.

Beautiful Blooms came out to give me an estimate on restoring my overgrown yard. The owner was on time, friendly and professional. Unfortunately, his estimate to completely restore my yard (weeding, trimming, tree pruning and all) - was out of my price range ($500). I agree, it would take a lot to fully restore my yard, but this seemed high to me. I decided to tackle the job myself and I will say that it has taken many, many, many hours of my time. So maybe his quote wasn't that far off, but I just couldn't pay that much. If I had thought of it at the time I may have asked what he could do within my budget instead of getting a full quote for everything.

We called Dan Sekula after reviewing several vendors on Angie's List and some information about them online gleaned from websites. We delayed the first appointment because of rain, but Dan game few days later. It was actually raining during the visit and walk through our small yard. We discussed key elements of the landscaping should low maintenance because my wife and I did not spend much time maintaining our yard. Plants needed to survive with little assistance from us. He took notes about our goals involving low maintenance of the yard. Dan indicated he was going on vacation next week and would get back to us with plan after he returned. He called a week and few days later and came by and discussed his ideas. We felt that his plan captured our main goal of low maintenance. He indicated he would spray the yard to kill weeds and prevent them for germinated for while. They did this within week and returned in about week to execute the plan that was completed in two afternoons by Dan and crew of three. Each day they arrived about mid-afternoon and worked until early evening. Front yard was done on first day and backyard was completed on second day. We were satisfied with project and paid Dan the remainder of bill. We gave one half deposit after we agreed on the plan because all materials that had to be ordered. The reason for evaluating price as B is we did not get competitive bids and we feel comfortable with value we received, but could not determine if it was "A" grade because of no competitive bids. We very satisfied with the results and we gain a lot of curb appeal with this project. We would use Dan Sekula from Beatiful Blooms Landscaping again and we would recommend him to friends. We plan to have him do an annual update to replace flowers and determine what other maintenance with be appropriate.

We contacted Beautiful Blooms Landscape Design for an estimate of landscape design. Dan called us back promptly (it was a holiday) and scheduled the visit. He called to confirm and let us know he was on the way. He was on time, professionally dressed, very knowledgeable, and had the estimate finished on site (most have to go back to the office). He has a truly beautiful design for our yard and at a reasonable price for our budget. It is clear that he listened to our needs, wants, and concerns during the visit and did not come in with a planned standard design. Custom designs, prompt friendly service, and reasonably priced quote this company is worth the time for the estimate.

Continuing relationship. Does what he says and when he says he will do it. Very dependable.

It all went quite well. They were very prompt and professional, and gave a thorough breakdown of the services they would provide, as well as the price. He has a very pleasant personality, and took time to explain everything to me, which is especially important to me as a senior citizen.

I called and left a message for Dan explaining I needed assistance with edging and weeding my lawn. I have a large yard (nearly an acre) and can run my riding mower myself but need help with edging, weeding the flower beds. Dan called me back promptly. I explained again I just needed assistance with the weeding and edging. He came by that same day just as he said he would. We walked the yard, I explained what I needed (edging and weeding). He told me after seeing the whole yard that he is very busy and wouldn't be able to fit just the weeding and edging into his schedule and perferred to do the whole yard including the mowing. He gave me a price of 400.00/mth to mow, weed and edge weekly duing the summer months. I explained that is not in my budget right now. He declined the job because he is too busy to fit in the edging and weeding and really needs a job the will "generate income". Dan was very nice and honest... but seriously? He was not too busy, he just wanted more money. Dan probably does a good job but I will never know. I will never call him back.

I gave him a budget of about $500.00 and he explained that it would cost more than that just to send his crew out. He was very honest with me, but I ended up going with another company based on the estimate.

Dan and his crew arrived on time and started working immediately. By the end of the day, I had an amazing garden in my formerly barren front yard. Beautiful Blooms brought everything with them at the start of the job eliminating any unnecessary delays. They were very professional and completed all of the work on time and within budget. Dan even returned the next day to put down more mulch without charging us! We are extremely happy with the results and have received multiple compliments about the landscaping.

Him and his team did a great job!! They showed up when they said they would, worked around my schedule and returned to do a fantastic job the following week as agreed to. I only rated the price as "good" because I haven't had a fair opportunity to evaluate over the long term but wanted to write something positive about the service I have received so far.

I was a little hesitant to leave a message as the phone number I called did not have a name on the voice mail, but it turned out to be the right number and I was contacted in a timely manner. As I have never used them before they came out and walked my yard with me to see what needed to be done. We contracted to have the work done on Tuesday and they showed up as expected and did a great job. My yard was cleaned up, mowed, edged and all the dead bushes are gone. In addition they weeded the front flower beds and just detailed my yard to perfection. They removed the leaves from my yard and even put some of the mulched oak leaves in my azalea bushes to fertilize them which is exactly what I would do. In a nutshell - these folks do the yard the way I would do it. Kudos - and I will definately be using them again.

These guys did a great job. They were quick to come out and give me an estimate. They were fast to suggest good solutions to my landscape needs. They did the job quickly and well with good attention to detail. Would definitely use them again.

They took out the old plantings and added new plants that don't need a lot of maintenance. They are growing like crazy and are beautiful!

Very good and very professional. They cleaned up my entire yard and made it look absolutely beautiful.
