Great. Determined to be the bearing which is extremely expensive to replace. Advised just to continue to use as is since it could be years before it goes out. Fantastic and thorough service.

Bob called ahead to let me know he was on the way. When I told him that our dryer did not produce any heat he suggested it could be the heating element. He was able to install the new heating element right away and was done within an hour of the phone call. The dryer now produces heat and no more troubles.

The technician arrived on time as I was previously notified the day before. The technician was professional, personable and extremely knowledgeable, diagnosing my problem in a matter of minutes. He recommended a course of action to repair and cost to fix my problem. I agreed and he did as he had described and fixed my problem. Refrigerator is no cooling very nicely and the ice maker is producing ice. I would definitely call them or refer them to a friend with any of my future appliance repair needs.

Didn't fix it. had 2 chances and charged over $200

Everything went great. I was told what needed to be replaced, the part was ordered, and came back a few days later to install the part. B & N even worked with me on scheduling my appointments so I didn't have to miss any work. Great work and honest!

Very friendly and professional. Found the problem, and provided estimate. I did not go ahead with the work for the sole reason that we deemed it not cost effective to repair versus the value of the machine. B&N will be the first call I make if (when) I need appliance repair again. $400 listed below is for the repair. They charged a very reasonable $89 service charge, which would have gone toward repair had we moved forward.

Great! Before the repairman came over to perform the repair, he got the parts necessary to change so he wouldn't have to make two trips and inconvenience me. He was very considerate of my time and money. He arrived when he said he would and performed the repair work on both appliances in a timely manner and was very professional. Best appliance repair I have ever experienced! B &N called when they were on their way, showed up early, diagnosed the problem very quickly, had the part on the truck so the repair was made right then and the price was very fair! Wish everyone had their customer service skills and talent!

I called right away, and he came out the next day. Hoe not only fixed it without a problem, but the bill was unbelievably low! Before he came out we were deciding on how much was worth just going out and buying a new one, as we thought the bill would be over $500. I couldn't believe he fixed it for under $150. We will never call anyone else!

Bob was fantastic! Our refrigerator completely stopped working a few days before Christmas. He came out to check it the day after we called (they were slammed), ordered the part needed right away and fixed it all before our family arrived in town for Christmas! He was polite, knowledgeable and professional. We will use B&N again and refer them to our friends. They were life savers during a busy time of the year!

I have used this company twice before, (dishwasher repair in 2013, dryer repair in 2015) and received the same prompt service as this time with my washing machine. I left a phone message in the late afternoon on 6/23 and Bob called early on 6/24 saying he could come sometime before noon, and then called when he was on the way, about 11AM. He quickly diagnosed the problem, replaced the broken coupling (and showed it to me) and was done in a timely fashion. Bob is a good guy; always pleasant and knowledgeable. I've had no issue with previous repairs and I would recommend B&N Appliance Repair to anyone needing a dependable appliance repair company!

I had an issue with a leak from my washing machine. When I called B&N about it, they quickly diagnosed the problem over the phone, told me which part to order off of amazon, and how to go about fixing it myself. It was not a difficult fix and took me only about 20 minutes to do. While they didn't perform the work themselves, they gave me their knowledge and experience free of charge. Not only did they save me a lot of money when they didn't have to, I now know how to fix the washer myself if the issue should reappear later down the road. I highly recommend them and will certainly call back the next time I need appliance repair.

Bob knew exactly what to do and accomplished the task in less than one hour. The workmanship was excellent and the price very fair. Bob will be my "go to" guy for any of my appliances not under warranty. On a 5 point scale,I would rate him a 6 for his workmanship, promptness, and professionalism. It is easy to understand why he is so highly rated on Angies's List.

It was a difficult decision whether to purchase a new dishwasher or repair my 8 year old KitchenAid due to the cost factor. However, rather than hassle with shopping and a new install and carry off of the old, I decided on the repair. This dishwasher has performed perfectly for 8 years and I have been very happy with it. I would not at this point want to put the same money out (over $800) for a new KitchenAid at this point. Repairman was very courteous, prompt and efficient.

Big combo nuker and convection oven (2 units all in one big heavy box) needed repair, big oven would not heat on any setting. This happened following a self clean. There is a thermal fuse that often blows from the self-clean heat, known issue with the Kitchen Aid. Ordered the fuse but could not get the unit out of the cabinet. Bob came, grabbed one side and gave it a jerk, and it moved. a minute later it was out. He did some disassemble so he could access the fuse, tested and verified it was blown, replaced with mine. Reassembled, tested, shoved back in cabinet, tidied all up, made a last test of all functions. Very pleasant and knowledgeable guy. Only (very small) negatives were: Took 24 hours to get a call back. And then about 9 days for the service appointment. However, he is a one man show, excellent reputation, so for me, waiting was worthwhile. The nuker does include a regular convection oven, and I use my Big Green Egg for most stuff anyway, so this didn't kill me. I think the guy is worth waiting for. As for the price, it seems high, but this kind of business has a lot of overhead, and really skilled appliance techs are a rare thing these days. All in all, I say it's worth it.

My refrigerator stopped working on a Sunday afternoon. We checked that the unit was plugged in, we cycled the breakers and then called the warranty provider. They initially told me we would have to wait a week and a half for service (!). After extensive phone calls I was approved to use a local provider and get reimbursed. I went to Angies list and chose B&N from the top shelf. The out-going message included the owner's cell phone so I tried and was rewarded with a pick-up. After a description he suggested that my scenario sounded more electrical source then appliance related. He asked that I check the outlet thoroughly with a small appliance and -low and behold -the outlet itself was going bad. One socket working while the other was not. He saved my food and any more loss of my time waiting for a service person and calling warranty services. Thank you!!!

Bob was very professional and prompt. He had to come out several times to fix the issue at no fault to himself. I called him out to work on the dishwasher initially and asked him to work on the refrigerator. He was able to fix the refrigerator with a simple fix. GE was called out earlier to fix the refrigerator with a cost to come out and they never really fixed the issue. I would call on Bob again to help out with an appliance issue.

Called B&N and Bob came out within two days--my refrigerator had stopped working. He knew right away what was wrong and fiddled with it and it worked. He told me to watch it over the next few days to see if it would continue to work--said it was 50/50 whether I would need a new thermostat. Recommended that I not put anything in fridge/freezer for these few days. Did not charge me. A few days later, it went out again. Called and they ordered the part. Came in before expected and Bob came out and replaced it. Took a short time to replace--he gave me the old part.
