Description of Work: They were on time and provided good service onsite. I rated them down slightly for the fact that they didn't check to make sure the pin in my sliding door went back in after they installed new glass in them but they did come back out and fix the issue.

Description of Work: Great price, good install, had to come out again because sliding door pin wouldn't go in after they replaced glass. Also couldn't give me firm estimate of time outside of saying morning or afternoon but did call before they came.

Description of Work: Replaced large double pane window in kitchen and disposed of old cracked window. Work and demeanor were very professional.

Description of Work: Glass shattered in my sliding glass door. They came out w/in 24 hours of my call. Standard glass size didn't fit, so they measured. Explained it be 3-5 Business days to get it in. It came in and the service specialist who came out to install it was prompt, professional and a hard worker. But, when he went to install it, the glass DID NOT FIT. It had not been properly measured. He called it into the office. The office ordered it again and there was no urgency on the office's part to try to rush the order. It ended up being another 7 days and then I was having to call the office to get updates. At one point, I was told.. oh we thought it would be on the truck today but it wasn't. Maybe it will be here tomorrow. On the morrow, they thought it would be in by 4 or so that afternoon, but, they wouldn't be able to send anyone out to install it. It was a Friday. I asked if someone could come on Saturday. I was told, they didn't work on the Weekend. It was finally installed nearly 4 weeks after I made the first call. I had to ask for my Angie's discount (and it wasn't applied on the invoice so, I changed the invoice and paid them based on the discount I should have received). The 2nd guy they sent out was very nice, but less experienced. But, the door didn't feel quite right when it slid and the seal on the glass looked like there were a lot of bubbles in the seal. I asked them to come back again and check it. Which is about all these (another pair) did, but did make the door slide like it should. | |Generally, the installers that come to your home are great. As for the office side of things, there is no sense of urgency even when there clearly should be. I asked to be called at certain times for an update. I wouldn't get a call and would call them. It was very frustrating. |

Description of Work: The workers that came out to measure and prepare an estimate were late and unprofessional. I did not receive my estimate until three weeks later when I called for it. They were way overpriced and in my opinion, not capable of performing the job required. I wouldn't have gone with them even if they were the lowest price. I was completely turned off by the workers who gave the estimate.

Description of Work: During two bath remodels I asked them to remove and discard a 5 ft. mirror and remove a 7 ft. mirror in order to cut a replacement for the smaller one. They came promptly and removed both then returned about a week later and cut perfect 5 ft. mirror out of the larger one. It was installed perfectly. Crew was great. Would surely use them again if needed.

Description of Work: They made 10 glass shelves for a project I was doing at home.

Description of Work: We called this company based on 1 report on Angie's List, to do a shower door replacement. Two years ago another glass company told me I would have to spend $3,000 to redo my whole door and panel area, because "it would be impossible to match the material" in my older home, but when Baker Glass came out, they had no problem with simply replacing the door. They did not try to sell me more than I needed. I went to a local aluminum company to find a match for the size and style of my door and Baker Glass brought the door to my home and installed it within an hour. (Another company I had called for a quote told me where to go to find a door that might match mine. Unfortunately, they never followed up on calls to come and give me a quote. Baker Glass came out within a day.) The door replacement was part of a project by another company that was refinishing the shower stall tile. A question about fitting the new door came up during their installation, and the project could not proceed until Baker could come out and double check for a fit. Two installers from Baker came out to my home within a few hours, inbetween other installations, and were very gracious about the sudden call. I had already changed an appointment due to the ongoing project, and had to change it once again, but the men from Baker who answered my calls were very professional and patient. The installers were great and I was grateful for their honesty, promptness, and expertise. I only wish I had found these guys two years ago.
