Wish I could rate them a zero. Charged me $404 dollars to load stuff from my storage unit and dump it in the living room of my new house. Broke several glass items. Stayed on the clock while they had to switch out drivers because the driver they sent couldn’t get base clearance even though I told the person that booked the reservation that we would be going on base. The majority of my items were coded to which room they go in and none of that happened. After they left I had to move all of the things they left in the living room to bedrooms. Should have saved some money and just rented a Uhaul. Check out Busy Bee movers - we used them for unloading our truck of furniture after the terrible experience with ATI and they were awesome and less than half the price.

Very unprofessional, I’ll not recommend them at all, they’re don’t care for your property, they will destroy your property without any regard for, they lie to you by telling you they’re going to use blankets just to charge you more they didn’t, I had to call the owner twice for him to locate the movers, because they weren’t showing up, attitude from the movers and on top they ask you to tip them! Be Aware if you do not want your furniture to be scratch, broken, damaged and mishandle DO NOT USE THIS PEOPLE GET SOME ONE ELSE MORE PROFESSIONAL this people are not professionals

Buyer/Customer Beware – I will NEVER use this company again. The move started off okay; the movers were on time. He wrote the time on some paper but I didn’t “see” the paperwork. They had me show them the rooms and/or items I was wanting them to move. After completing the walk through and beginning the move, the “lead” mover asks “will you bless me if I bless you?” already alluding to a tip at the end of the move. I mentioned at that point that I was moving into a brand new house and we would see as long as there was no damage to the walls and/or floors, etc. Again, still haven’t seen or signed any paperwork. There were a couple of issues – they couldn’t get the hoses off the spickets so they left them, they couldn’t disassemble a bed or remove the last bolt from a bed that had already been pretty much disassembled by a teenager. My husband, who was leaving, had to come back and assist the mover(s) in removing the bolt/screw. They did point out issues with some of the furniture as it was being moved, all of which we were aware of – some issues with the finish on a bed, etc. It took approximately 3 hours for them to load the truck after breaks, phone calls, etc. At the drop off location, it appeared they were rushing. They failed to take apart a desk at the pick up location which I was surprised they were able to get out of the room in one piece. When trying to get it into the new location, they weren’t as fortunate and damaged a wall, leaving the desk sitting in an area where it was not supposed to be for me to handle later. To make this portion short, all items were unloaded and a call was made to the boss to secure payment during which they ensured I was not talking in the background. Once through, I mentioned the wall again to the person who appeared to be the “lead” mover. He said he would take a picture of the damage (which he showed me), send it to his boss and his boss would contact me to come out and repair. Believing this was true, I tipped the movers and they left even leaving behind their trash – a large TV box that had been on the truck. Again I received no paperwork and had signed nothing. After them leaving, I noticed some damage on furniture which was not there before the move – knicked corners/sides on dressers, scratches on a table, etc. After a day or two of hearing nothing from the owner, Al, I texted him and asked him about the damage. He questioned me as to what damage and mentioned that no one had mentioned anything. He starts talking about a contract which I told him I never saw nor signed and I questioned why I had not received any paperwork. He disputed everything I said and kept talking about this contract which I told him on multiple times I never received, signed and/or it was never discussed with me. I asked to be sent a copy of this contract. He was very rude and lacked customer service. Not once did he apologize for the damage which was caused or offer to repair it as his worker indicated that he would. It took a couple of days and after my asking again about this “contract”, I was finally sent a copy. And I hadn’t signed it…someone else did. The owner began to ask me for my license when I told him I didn’t sign that paperwork. I actually “sent” it but it didn’t go through and realized that I am not responsible for proving the information (the truth) I gave to the owner. I told him I would be happy to bring my license to him as proof that I had not signed anything. Bottom line, the customer is always right (and in this case, I definitely am) and if you want good customer service and your property well taken care of, I definitely would not suggest this company.

These guys came HIGHLY recommended to me by a co-worker, and I was very much looking forward to working with them. I knew my house presented some challenges (one flight of stairs to enter the house, one flight of stairs inside the house to get to loft/living room with heavy furniture in the loft), so I wanted to call to get an estimate based on these details. On Wednesday, October 7, 2015, I called ATI Movers and spoke with Al Cosar. I explained my situation, giving the pertinent details: the stairs, heavy furniture, 2BR/2BA home, 1200sf, date of move, addresses. He assured me that a 2-man team could do the job for $70/hour, that the stairs would not be a problem. He requested that I send him an email with all of the details and he would respond to confirm. I sent him the following VERY DETAILED email: Good afternoon, My name is [redacted] and I spoke with someone earlier this afternoon about scheduling a move for the afternoon of Saturday, October 17, 2015. This is the requested email. Our current address is [redacted], and the new address is [redacted]. According to Google maps, it's 7.5 miles. Our house is a 1200sf 2BR home up one flight of stairs to enter with a second flight of stairs inside to a small loft/living room. A list of the furniture to be moved follows, as well as the typical boxes to be expected. We will disassemble furniture where possible and consolidate all of the boxes, lamps, and small furniture to the spare bedroom and have everything packed and ready to go that afternoon. There is an exit from that bedroom with a half flight of stairs that would be easier to navigate than the front stairs. Furniture includes: In the loft upstairs: 2 end tables, sectional couch (2 pieces), ottoman, armchair, 30" TV, TV stand In the master bedroom: California king mattress and box springs with rails and brass headboard, dresser w/mirror, night stand In the sunroom next to MB: stationary exercise bike, Bowflex-type home gym In the dining room: dining room table (3 pieces disassembled), 6 chairs, 2 tall china cabinets, wooden desk In the office: two corner computer desks, book case, display case, foyer table, 2 rolling desk chairs In the spare bedroom: futon frame and mattress, papsan chair (2 pieces), corner computer desk, side table, two small bookshelves In the garage/laundry room: washer, dryer, lawnmower, wrought iron table and chairs, round glass tabletop, barbecue grill Please let me know if you have any questions. I can be reached here via email (fastest response) or on my cell phone [redacted] (may not be able to answer during work hours, but please leave a message). Thank you so much. You come very highly recommended and I greatly look forward to doing business with you! Sincerely, [redacted] Al was very quick to respond to my email with the following: Please reply back confirming you have received this email and we agree on all terms please. We can move you as discussed on October 17th Saturday, starting at around 2-4pm. (As soon as we are done with our previous job that morning we will call you with an exact time!) IF Your Moving DATE CHANGES PLEASE CALL ME ASAP to REARRANGE! THERE IS NO PENALTY! We will call you when movers are on their way to your address to give you a heads up. But you can always reach me if you need to at below contact info. Your rate will be $70 an hour for 2 Men Team. There is also a onetime Fuel/ travel surcharge fee of $40. IMPORTANT: (If any of the locations is on 3rd floor or higher with NO elevators then your labor rate will increase $30 more an hour) *So far this year we have been averaging 2 bedrooms for 2-4 hours, 3 bedrooms for 3-6 hours 4 bedrooms for 4-8 hours The level of organization really matters with the time we spend so we suggest every customer to pack properly to help with a smooth move. Please read the moving tips link on top right at our website -www.atimovers.com - to make your move faster and smoother! * We have a 2 hour Minimum charge on each job. * We prefer payment as cash but If you want to use credit card then there is a %3.75 processing/ merchant fee we have to imply on top of the total. * Time will start as you sign the contract once movers arrive at your starting location, and it will end once they deliver the last piece. We will prorate the exact minutes and will not round up the time to help you save most amount of money. * If you have an item weighing over 150lbs please specify what it is and dimensions (If your Gym equipments and BOWFLEX are over 150lbs we need to know it in advance!) There will be NO BREAKS and if there is those times will be deducted at the end.We provide assembling and dis-assembling of furniture and beds at no additional cost! We have limited insurance and show extreme care when we handle your belongings however we recommend all of our customers to have us shrink wrap your items, please get a shrink wrap from any uhaul or Walmart store ($15), we use extra padded blankets to secure but it is always smart to have that extra protection on items such as TVs, dressers, cabinets, antiques and etc... If you want us to provide the shrink wrap for you please let us know on your reply and it will be an additional $20 charge for the supply. You are welcome to tip the movers if you like the service but it is not a must of course. Do not feel obligated to unless you feel 100% satisfied. Our goal is to give you the best service possible, safe and secure! Thanks for choosing us and supporting Family Owned local small businesses. AL Cosar Ph: 904 713 3677 www.atimovers.com "BBB Accredited Moving Company" "ATI MOVERS, LLC is registered with STATE OF FLORIDA as a MOVER. Reg. No: IM2167" I replied to the inquiry as to the weight of the Bowflex bench, whether it was over 150lbs because there would be an extra charge if so. I advised that it was not, sending a photo from the internet of a similar bench. I got no response to that email. On Friday, October 16, I sent an email advising that I had a last minute appointment for all day the following day so I would not be available during the move. Instead I gave my live-in boyfriend's name and cell phone number so that he could be the point of contact. My appointment on Saturday, October 17, the day of the move, was supposed to end at 5pm, however we were able to wrap things up early and I was leaving there around 2:45 that afternoon. My phone had been off all day and I turned it on to find these texts from my boyfriend: "Movers are not sure they can get it all in one trip" "Movers just bailed" "Said their truck wasn't big enough, they didn't bring enough guys, and we're too disorganized" "And to reschedule when we're sorted and they can bring a bigger truck with more guys" I was LIVID. I called him back for clarification and he reiterated what he'd said in the texts. They'd arrived, he walked them through the house and they'd said, "You guys have a lot of stuff." I called the company and Al answered the phone. He said that he needed to speak with his guys to see what happened and he would call me back. After waiting almost an hour, he had not called back. I called him again, but he did not answer. I called again and this time he picked up. He said that he was told that his guys were asked to pack up the things we'd not packed and told me that they are movers, not packers. He also said that there were "safety concerns" that he would not elaborate on and that he was refusing service to us. By this time, it was almost 4pm in the afternoon, so we had to scramble to find and rent a moving truck and then beg some friends to help us. We were moving our own stuff until almost midnight on Saturday and all day the next day as well. I tried to organize the house as best as we could, putting all of the boxes together in each room and out of the way for them to move the furniture. Yes, there were unpacked items, but at no point were they ever asked to take care of those for us. They were requested to move the furniture and the MANY packed boxes. "Too much stuff" and "not enough men" are invalid excuses, because as you can see, I sent a very detailed email with what to expect. I will never use these guys and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone else. They're cheap and you get what you pay for. Fortunately, we did not HAVE TO be out this weekend and we were able to find someone to help us, but it very easily could have completely screwed us. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
Description of Work: They bailed on us!!! So they did nothing but leave us in a lurch!!!
