Excellent. He quickly started on our our house after Hurricane Matthew and we haven't had any problems since. Very responsive and courteous. I would highly recommend.

Found Armor on Angie's List and contacted through this website. I got a response quickly, connected by phone and Steve came to take a look at the job in the next few days. He knew the best crew members for this project, which had some risk and customizations involved. The work was done that same day, which is unheard of. The workers were professional, did a beautiful job, and the cost was reasonable considering the quick delivery and quality of work. Would hire again and give reference.

Went well for weather conditions. We experience a lot of rain during the repair. With the rain Lenny was only able to work partial days. Everything was covered with tarps so I didn't have any additional water damage. He worked on the project when I was unavailable to see the damage so he sent pictures to keep me in the loop. Additional damaged beyond the quote was discovered and he work with me to get that resolved as well. I have an additional quote for the next phase. This wasn't as critical and will be scheduled later this year when funds become available.

Armor sent an independent contractor that does minor roof repairs. The IC was honest and worked well but he discovered that there was damage to the trusses and could not go farther. He covered everything up very well and said he would get me references for an engineer and a contractor that could do the repair. Several months went by without hearing from Armor. I found a contractor myself (on Angies list} I agreed to pay Armors IC for the work he did. I cannot rate Armor for roof work as they did not do anything except send the IC. The owner of Armor was pleasant and apologetic for the communication breakdown. This review is not an indictment of his work as a roofer and other Angie's List members should try Armor for regular roof surface repairs and replacement.

When I read the summary of this company, I was under the impression that the owner would be involved in overseeing my work. That didn't happen at all. I dealt with someone from his company who was nice enough and seemed to know what he was doing. He found the source of the leak and quoted $1,200 depending on what he found once he got into it, as that could affect the cost if it was worse than he thought. Fair enough. I never received a written estimate that itemized how $1,200 was arrived at. How much for labor? How much for materials? I had no idea. They did provide evidence of GL and WC after a couple of reminders. We then had a number of issues scheduling the work, granted most were not their fault since the weather didn't cooperate. On the only day that worked for them, my daughter was graduating HS that afternoon. So rather than try to deal with both, I pushed if off till after the holiday weekend. On the day we agreed, the person I was dealing with had a legit personal issue he needed to deal with. I guess there was no one else at the company able to work on our leak. We agreed to start work the following day at 9 am. 9 am came and went, and I waited for an hour, with no communication. Frankly, that was the straw that broke the camel's back. If you tell me 9 am, be there at 9 am or at least call me if you are going to be late. As it turns out, the person I was working with had just arrived at the owner's location around 10 am and was taking care of some paperwork and materials and would be out later that morning. I didn't get the feeling that this was a priority for the company or that they are set up to handle small jobs. The only communication I received from the owner was a quick call that someone would be out to look at my roof. To quote: "I quote every job personally and supervise every job personally." That didn't happen and there was no effort by the company to fix my roof when their employee wasn't available. From my perspective, it seems as if it just wasn't a priority for them. So, I'm getting a quote from another company.

Mr. Kelly was a true professional, from start to finish. When I was shopping around for quotes, he gave me a folder full of referrals, photos, etc that was WAY more professional than the other stuff I'd received. I make a point of mentioning that only because it was foreshadowing of what was to come. He stayed in contact through the whole process, making sure I knew what to expect and how everything would play out. The whole job was done in two days, and after correcting a simple mistake found my the city's inspector, passed with no further problems. Esthetically, their work looks great....nice straight & clean lines everywhere, evenly spaced. Now my house has ridge vents that help let hot air out of the attic and lower our AC bill...not to mention my homeowners insurance went down thanks to the new roof! When they were finished, they did a good job of cleaning up the mess. Overall, very satisfied with my choice!

Steve had the job done in two days. 18 months later a leak appeared in the dining room after a heavy thunderstorm. I called Steve at 7pm and he called me back in 20 minutes. He was out the next day and found loose flashing. He repaired it that day before the next rains came in. There was no charge because of the warranty he honored. He stands behind his work.

I developed a leak in my roof and wasn't sure if the roof was repairable or if it would need to be redone. Steve Kelly was very prompt in returning my call and setting up an appointment with his repair specialist Lenny to come out and assess the problem. The roof is near the end of it's expected lifespan so I was given estimates on both a repair or a re-roofing. I decided to start with the repair which Lenny completed. It took a couple of visits to track down the exact location of the leak - Lenny had me call him when it rained and he came over then and after it dried out. I was extremely impressed with the effort Lenny put forward in finding and fixing the roof. He didn't charge any extra to come back and be sure all the problems had been located and fixed and was always on time, professional, friendly, and willing to take the time to explain everything he was doing. Since then I've been through a hurricane and a number of downpour rainfalls without any problems. My roof is on limited time at this point and when it comes time to do a total redo, Armour will be who I call. So impressed with their dedication to getting things right and taking care of their customer. Thank you!

The work was completed as agreed, and in a timely manner. We would definitely hire this company again and will absolutely consider when we are in a position to re-roof.

They came out and gave us an estimate, but it was too high. So they did not do any work.

I recently had my roof reshingled by Armor Roofing. Other than a couple days weather delay there were no problems. Steve Kelly kept me posted about everything - schedule, additional costs incurred (replacing rotted wood), inspections etc. There were essentially no surprises. The roofers were prompt, courteous and cleaned up nicely when the job was done. The roof looks great. We have not had any rain or storms to "test" it but I do not anticipate any problems. He does ask for a deposit prior to starting the job and that is noted in the contract. I definitely recommend this company and would use them again.

We chose Armor Roofing to do our job after reviewing several other local companies. Owner Steve Kelly was extremely good to work with. He described every step of the process and prepared us for it. Steve & his crew were very polite, punctual, precise, hardworking and complete. I won't quote the job $$$ but I will say that the cost was within this area's market range for this type of job. Remember, you get what you pay for.

It went great. I was put in contact with one of the installers Lenny who worked with my plumber to setup the time they could both be out to do the work. He arrived promptly when he said he would and explained the job to me before doing the work. He also took time to look at my other vent stacks to make sure they were in good condition. Overall it was a small job but the service provided was no different than if I got a complete roof. Professional all the way!

Armor Roofing was professional and bent over backwards to get everything done on time. Steve, the owner, was courteous and friendly and listened to my concerns and addressed them completely. His crew worked hard to get the entire job from start to cleanup done in one day, putting in 13 hours. Then Steve came out the next day for final inspection of the work with me. I am completely satisfied with him and his company and the job that was done.

I felt compelled to write a follow-up review for Armor Roofing. We just had a category 3 hurricane come through (Matthew) with unbelievable wind gusts/rain and NOT ONE SHINGLE is out of place. No leaks, no issues, no damage, no concerns!!! I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I am with Steve and his team. You never know for sure the quality of a company's work until that work is put to the test.....it definitely was and passed with flying colors! Steve and team - THANK YOU! Your quality work and high work ethic demonstrates that you truly care about your customers!!

Steve did excellent job, had gave estimate two years ago and honored it. He is real professional and honest person. Job done earlier than I had excepted. I have to give credit to Lucia and his team members. They worked more than 12 hours per day, very nice crew. Well done.

Armor roofing did a great job on the re-roofing of our house. Steve was always available if needed and everything went smoothly. I got several quotes and his was right in the middle. He never bashed any of the other companies that provided me with a quote (which I really appreciate) and he did everything that he said that he would. I would definitely use them again if the need arises.

The crew worked hard all day and finished the job just as it got dark and they took the time to clean up completely before they left. . I had numerous estimates for a reroof of my house and Auto Roofing offered a great product and a great price. Steven was on time for all meetings and answered any questions I had in great detail.. His crew showed up on time and they were professional and hard working . The results were great. Armor Roofing is a great company and I would highly recommend them for any roofing issues.

From our first inquiry, to getting an estimate, to scheduling and completing the re-roof of our home, Stephen Kelly could not have been more responsive and prompt! I am delighted with our new roof and the service we got from Armor Roofing.

Stephen Kelly, the owner, was great to work with. He showed up when promised, and delivered the service within the agreed timeline . His team of roofers were polite, respectful, hard workers. The temps were unbelievably hot yet they pushed through and finished the removal/replacement/cleanup within two days! Since the installation, I've had a few follow-up questions for Stephen and he has ALWAYS been prompt in getting right back to me. I can't tell you how refreshing that is to get that kind of service!! In closing, the roof looks great and we have had ZERO issues with it. I definitely recommend Armor Roofing Company!
