Our experience was topnotch from the initial phone call through completion of the work. Everyone with whom we had contact was extremely professional and courteous, and the work was expertly done. My brother is an electrician so I am very selective, and I would definitely use this company again.

They did a wonderful job, very professional and cleaned up any mess they may have made.

Charles and Jamie arrived on time and worked well together. They also each were working the entire time they were here, there was no one standing around waiting on the other. Very personable, professional and efficient. The only issue was that they did not have the proper tool to torque the alumicons necessary for this applications. One of them actually knew and had a personal torque screwdriver but didn't have it with them. It is my opinion that because there was a lot of aluminum wiring used in this area that every electrician should have the tools to properly install alumicons.

Ricky was at our house on time. He and his partner got to work quickly and even cleaned up before the left. Would definitely recommend American Electrical Contracting

Overall, the service could not have been better. Arrived at exact time scheduled. I explained that my outside security lights had stopped working all at the same time. Mark (the owner) immediately diagnosed the problem and solved. A little background; I had lived in the house approximately 1 year. Mark's first question was, are there any light switches in the house that you don't know what they're for. I actually did have 2 switches in the hallway that seemed to be for nothing. Once he switched them, the lights began working again. Not only this, Mark took the time to show me how to operate these switches, e.g., flip the switch, wait 3 seconds and put in manual mode. Switch again and back to automatic mode. He then had his assistant replace bulbs that weren't functioning. Finally, he looked inside my panel and alerted me that the house had aluminum wiring. He explained that this wasn't necessarily a bad thing, but that I should routinely check the snugness of the wires to my outlets and switches and all would be fine. I can tell you all now, that if I ever have a need for an electrician, this is my go to guy. He is professional, trustworthy and his prices are more than fair.

They were professional. You pay by the half hour then every 15 minutes, but they did not stop at all. They were quick, and cleaned up completely. Very efficient. Came in with their handheld vacuum and dusted the area. Took all of the trash, etc.

I was able to schedule an appointment promptly. The electrician was very pleasant and professional. The job was done quickly and I haven't had a problem since then. I thought the price was reasonable.

Serviceman was prompt, called before coming to house with ETA. Discovered problem quickly and fixed, answered all questions clearly, gave reasonable information regarding quotes for future work. We will be using them again!

Requested a quote for the above work, Gary scheduled a visit within a day and sent a written quote in 2 days. Work started within the window I requested. Ryan and his helper were to arrive

American Electrical did a fantastic job in updating our electrical service. We have an older home, that was in need of a major clean up with old wiring, and a complete box replacement. Because they were so busy with hurricane season repairs, they sent out a team of 3 over the weekend to do the job quickly. Would definitely recommend them for future projects.

Pete Sewesi came out, spent time listening to what we wanted, gave us the quote & installed the next week. He went out of his way to accommodate us - we are very pleased.

Kevin, Bobby and Lionel were fantastic, friendly and thorough. Much thought was put into the layout for the under cabinet lighting to create the best lighting with the least amount of exposed wires and power boxes taking up valuable cabinet space. Several outlets required some extra care when replacing due to age. They made sure everything was up to code and safe for my family in our 30 year old home.

Josh and his assistant were outstanding. Gave us a "heads up call" when they were on the way, were courteous, professional...did a beautiful job. Very pleased. We have always had outstanding service and quality work performed by AEC.

This was actually the second job this week I had with American Electrical Contracting. I had originally called them to do a check of my breaker box/panel as I had some things happening I didn't understand. Josh was my lead technician on my first trip, checked everything I had concerns over and was honest enough to let me know that everything was working properly and explained it all so I understood. I was so pleased with his professionalism and honesty that I set another appointment to have lighting fixtures that were installed by my builder that were not suppose to be, replaced with the correct type. He also let me know the status of a dimmer switch that would not function due to the type lights that were installed once again by my builder. I have many other projects and will definitely be calling American Electrical for all my future needs. It's good to know there are still honest trades such as American Electrical that you can count on that does such great work.

It went well. They didn't have the type of ballasts my outdated lights used but Josh made a call and had a coworker bring the specific ones out. It took no time. Fast response.

Both Chris and Ian were on time and explained everything to us that was to take place. They completed the work in the appropriate time to do such a job and the price was more than fair. Chris and Ian were both very professional and courteous. Nice to meet two young men that take pride in their work. The team was on-time and extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Although we didn't fix the outlets they were able to narrow down where the issue was behind the walls. I have used AEC in the past and I am going to use American Electrical for all my electrical needs in the future.

I called American Electrical around 11:00 a.m. and they were able to get someone out here the same day which surpassed my expectations since it was already late in the morning. The crew that arrived was very courteous and knowledgable. The work was completed quickly and at a fair price. They also cleaned up after themselves which can be a difficult trait to find with some companies. I will definitely call American Electrical again should the need arise.

External breaker box is an external breaker box... I spoke with Sharon she refused to service a single senior lady with cash in hand... Sharon specifically stated they profile against anyone who lives in modular or mobile homes.

Very professional and friendly crew. Explained job tasks and cleaned up prior to leaving.
