Kudos to Ricky at American Electrical Contracting. We can’t recommend him enough. We were lucky enough to have him come to our house yesterday for a service call. He is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented. He and his helper installed LED canister lights in our kitchen, breakfast room, family room, and lanai, along with several dimmers, and then cleaned up the debris from their work. Ricky’s recommendations turned out to be spot on (no pun intended). For example, he thought we would probably want a dimmer in the kitchen because there are so many lights there. This morning we dimmed the kitchen lights when we first got up so as to ease our transition into the day. We will definitely ask for Ricky the next time we need an electrician. We feel very lucky to have discovered him and his company, purely by chance.

(I would much rather be giving a great review.) --American Electrical is unable to keep appointment times for service--- even though I had made the appointment the week before, took off work to be home, CALLED & CONFIRMED with Kathy (the day before) that we were the FIRST call of the day. --Obviously felt our job was not important enough, as they took another job ahead ours and ran late. --They didn't call to let me know. I had to call and find out what was going on when no one showed up. --Told me electrician would arrive (45-1hour LATER than agreed time). Too late-- I had to get back to work, (so that MY customers would not be upset.) --WILL CALL A COMPANY WHO VALUES ITS CUSTOMERS A BIT MORE. To American Electrical: please work on your customer service and communication.

Great work...great guys...great attitude! Not the cheapest electricians, but the not the priciest in Jax either. They hauled away boxes of packing materials from all my new lighting fixtures, cleaned up after themselves...would recommend them to anyone.

I had 6 exterior lights installed in the front yard. The team showed up early to start the work. The job took about 2.5 hours. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves. When night time came, the lights really beautified the house and the palm trees. The wife was excited by the lights. Thanks Lee

Initially, I only wanted to move one switch and put in a motion detector but thought I would go ahead and move a few other switches. They arrived on time, were very professional and they did very good work. Billy noticed a shelf in the garage was coming off the wall and very kindly re-hung the shelf so that it was more secure. There was another man with Billy but, unfortunately, do not remember his name. However, all the work was done promptly by both men and I am very happy with the result. I would definitely recommend American Electrical Contracting and will hire again if/when I need more electrical work done. Great job!

Great service, second time using - will definitely keep using for all electrical needs. Ricky and his teammate were great...very profesional, efficient and skilled. Ricky even called me the next day to make sure I was happy with everything.

Electrician arrived on time and found problem very quickly and corrected it. Discussed some other problems because of aluminum wiring. Set another appointment for him to replace breaker panel box and fix switches and outlets so they are safer.

The work was performed knowledgeably, timely and professionally.
