This company is truly excellent. From the contact on the telephone to the end orf the job, the service was prompt, and the service repair men were efficient and very knowledgeable. The doorbell repair turned out to be more involved than expected, yet they were very thorough in finding out what the problem was and made sure that everything was working correctly. They were friendly and accomodating and I would not hesitate to call American Electrical again for any type of electrical issue.

Went very well. In and out in less than an hour.

I called on a Friday, and was able to set up an appointment for the following Tuesday. The electricians were very professional and took great care to hang a chandelier to my specifications. They covered their work area with a tarp to protect my rug, and were very respectful of my home furnishings. Overall, their customer service and expertise were excellent.

I called the company's office late in the morning and they were out by that afternoon. The two technicians went to work immediately to check all of the switches and outlets for the electrical short. They found it very quickly and corrected the problem. They also provided advice on what caused the problem. Overall, I was very pleased with their work and would call them again.

The electrician was very experienced and knowledgeable. At what appeared to me to be a "birds nest" of wiring, he masterfully, and very meticulously accounted for each wire, and neatly trimmed and connected, and identified all the wires and breakers. He was a true master of the craft, and explained what he was doing all the time. I was fascinated by his professionalism and spent most of the afternoon watching him work. It is so refreshing to find someone who is very good at what they do. The electrician's name was Klay. I will definitely request him by name if I need electrical services in the future. Super job!!!

They arrived and turned on all the devices on the defective circuit to be certain a device was not throwing off the breaker. When that was checked they then noticed the location of the breaker in the circuit box and hypothesized that its proximity to the HVAC circuit had caused it to over heat and become defective. They replaced the breaker and advocated for a whole house surge protector that I had previously been advised would be a good idea with the lightening in my area. They installed that protector.

I woke up to find I did not have electricity in half of my house. I assumed that since I had some power trouble was in my panel. I called about 10am to have an electrician come out and find the trouble, about 2 hours later James knocked on the door. James found the trouble, determined it was a bad cable from the transformer at the street to the meter. Took the time to explain what the trouble was and what my local electric co would do the fix the problem. I will definitely call American Electrical Contractors if I ever need their service again.

the worker was very quick, thorough and didn't have a large issue with the increase in the scope of the work, still finishing all within the same visit. He also cleaned up the full worksite.

Very well. Although, I had hoped it wouldn't cost as much as it did. The electrician was very professional and competent. He showed up only a 5 hours after I called and at the time I was told he would arrive. The dispatcher gave me a 15 min heads up for arrival as well. I will certainly use American Electrical again.

Shon and Josh arrived on time and took care of everything on the list. They were both very friendly and knowledgeable and even cleaned up before they left. They even took the time to answer my questions. I will use them again for electrical needs.

They have excellent service. As a matter of fact, I called them in the morning and they were here within four and a half hours and did their job. They are really good. They have reasonable pricing.

Mr. Hurlock and Mr. Arias performed the work in our home today. They were extremely professional, efficient and very polite gentlemen. All work requested was done in an excellent manner.

Every aspect of my contact with this company went well. The owner was very helpful on the phone, a permit was pulled promptly, scheduling was easy and the work was performed to the highest standards. The electrician who did the work was Mike B. and he was simply outstanding. He evaluated the work, made good decisions and quickly completed the installation. He was courteous and very professional and very efficient. I was very impressed with how quickly he completed the work - an important factor since I was paying for his work by time and materials. Yet, I never felt that he cut any corners as it was obvious to me that he and his assistant were knowledgeable and proficient. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company for any future electrical needs.

The two men that came out to install two outdoor light timers did an excellent job! I called the day before to see when they could come and to get a quote and they were here the next day...wonderful! They showed up on time and completed the work in the time I was quoted over the phone. The work would have cost $150.00, but at the time, there was a coupon on Angie's List that gave us $50.00 off, so that was nice. Can't say enough good things about this company.We would definitely use them again. We actually need to call them because we have another job for them!!

The electricians arrived promptly and installed the lighting and fan fixtures in the living room and bathroom exhaust fan and light. While there, I asked them to look at some electrical outlets, which they ended up replacing. They also checked my electrical box to make sure things were in order there. It will need eventual replacement, and they gave me what I thought was a reasonable estimate for that work (1,000-1,500). When I can afford to have that done, I will definitely call American Electrical Contracting. Prompt, professional, knowledgable service, and they cleaned up their mess.

Had company come out 6 mo ago to install an exhaust fan in our Master bath. We would have done it ourselves but we couldn't find the breaker to turn this item off. Call them back due to fan and light just quit. Also notices several other outlets inthe house stopped working as well. Called and set up appt based on my schedule within a few days of call. Guys were prompt and professional. Found the issue of a faulty GFI in the Garage and replaced quickly, double checked the exhaust fan and breaker box. Also recommended whole house surge protector which we had already been interested in getting since we all have lots of electronics. Cost was less if they installed while on job so we went ahead and get it done. I am currently waiting for another estimator for a possible whole house generator.

I have no complaints. I like them. They did what they said they were gonna do. They showed up on time.

The workers arrived early. I was just getting started on a shower door estimate. The workers patiently examined the new fan while the glass guy completed his measurements. The install went well. They did tell me in advance that it would be messy. They applied the appropriate covering to the toilet. They brought in a shop vac and cleaned up the floor once they were done. They did miss cleaning up shower floor which was not a big deal. .
