I used American Electrical Contracting Inc on 2/28/2014. I was very happy with the service I received so I decided to use them again. Once again I had a great experience with this company. I was pleased to have Shawn Reynolds and Ray sent to my home. Again both guys were quick and cleaned up any mess. As usual Shawn provided outstanding customer service and answered any questions. I am more impressed that I had great back to back experiences. It was nice to see consistency with the service I received from American Electrical Contracting Inc……(American Electrical Contracting Inc)----I especially want to say how outstanding Shawn Reynolds was!! I will be sure to use your company again and again and again….Thanks again.

The electricians, Ricky and Lonnie, called in advance, worked quickly and neatly, were well groomed, professional, explained their work and readily answered questions. They swept the floor when finished and left the kitchen clean.

The techs were very professional and explained the problem. They completed the work very timely and followed up to ensure everything was working. Very good service. The office also followed up with me to ensure satisfaction.

We were grateful for his service/expertise and will most definitely use American Electrical again. Wonderful experience!

The guys were extremely professional, very helpful and worked really hard. They got a TON of work done over only a two-day period. Everything was done exactly as we expected it, for exactly what we were quoted at. We were really pleased and would definitely use them again!

Steve and Mike showed up right on time and did a great job. They answered all the questions I had about the wiring in this older home. They worked quickly and were able to knock out the items on my to do list in no time. Glad I called the pros. Glad to have the peace of mind knowing every thing is wired and installed properly. Surprised that the bill wasn't more as I added several things after I called to set up appointment. I got a quick estimate and they gave me an idea on the cost. This is the second time i have used this company. They are punctual with service and always place the customers needs as the highest priority. The two electricians did an outstanding job fixing wiring issues (on both occasions) and are very neat in both appearance and work ethic. When they replaced an old light fixture in the living room they took extra time to ensure that it looked like it was installed by a professional and the helper even offered to sweep up the living room even though I ensured him it wouldn't be necessary as I would be cleaning the house shortly anyways. Not only have I recommended them to family I have also recommended them to customers for the service company I work for.

Team from American electric arrived earlier than promised and completed work the same morning. Very professional and knowledgeable team. Very pleased with the result.

It went great. They showed up on time. Removed the old electrical box and put in a ceiling fan rated one. Installation took about an hour. They cleaned up after themselves. They even pointed out an issue with the water heater.

Ricky and Jason arrived on time (within quoted window). They traced problem to the irrigation pump connection. After discussing, decided to have them put the pump on a new dedicated circuit. Fortunately the irrigation pump is right outside opposite from service panel so it was relatively simple for them. Ricky and Jason were very professional and got the job done expeditiously.

They came very quickly and I needed that because I had to shut off the power to the smoke alarm since it was a piercing sound that could not be stopped otherwise. They recommended the hardwired alarm to be replaced every 5 years, and it had been 9 years. We have been in the house for 1.5 years and had not idea of the time sensitivity to the alarms. They were also able to get my kitchen lighting working again, over the breakfast bar. It has not worked for a few months. They diagnosed the problem and put it in working order without us having to replace the fixture. I was very happy with everything about my service call from American Electric and plan to use them again.

I thought I would get laughed at when I called the day before Thanksgiving for same day service but they went above and beyond to accommodate my electrical needs. Not only did they come on such a short notice but they performed the work with exceptional professionalism and cleaned up any mess they made. They also gave me a very fair price. I would absolutely recommend this company to family and friends.

Mike Sport and Dave Shaw came out and were the epitomy of professionalism. Probably the best service experience that I have ever had. The things that I loved about these two guys were: Their Christian demeanor Their respect for each other and me Their kindness Their knowledge of the problems and solutions offered. Very polite and curteous. Cleaned up after themselves well. Fixed things the correct way and not the easy way. Price was reasonable. It is so rare these days to have workmen in your home that actually care and take pride in their work. I appreciate it very much and will absolutely call them in the future to have things they recommended fixed. This is a vacation home and the only problem with these two guys is that I can't take them back to Macon, Georgia with me. I could keep them busy a while there. Thanks again for the great and reasonable service!!

They were absolutely wonderful. I would recommend them to anybody. What made them stood out was their quality of service, professionalism, and they were very efficient.

Getting access to the main panel proved to be a difficult task. They carefully made a path to the main panel and rearranged the existing circuit breakers to install the new 60 amp breaker. They fed the new wires to the garage and repaired and replaced the drywall and porch ceiling leading to the garage so that all I needed to do was touch up paint. They installed the new sub panel and ran wiring and installed outlets on each of the dedicated circuits in the locations where I needed them. They cleaned up all the debris and took it with them. I am very pleased with the results and highly recommend them.

Fixed a 3 way switch and 2 GFI and a Fluorescent light. I had originally said that the problems involved a fluorescent light. Amer Elect Inc reps said that they thought the bulbs were what was bad. They hadn't brought any bulbs. (Nor did they ask if they could have borrowed bulbs from another fixture to make sure that was the problem (which even I should have thought of admittedly.. They did not offer a senion discount, though I'm pretty clearly a senior. The workmen weren''t sullen but they certainly weren't friendly. Even though the problems were complex to the average homeowner I would not have expected a $400 bill. Reviewers and readers will want to note that there is are other companies with similar names.

The receptionist was very quick to schedule an appoint for the following week. Even called to verify on the day before. Mr. Manchester and Sonny did an outstanding job. They installed several outside electrical outlets and repaired an inside outlet. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. Cleaned up area after completing work. I would definitely recommend them to others. I did not think that the price was unreasonable, but did not compare it to other companies.

A couple of the original outside lighting fixtures, over the front porch and next to the garage, were deteriorating from age, heat, and low quality parts used by the builder's subcontractor. The plastic was getting increasingly fragile and was most noted when I changed the light bulbs. When I recently replaced a bulb in the porch, more of the light cover crumbled to dust. Shortly after I'd finished, a mild gust of wind broke one of the cover's anchoring point and cover was open and at hanging about 45 degrees. I checked with Home Depot about a new cover, and two different associates said the same thing: Home Depot didn't carry but a few cover replacement (mostly the globe-types) and even if I could find one, it'd likely cost more than getting a new fixture. Since I'd used them earlier this year and was happy with the results, I'd contacted American Electrical Contracting again about installing new fixtures. A few days later, I purchased a couple of metal replacement lights. For today's appointment, their office called and said that the technicians would be there at 3:30. About a half an hour after the office called, James called & he said that he'd be there at 3:15. As it turned out, he was in our driveway at 3:10. James and his assistant got right to work, each tackling a different fixture. At around 3:30, they finished up, even taking away the trash!

Fred E. and C. Hughes fixed our issue and they were awesome. Friendly, on time, and got right to it. They found a loose wire causing the flicker and tightened all other wires and even found a loose breaker and fixed that too! All in 30 minutes. Very happy and will call them again!!

I was pleased with this company from the time I first made contact with them to schedule the work to the time when all work was completed. The electricians (there were 2 of them- Sonny and Klay) were prompt, they were professional and they were efficient. They went straight to work upon their arrival and did not stop until finished.. As an added bonus they also had very pleasing personalities and even though this has no bearing on their work or efficiency, it certainly made the experience very, very pleasant. We must assuredly will call on this company again.

Jack and Jasper did an outstanding job. Even though we were their last stop they did not hesitate to fix anything we asked them do. We even mentioned things the home inspector found faulty and they were quick to point out that it was wired fine. Every step of the process was professional as well as friendly. I would highly recommend this business

when problem occurred, we called out the company, they sent out two fine young men who were very professional and repaired the problem promptly, and also gave me an excellent price on a whole house surge protector, very satisfied with this company and would reccomend this company to anyone

I called early today to say receptacles in the bathroom were not working. Made an appointment for tomorrow afternoon. At 10 am today office called saying they could work me in, but I had to leave in half an hour. Told them I'd be back at four. At 3:30 they called, said they could be here at four and they were. Ryan and Jerry were personable, friendly, helpful and moved fast! Located the sick GFI, offered to replace the elderly smoke detectors, and asked if there was anything else I needed to have done. I'm sure I'll think of 3 as soon as I finish this.... I am very impressed with this company and its employees. 100% impressed! Highly recommended.

See above. It says it all. I notice that you said more weight is given when services are performed. How can you possibly say that when no one even thought it necessary to contact me after I was told Ray would be in contact?
