The technician was very sensitive to my time and schedule, responsive and professional. He protected my property by wearing booties. Then, he did a thorough check of the system while explaining his purpose along the way. Finally, he explained the bill, which reflected my Angie's List discount.

Air Engineers Service Experts is the only HVAC company that has ever touched my A/C units. They did the original install of the A/C units in my house when it was built new in 2007 and two years ago (2011) I noticed that the aluminum fins on the outside condensers were turning to dust. I called Air Engineers for a service call and the technician informed me that there had been a manufacturers recall and they changed the coils on both units for free. No problems, great work, great service. I was so pleased that from 2011 to 2012 I bought one of their "maintenance plans" and they came out a couple times to check the units. But this summer (2013) I've noticed that they aren't cooling as well as they should (and did last year), so I bought the coupon for a $59 "tune up" and called Air Engineers to use it. They said that since my units aren't working properly then it's a "repair" not a "tune up" - so I wasted my money on the coupon. Anyway... I paid the $99 service call to have a technician come troubleshoot my units. The tech was great. Professional, timely, clean cut, considerate, etc. Really knew his stuff. My problem isn't with him - it's with Air Engineers. His diagnosis was that both units are slightly undercharged of freon (1lb or so per unit) and that he thinks it's probably due to pinhole leaks in the indoor air handlers since the condenser coils are basically new at 2 yrs old. Total estimated cost would be around $300 for the service call and to recharge the units (but not to find and fix the pinhole leaks). I paid the $99 for the service call and declined everything else because my Dad, who lives in the Atlanta area, owns an HVAC company and has been installing and fixing A/C units for 25 years. He's a Master Licensed Technician and has even taught HVAC at the local technical college. As luck would have it, he's coming to visit next month (August) and I was going to ask him to bring his gauges and a bottle of freon. I called my Dad and he thinks it is B.S. that Air Engineers would charge me anything more than the actual cost of the freon, if that, and he also thinks they should find and fix the leak(s). He said that's the way he would handle it. The units are still fairly new (2006 models), they did the original install in 2007, they replaced the condenser coils in 2011 and they did the annual maintenance last year. Now there are pinhole leaks and just to recharge the units they want $100/lb freon. Dad said that the price of R-22 freon has tripled the past few years due to Obama's EPA but even with that he charges $90/lb. To add insult to injury, now Dad can't make it down until September. I have a pregnant wife who complains all night long because at 76 degrees in the bedroom "it's too hot." She's not going to let me wait until September so today I called another company highly rated on Angie's List, Waychoff's Heating and Air Conditioning. The lady was really helpful and said that they charge $75/lb R-22 and that they could come out today if I said it's an emergency (which it's not), so they are coming out on Wednesday. con . It was a emergency call when our air conditioner quit working on a hot weekend day. The woman who answered the phone was very pleasant. She told us she would contactl the on call professional and he would be in touch ASAP. He arrived in about an hour and a half, went straight to work. In no time he diagnosed the problem,advised us of the cost and bang the work was done. We couldn't believe how inexpensive, easy and professional the service was! We will definitely stick with Air E engineer Service Experts !

They seemed to use this deal as a sort of bait and switch. All they wanted to do was try and sell us a new unit. Their freon prices were incredibly high and they basically pressured us to buy a new unit. We got a second opinion and we found their prices to much more reasonable. They also discovered a tiny leak but nothing to the extent that this company did.

The online appointment scheduling did not show up on the company's computer system; however, the customer service rep did ensure and verify that I had an appointment for Saturday. The service tech arrived on time and called ahead stating he was enroute. The tech verified that the compressor was bad both electrically and mechanically. He even attempted to "jump start" the compressor which failed. He set up an appointment for a sales rep in the afternoon. This diagnostic was free. The sales rep called ahead stating he was also enroute. He arrived as scheduled and inspected the system taking notes of the equipment. He quoted me the high end system which was excellent, but . . . I then asked for the next lower cost system. He explained the differences (i.e., efficiency, cost, etc.). I told him I was interested in this system and he wrote me a quote with all the details (i.e., equpment, rebates, warranty, maintenance plan, etc.). He stated that the installation could take place on Monday. I agreed. The two-man installation team arrived on schedule and began removing the old system. They were very friendly and worked well as a team. One tech began removing the air handler and the other began removing the heat pump. The installation supervisor came by and checked on the progress. The entire removal, installation, verification, and testing of the system was completed in approximately five hours. A local inspector was scheduled and will perform the official verification and inspection of the system on Tuesday. The techs were very considerate and put down a drop cloth from the garage door entrance (of the house) to the air handler closet. They checked for any trash, used parts, and even screws on the garage floor.

The service was expensive but they were great. They did a wonderful job, I was very pleased. I would use them again. I like their personality and professionalism. I would recommend them to others. They came out at 8 o'clock at night and the guy was at my home for a couple of hours. I applaud the service.

All is working fine. They always come when they say they will and do what they are supposed to. Everyone is always courteous.

We have used them quite a few times and we are very happy with them. The servicemen are very polite and courteous. They wear booties when they come in to our home.

They were clean, quick and professional. Sales team was very informative, and not pushy. They offered a free duct cleaning to sweeten the deal, and we accepted. I expected some quick gimmicky system, but they were professional and through. There was no mess inside the house, and we got to see how much stuff was removed from our ducts. Worth it! AC install was seamless. They completed the job in a day, including reworking the ducts and installing a cold-air return in the bedroom far away from the air handler. Outside was just as clean. New Unit is quiet and barely runs all summer. I will continue to use Service Experts for all my A/C needs. I would recommend to a friend.

The contract includes preventive maintenance to the entire central air conditioning unit, usually in the fall and spring. Service Experts is very good about contacting me to set up appointments, so that service is conducted in both a timely and consistent fashion. The technicians are professional (don't always wear their little shoe booties, though) and appear to be very familiar with the workings of my particular unit. Occasionally I will be solicited to buy products, UV lights, for example. I always decline these offerings; let's keep it simple. My a/c- heat pump is still performing well after ten-plus years.

I completed the online request form to get an estimate for a new system. Unfortunately - I never received a call back. (1 week later) I called Service Experts who told me they never received the request. **Be Careful using the online request form**

I've always had a great experience with Service Experts. I have a service agreement with them where they come out every 6 months to tune-up our air conditioning units.

My air conditioner broke in the middle of the day. I was home from work having my carpet replaced, and all of my furniture was in the front of the house. I called Service Experts, and they assured me I would hear back from the technician that should be able to be at my house between 4 and 6 p.m. At 6:05, I called to make sure I was still on the list. The office told me I should hear something shortly. Technician never called and obviously, never came.

I was under a service contract with them with a prior unit, so they’ve been responsive and have done a good job. I’ve developed a level of trust with them, so when they explained to me why it’d be a good idea to just replace the unit, I went with it. Also, when I mentioned that I missed a class during the installation since it took longer than they had thought it would take, they reimbursed me for that class without any problem. They even came out afterwards to explain my thermostat one more time.

Went to three different comapnies and received estimates for both Trane & Lennox. Settled on Lennox due to some bad experiences we had with Trane a while back (Though based on our research I feel the units were compatible). Service Experts had helped us n the past and their workmanship was superb. Of the three prices provided theirs was not the cheapest but they provided the best decription of all the work to be done and from our perspective provided the best warentees. The workmanship as before was excellent and the crew came on time worked late to ensure all was done in one day and cleaned up after themselves. The Unit has been awesome and in an environment of ever increasing electric costs this unit is paying for itselfsiisye

Called them Thursday and scheduled service appointment for following Tuesday. Technician arrived on schedule and performed service and installed filter. Cost of service was discounted $50 with coupon sent to past customers.
