The Air Engineers technician was professional, knowledgeable and punctual and I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

Very thorough job with great communication. Only issue was getting the appointment set up. The company was supposed to contact me, but after several days, I needed to call them to get things going. No issue once I placed that call. I will definitely be using them for future service.

Set up an on-line appointment at about 7:30 AM. Received email confirmation of my appointment within an hour. Two hour window. Received 10-12 noon time frame. Received a call from the tech Bill about 11:30 he asked me a couple of questions about the unit. He arrived a little after noon and went right to work. With the description I had given him he did a quick test and found a dead capacitor, He advised the cost of the item which he had on the truck and immediately went to work. He was very comfortable to talk with and talked to me on my knowledge level. I really liked that. Of course he advised me that my unit was 13 years old and told me that it my unit had reached exceeded the working life. And wanted to know if I would like a sales tech to come out and visit a new unit. He did not push as I told him not at this time. He had my unit up and running in 30 minutes. He did a great job. I had a coupon so the service call was free, normally $99. I thought that was a bit high compared to others. But they were a Trane professional, so I went with them

They're prompt and professional. My unit is new so I can't really talk about the cost because all these things run about the same. He was good.

Well I am a bit disappointed so far. I purchased the inspection deal on 7/2 and provided 3 appt times as asked. No one got back with me for several days. I finally calles them. The lady, who was nice, told me I should have received an email from them but I never did. She then explained they were very busy with repair calls and the first available Saturday was 8/6 8-10 time slot. I accepted that since I work all week. I did receive a vm a week or so ago letting me know there was openings during the week if I wanted to change from my 8/6 appt but since I can't be home during the week I didn't call to reschedule. There was nothing in the vm to indicate my original appt would be cancelled. So I was up at 7:30am rearranging the garage and weedeating my back yard, for easier access for the technician to do the inspection and any maintenance. I waited until 11am to call to inquire about my appt since no one had called or shown up. The young lady that answered told me she had left me a vm, which I agreed with, but told her that message only offered an option to have an earlier appt and nothing was mentioned that my appt would be cancelled. Which is apparently what happened. So then my choice was to reschedule for later this evening or next Saturday. I am a busy single mom and work all week until about 6pm. The weekends are my time to volunteer at the animal shelter, clean house, run errands and spend time with family. I have now wasted 4hrs today for nothing and will have to be home again next Saturday morning for another appt. They should have at least called me to let me know they had cancelled my appt. I am hoping next weekend goes better. My intention was to see how they are and then hopefully plan on purchasing a new system from them early next year, if my current ac can last that long (16+ yrs old). But right now I'm not feeling all that confident. I will update my review after my service is actually performed.

It is a company we have used since we built the house. I pay a yearly fee of either $149 or $159. I paid $144 the last time for my renewal. I prepay. I have been using them for 17 years. It depends on who the person is that they send out, but I have learned to ask for the same guy. For the last five years, I have been asking for Jose because he is great.

Customer Service is everything and unfortunately the employee (Mark) who answered our phone inquiry when we called to check as they missed the appointment window was rude, has zero empathy, dismissive, and didn't care about the inconvenience caused even if I had to take an early off from work. The technician eventually came and was decent enough. He looked tired and overworked then eventually took a peak at the backyard condenser when I mentioned it.

The tech called and said he would be here in half an hour which he was. He made a thorough inspection of my unit and ducts. After I purchased the above he quoted a price for duct cleaning which he said I could use. I also showed him my front BR which could stand to be cooler. He said he would have a salesman contact me to schedule an appt. I'm still waiting for that call. All in all I was very satisfied.

Had a Lenox warranty replacement coil installed by Joe Burris. Nicest technician I have dealt with in the local area. Very knowledgable and answered all my questions. If you have a need ask for Joe!

The current AC unit was 13 years old and had leaks in the coil - The cost to fix exceeded $1,000 so we opted to replace with a new more efficient unit. Went out and got multiple quotes and narrowed down to Air Engineers as the general reviews I read said focus on the installer and a good brand. Air Engineers had installed a large 5 ton unit for us in the past and the work was done extremely professional and we have had no issues with it. They came out when expected, work was done very professionally. Any modifications to the original plan were discussed and modifications were not made without my agreement. When done they walked me through the system operation and tasks I would need to perform to keep things working properly. Though they were not the cheapest, their price was competitive and the product installed, a Lennux, is more than adequate for my needs. Overall very satisfied and I would recommend them to others.

It is my pleasure to write a review for Air Engineers. We were lucky enough to choose their ad the first time we needed service for our air conditioning unit 11 years ago. From there...we never considered using anyone else. Today Jarold came to service our air conditioner. I already knew we would need a new unit, but Jarold gave me both sides of repairing the unit to keep it running or what would be the difference if we would purchase new. Jarold told me another person would come and give me the estimate on a new unit and to be assured that I still had the option of repairing rather than putting out the money it would cost to purchase a new unit. He explained they had good financing, also that they could take care of the duct cleaning I asked about and explained their maintenance plan which keeps us from having to worry about filters and other problems in between service. Each time I had Air Engineers here their service people ALWAYS knew what the problem was and how to fix it. They never pushed about buying new or made you feel as if they were selling parts you don't need. Whenever the service people finished the job - that was it - it was fixed. I never had to call Air Engineers a 2nd time because the 1st repair didn't work. This all may sound too good to be true, but in the end...I win...we will be saving money on our electric bill and in the end that is what makes trusting their advice the best! I myself actually read reviews and make my choices of who I use by what people write. I am completely confident writing this review and encouraging you to go with Air Engineers!

Not much to report as unit is working well. Technician was informative and answered the questions I had ( minor stuff)

They are my worst enemy. They are the pits. They put in the original system in this house. We moved here about 10 years ago. I thought I should go with them because they had put in the original system. Initially the experience was good. They just grew and grew and grew. I think the company got too big. I still get calls from these idiots and I've told them not to call me. I don't want to deal with them. It is a nightmare dealing with them. I couldn't trust them. I knew that my system was older and it was a matter of time. The icing on the cake was when I had to leave town and I had them come out two days before I had to leave. They told me there was a freon leak and since I was leaving I should turn the system off. They said it was going to be very costly. At that point, I called another guy that I had dealt with and he came. I had to pay to have someone else look at it after Air did their bullsh*t. They added more freon and the system ran for at least another year. I don't know whether it was incompetency or dishonesty. I had a service contract with them. Their pricing was fine. They were on time. I would never use them.

This is a catch up review for this company: They installed a new Lennox heat pump (air handler and compressor) in May 2013. Air Engineers had been servicing my old unit; after 11 years and several repairs, I decided not to risk another summer with it. Troy Howell, who impressed me as very knowlegeable and professional, gave me a complete explanation of the required work to be done and a satisfactory estimate of the cost. I decided to have them install a new unit. The technicians showed up promptly on the scheduled day, and performed great work. The only glitch was when the electricians contracted to upgrade the breaker box did not show. There was never a satisfactory explanation for that, but they came the following day. The new unit worked well, until a day in January 2014, when it suddenly quit. A technician came the next day, and determined that, during installation, some wires were damaged and eventually caused a short circuit. He said this is a not uncommon situation, due to the tight spaces the wires are installed in. I believe that could be the case. Of course, the repair was done with no cost to me. This latest service call (March 21) was to do regular maintenance on the unit. The technician was prompt, and professional as they all have been. Overall, I like Air Engineers and the services they provide, glitches not withstanding. I believe they provide good service for a reasonable price.

It did not go any where. I can't figure out why I keep getting inquiries about this item that Angie, personally, cancelled at my request!!!

It was okay. We paid an additional amount. I could have fixed it for $20 so I was displeased with the price. They tried to sell me a whole unit, too.

They offer 100% financing and 100% satisfaction. They were on time and guaranteed the work.

In early July 2013, I contacted Air Engineers for an emergency service call after another HVAC company I'd been using for years failed to show up for a scheduled appointment. The service techs from Service Experts / Air Engineers showed up on time and quickly determined that trying to repair my 19 year old A/C system would cost about as much as replacing it. The technicians were helpful is setting up an appointment with a sales rep later the same day (07/03) and on July 5th, a 3-man crew removed and replaced the system (indoof and outdoor components) with a new Lennox system. The whole experience in July was amazing. The technicians, sales rep and installation crew were awesome. However, there's a downside to this comment. With the purchase of a new system came a 1 year service maintenance contract. The week of 11/18 I contacted Service Experts / Air Engineers via their website to schedule the winter maintenance check. The first and second dates/times I selected weren't available, so someone from their central scheduling center contacted me and we set up an appointment for 11/27/13 between 12 pm - 2 pm. After the appointment window had passed today, I contacted Service Experts / Air Engineers to see what the delay was, and question why a courtesy call hadn't been made letting me know they weren't going to make the window. I was told my appointment had been canceled but they couldn't tell me who had canceled it, but they could reschedule it except I'd now have to wait until January. How a business handles customer service heavily influences my opinion of that business and whether or not I would recommend them to family and friends. At this point I am disappointed in Service Experts / Air Engineers handling of this situation.

They do an adequate job on our systema. The system seems to be working. Scheduling goes well and they let us know when it is time for an appointment. One technicians comes out and it takes a couple hours to complete. They arrive on time for the scheduled appointment.

I have been using Air Engineers in Jax since 2002 and unfortunately after being bought by Service Experts the level of service and integrity has dropped dramatically. After this last service appointment they followed up with a "how did we do" email in which I explained the situation and my concern about the Tech they sent. To this day I have not been contacted. I guess it's all about the numbers.....NEVER AGAIN!

We purchased a Big Deal from Air Engineers to get a check up on our two AC units. They found leaks in the attic and after a second visit we decided to purchase a new unit. We needed an electrician to come and do some wiring in advance and then the Heat Pump was installed on a Saturday at our request and the crew worked for 4 hours to get it done. We are happy with the work that was done. The group was professional and flexible so that we could get the unit installed. We would use this co again.

I used an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. I was thinking about doing some duct cleaning but they were way too expensive on that, so I did not use them for that. There were supposed to check out everything and there was one issue with a screw loose on my thermostat. A couple of days after they were here I had a problem with the thermostat. My furnace and air conditioner would not run. I had to get somebody in to replace it. I thought that should have been caught when they did the system inspection. They came about two weeks after I purchased the Big Deal. I thought they were a pretty good provider and the technician who came out was very professional, but we had that one little issue with the thermostat. He told me about their maintenance program that I may check into.
