I wish I had researched this company and read the reviews posted all over the internet. This company also has an F rating at the BBB. The technicians showed up to clean my air ducts and dryer vent, which was all part of the "Gold Package". They brought a machine in and hooked it up to one vent and turned it on. I asked to see the dust it accumulated, but they put it away before showing me. They also explained that I was low on puron and had a dust issue. For $715 they could add the puron, and sanitize the ducts. They also told me about the 3 year service plan that was included in the price where they would come out every 6 months to resanitize and clean the ducts as maintenance. In reality, they have no such program. They have something that is called a warranty, but I'm not sure how you would put a warranty on vacuuming ducts. The owner explained that there was no service plan only a warranty, even thought the technician specifically called it a service plan. Actually they broke my air condidtioner. Not only did they break it, they left the job knowing it was broken. I watched them in my garage trying to figure it out. Also, I had a carpenter at the house, and he overheard several conversations where the technician was on the phone trying to call someone to figure out how to fix it. There was no communication with the compnay and me about this issue. They left my unit broken for 24 hours. Actually, I called 24 hours later and explained to the owner that I was having hardwood floors laid, and they may buckle since the AC unit was not working. I explained that someone was going to have to be responsible for fixing the unit and replacing the floors if need be. The owner replied, "We have good insurance." A subcontractor was issued a workorder 6 minutes after I called. He did come out and fix our AC unit. I can only wonder whether or not Air Care Solutions would have sent someone to fix the unit they broke had I not called. I did ask for a partial refund, since I would not be using any part of there service plan and was denied. The owner stated they already provided the service. I urge everyone to read the reviews on the internet about this company because there were several examples of bad experiences just like mone.

They deserve a failing mark. I was robbed with this company because the A/C was still not working after they spent the 7 minutes refilling it. I called them back to let them know, and they told me they would call the dispatcher to get someone back out to me. They never came, and when I called back a second time they did not even answer. On the following business day when they reopened, the person that answered told me that the unit was installed by someone who wasn't by certified. They told me that it could be my duct work, but my ducts were brand new so I knew that was not the case. Then he said I may need to have my cut off valve replaced, and that would cost another $500 to replace it and add the freon again. He also told me it would be an additional $39 for them to come back out even though my next service call was supposed to be free. When I brought that up to him he said he forgot that was the case. Now when I call them it says they are not open even though I spoke with them an hour before that.
Description of Work: They replaced 3 pounds of freon. The advertisement was for a free pound of freon, but the catch was you had to get a $47 tune up.

It went very well. They were timely, professional, and courteous. They even came back a week later and did an extra treatment for free. There was also a problem later in the day and they came back out and checked it at no charge.
Description of Work: They installed an air conditioner.

Do not allow them into your house under any circumstances. They told my wife that mold outside near the condensing unit coud infiltrate the high pressure freon and ride it into the AC coils There are not tips for dealing with them other than never allow them in. Never call them and hope they dry up and blow away. These are the guys who would otherwise be selling 'gold' Rolex watches out of dark alleys for $200 - guaranteed genuine. Stay away.
Description of Work: This company is a good old fashioned scam outfit. You have to admire them on one level, they come in to your house run around, make a lot of noise, tell yu that you have all these serious problems they can fix and ask you obvious questions like do you sneeze or have allergies (who doesn't in north Florida) then scare you again with takes of serious consequences of air vent mold then sell you a recurring service, new filters and a cleaning that they will never come back and repeat. The filters will never arrive and the warranty will never materialize and they will pretend not to know you when complain. Did I mention that they lie? They lied to my wife and scared her into $2400 of 'emergency' service, none of which was necessary. They sold her air ionizer that they later claim they don't know what it is and have never heard of such a thing, but charge you for it anyway. They claim to have a magic sensor to detect mold, but that technology does not exist. These guys make the old high pressure vacuum salesmen look like low honest businessman in comparison. None of the 'technicians" know the first thing about HVAC and they will always seem to find your freon a pound low and somehow manage to refill ti and charge you from am an empty tank - each truck carries an empty freon tank around with them for that purpose. Their huge ad in Mint is a scam trap. Do not fall for it. Use these crooks and scam artists at your own risk.

My uncle is under hospice care, and he is back home now and he wanted to have this work done. I called this company to come out. I was there when the 2 men came out. They turned their machine on and let it run for at least 45 minutes. He came back in with a little hand held device, and when he used it he told me that he had some bad news: we have mold. I knew that was not good. He also told me that there was a leak in the valve where the Freon goes in, which would cost $291. He said we were down 3 pounts of Freon, which is $65 a pound. I discussed this with my uncle, and he decided to let them fix this problem and treat for the mold. The treatment for the mold was $981. They told us they would not take personal checks, but could take bank or credit cards. When I spoke with my husband, he said that we had been taken advantage of. I called another company to have them out for a second opinion. When he came out, he said our system did not even have the valve that the Freon would go in, which the other company said was leaking. Also, he said he could tell the system had not even been opened, so no one had actually checked the system. Where the Freon goes in had not even been touched. All of the ducts were still dirty. He also discovered a section that was wide open causing air to come out under the trailer. It had never been sealed properly. In the AC, he found that the drain where the water comes out was clogged and the tray underneath it was standing in water, and there was mold under that. He was able to clean that out and replaced the drain pan. This second company actually took care of all the work for us, and fixed what Air Care Solutions was originally supposed to. I called Air Care to let them know I had another provider come out, and I was not at all pleased with the work they had done originally. They came back out, and basically said that what had happened was not their responsibility. They said that they did not need to check under the trailer because we had not asked them to...but I thought it was a part of what they were supposed to do. Also, because of the holes in our venting under the trailer, the mold treament blew out under the trailer. On the 31st, I got another call from the company to ask me about my being dissatisfied with the service. I explained to him that I already called the Better Business Bureau. I explained to him that we had given them several chances, and they had truly taken advantage of my uncle and asked for the money back. He said he would not do that, so I ended the phone call.
Description of Work: We saw an advertisement for this company to have the air conditioner cleaned, tuned up, the filter changed, the dryer vent cleaned, plus a free pount of Freon for $99.
