Adept Appliance Service

My previous review was meant to be a 5 Star review. Don't know why it showed 4.5. This company and Kyle will be my go to people for any appliance repairs in the future.

Needed a repair to my Refrigerator. Adept Appliance got me a next morning appointment and sent Kyle out who did an outstanding job. My unit is up and running better than it has in years.

Scheduling person and repair person were very professional and nice to work with....showed up exactly as promised and resolved issue easily.

Wonderful experience .

They were quick, and didn't try to sell me what we didn't need to fix the problem. Great service.

Knowledgable technician identified problem within 5 minutes. Ordered new computer panel for dishwasher. Returned with new panel in 4 days and installed it,. tested performance and was gone in 15 minutes. Would recommend this service to anyone.

Good Company

Logged my clothes washer problem in on Monday 9/21. Initial response was prompt with a phone call to set up service for the same day.. Was told the part was not in the Jacksonville warehouse and would be coming from Tallahassee in 1-2 days. Called them 9/22 and had to leave voice mail. Call not returned that day. Called Wednesday twice and did receive call late in day of 9/23 at which time I was told the earliest they could return was 9/28. Seemed taking new business was a priority over finishing old business. Told the operator that was not acceptable. Was told they would try to get an 'on-call tech'. I knew that would not happen. My internal b.s. alarm was going-off and clanging loudly. It didn't and the same tech returned 9/28. Installed new part and left. Clothes washer was then leaking and called for tech to return which he did a couple hours later. Thought the problem was then fixed. Later discovered it was not; still leaking a significant amount. Called again for tech to return, only to learn scheduling a re-visit was still a problem. Tech returned October 7. Problem was finally solved with tech discovering a hose had been folded over (or crimped) when installing the new part and thus causing the leak. My complaint with the service is the same as my prior one. It seems lining up new business is the company priority over completing existing jobs to the satisfaction of a customer who had paid in full. Perhaps as this business first registered with the State of Florida 4/1/14 under one name followed by a second on 4/14/14 and now operates on a slightly different name might offer the explanation that the owner is the only tech. I will give the tech credit for the fact that on the final visit he had a trainee with him. Hopefully this gentleman and his business will survive what appear to be growing pains. My only suggestion is being more prompt in returning customer calls, and returning to complete jobs quicker (than mine which took from 9/21 to 10/7 to complete). If in fact the tech who came to my home is the owner I wish you well and to be successful in the future. In my opinion you just need to clean up a few operating procedures to do so.

Very professional, both in the office (phone contact) and the technician that did the repair. He was on time, polite, and finished the repair quickly. Good experience, would use again.

Great Would use again

I contacted Home Advisor on Monday Morning July 13, 2015, looking for someone to repair of replace my ice make,r and within 5 minutes, I received a call from Adept. This is a very professional company and the person that came to my home was on time (and I really like this, as we didn't have to sit around all day wondering when someone would come out) and very knowledgeable and personable He advised me what needed to be done, about how long it would take and the cost. On Wednesday, July 15, 2015, our ice maker was installed. This is great service and I would definitely use them again and refer to my friends and neighbors. Top notch service.

The Service Technician was professional and demonstrated superior technical service skills. It took less than 2 hours to diagnose the problem and install the new part. However, Adept's relationship with its supplier (e.g. inventory management error) contributed to a 10-business day delay in the repair being completed which was beyond the control of the service technician. I was originally quoted a 4-day turn around. An apology for inconvenience was offered.

The Service Repair gentleman was very courteous, professional and easy to talk with.
