Description of Work: Interior temperature was rising and our air conditioner was leaking gas. Repair technician found that the repair completed about 10 months earlier by another company, was done incorrectly. Prior repairman had left off a part and replaced a valve with the incorrect size. I thought the price charged was on the high side and wonder if it was because it was on a Saturday. We were very pleased with the repair.

+ -1 moreIt was an FHA rehab and the General Contractor recommended the company. We did get 2 other bids and chose ACE. We purchased the house with a 2 year old A/C unit with a warranty that was transferred at closing. We did not want to replace it but needed to update the duct work which was 50 years old. ACE re-located condenser unit and installed new duct work which included moving vents and adding returns. Work was completed within a couple of days. Workers were neat and returned a month or so later to vent a range hood, bathroom exhaust and dryer. The owner was on site, working along side his employees when the A/C was being done. We had difficulty with the A/C and he sent someone to check things out. When it was decided that it was a problem covered under the warranty, ACE dealt with it even though they did not sell us the unit or make any money by helping us. Workers were knowledgable and work site was cleaned up at end of each day.
Description of Work: We renovated a 1961 home with a 2 year old A/C unit that had 50 year old duct work. ACE re-located A/C condenser, replaced full house duct work, adding returns and placing new vents in proper places. They also vented a dryer, bathroom exhaust and kitchen range hood.
