When we needed some post hurricane work to repair damage to the ceiling we contacted two companies. Although both estimates were close, we chose to use AAA. Our decision was based in large part by the fact that Wade Tillis came to the house and explained our options. The job was essentially the teardown and replacement of our popcorn ceilings. We had heard many stories about the mess we would have to deal with after the work was completed and were very concerned. Wade assured us that he crew would take care to cover everything and ensure a full cleanup when finished. True to his word, when we returned to the house after the work was completed everything was a clean as when we left. The cleaning service he used was completely thorough and we were more than satisfied with everything. We are now planning to proceed with wall paper removal and painting of interior walls. Due to our satisfaction with his work on the ceiling, intend to use Wade and his company for the work.

We had a very positive experience with Wade and his crew. The pricing was reasonable and the quality of the work was outstanding. They are a team of true professionals and we would recommend them without hesitation. They installed large closet doors, crown moulding in one room and then painted the doors, trim and ceiling. We are very pleased.

The gentleman was courteous, returned all my phone calls in a timely manner. I explained to him that the stairs were recently scratched by a company delivering a treadmill and I was showing the house to a perspective buyer in three day! I needed someone quickly! He came out to fix the stairs. The stairs look great. And the showing was successful. Thank you so much for coming out in such a timely manner! You guys are great!!

I had a small bedroom wall repaired and painted. From getting an estimate to completing a job was excellent. He came to my house on time and was very knowledgeable about paints and recent trends for colors and type of paints. The cost was very reasonable too. I didn't give him an enough time, however he finished the job on time! Very detailed work and my bedroom looks great! He was very professional and friendly. Over all it exceeded my expectation.

Wade worked with to find the best solution to restore the beautiful finish to our hardwood floors. When the first approach didn't work to his standards he went to plan B which worked beautifully. And, he didn't charge us for plan A. Highly recommend AAA; in fact I'm getting him to bid on a painting project.

We employed AAA Advanced Residential Rehab to take down the popcorn ceiling we had and put up a finish. Wade came in and gave us an estimate and explained the process from star to finish. He recommended we go out of town for the weekend when the project was going to be completed, due to the dust, fumes, etc. Thankfully we already had a trip planned in February so we scheduled it for that same time. The only prep we did was to take down the pictures/paintings from the walls. We left on a Friday morning and returned Monday afternoon. In that short amount of time, they removed the popcorn and finished the ceilings in all 4 bedrooms, two hallways, dining room, living room, family room, and kitchen. When we returned home not only was the job done beautifully, but our house was SO CLEAN!! Wade brought in a team to clean, vacuum, dust, and my house was actually cleaner than when we left on our trip....NO EXAGGERATION!!! I would truly recommend that when you have a job like this done, plan to be out of town; it will be totally worth your sanity! Wade asked that I call him as soon as we got back home because it was very important to him to hear our feedback. This was the second project we hired AAA for and we will be using them again in the near future!

I am so very impressed with the work done by Wade's team. Wade was very responsive from the first phone call to the very last day of the job. The quality of the work and the professionalism of AAA Advanced Residential Rehab helped to take away any stress I had about getting the job completed. With the wall knocked down, it seems like it should have been originally designed that way. This was our first project with them and I am looking forward to employing them to complete other projects we have in mind!!

The job went seamlessly. We were told that it would take the 5.5 hours and it literally did. Wade's team accommodated all of our requests including coming up with a bullnose solution that turned out excellent. They guided us in purchasing our own materials prior to their arrival and it saved us around $150. I would recommend AAA Residential Rehab to any of my friends and acquaintances.

I had found Wade through the good reviews on Angie's list. I had purchased and had another company and contractor install the interior doors in my home. I had spoken with Wade over the phone to have his company come out and finish and paint all the new casings and doors that were installed. Additionally I asked to have 7 casings painted that were not removed when my new doors were installed. The estimate that was given I felt was fair. When the painter arrived, he found that the prior installer's work on the doors was a shoddy job. I tended to agree, but I did not know what to consider good or bad with my inexperience in the trade. I was told at that time that it would take 3 more days of just prep work to repair the installer craftsmanship before a proper finish could be applied. Wade came out to review the work after speaking with his painter. When he saw the need for repair, he gave me the cost of the extra time to fix the issue. And he suggested that I go back to the installer to try and have them assist in the extra cost in the work. It was a good deal of back and forth, but with Wade's assistance and expertise in describing the faults in the work that was done (as opposed to my novice understanding), I was able to get satisfaction in a full reimbursement of the additional cost to make the job correct. Afterwards it took Wade's crew a little longer to complete the task, as my work time was following Christmas and during holiday time, and that originally was more that one worker to handle the job. But mostly it was a one man machine whose attention to the detail was good to see. I am very pleased on the outcome of the finish and paint job. Had I not called Wade's company, the doors would not look as nice as they do. I have already been in touch with Wade on upcoming projects and referred him to my friends. Thank you Wade.

I was recommend to Wade by a colleague who had a good experience with him. Wade was very responsive to my initial call and had his carpenter out the next day to estimate the repair. I received a quote via email that evening, and it was a fair price. Rick was the carpenter and he did the repair. Both Wade and Rick are very friendly and Rick explained what he was doing. Rick is very skilled and conscientious and his work is top-notch. My front door was kicked in during a break-in and after the repairs, the door entry is stronger than it was before and my family feels secure.

We had hired Wade in 2014 to do some finishing work in my office, which went very well. He installed a new door to the garage, created custom door casing and floor trim, and had everything painted. This work was excellent. Based on that excellent work, we hired Wade to do a high end master bathroom renovation which we budgeted $20000 for. We were asked to purchase all of our own renovation materials (fixtures, tile) ourselves and we did. First, Wade had a demolition guy (who was also our tiler for the project) smash out all of the existing tile. The old tile was wainscoting so the guy smashed out the floor and the wall but only the bottom half of the wall where the tile was. His reasoning was that he'd have new drywall connect to the existing wall. This was unacceptable because we planned to tile from the floor to ceiling. Our home was built in the 1950s and back then the studs were not set flush and plumb. They used to do "rough studding" and then a plaster person would come in and create the drywall by hand over the rough studs. Sort of like painting, this was an art. The modern day drywall techniques rely on screwing cement or drywall board to flush and plumb studs, which these were not. So I asked that he smash the rest of the drywall out and he did, adding $300 to our renovation costs. While the demolition was happening, the finishing carpenter that Wade used in our 2014 office renovation came to replace our tile window sills throughout the house with custom wooden sills to match our office. This carpenter was also tasked with expanding the shower area: we were moving the ceiling up since it was a "cave" like shower with a drop ceiling, and we were also taking over some of our closet to expand the size of our shower. The window sills were done properly, but the closet re-framing was done horribly. Studs were attached loosely, were not flush, and creaked and cracked if you walked anywhere near them. He raised the shower ceiling and then ran trusses to create a smooth surface for the ceiling tile and drywall. The carpenter also did all of this with an incredibly bad attitude, rushing the work and leaving as quickly as he could. The demolitions and tile guy then quit, simply never returning to the job. Wade then hired a crew on short notice to finish the job. This new crew came in and began to hang cement board in the shower and bathroom. Well, because the rough studs were not flush and plumb, and the finishing carpenter's work was shoddy, the drywall bowed, cracked, and warped. It was completely unacceptable for tiling or any other purposes and I demanded that they pull down the 8 boards they had put up, which they did. I then called Wade as I was very concerned at this point, expressing issue with the creaking noise in the new studs as well as the flushness of the old and new studs and the warped cement board screwed onto the studs (I took photos). Wade came on site and tried to dismiss my concerns, telling me that "old houses creak!" to which I replied "yes, but not NEW WORK in old houses. It should not be creaking." He eventually agreed to have this tile crew repair the creaking studs, which they did. They also spent about 3 weeks shimming and sistering studs in our master bathroom to make things as flush and plumb as possible. They did a fairly decent job of this, however were very unreliable. They'd show up at 2pm and then leave at 5pm, and would then say they'd be back the next day and never show. It took them about 3 weeks to do a total of 40 hours of shimming and sistering work, but it eventually got done. I'd like to note that most renovation contractors know that old houses used rough studding, and account for this in their project. They allocate time to sister and shim the stud work to get things flush and plumb. Wade did not. Anyway... At this point, almost a month of stud work had been going on, on a part-time basis. We had been working on the renovation for 3 months without having even hung cement board yet. Wade had originally quoted us 6 weeks for the bathroom renovation - start to finish. Wade was expressing frustration with the extended length of the project as well as with my concerns and attention to detail, stating that he may have to charge me extra for a "full custom architecture renovation job" which was part of the original agreement. He also told me that I was his "most difficult customer this year" - a comment that I found rude. Am I being difficult in demanding that a high-end, $20000 bathroom renovation is done correctly? I think not. Fortunately, after the stud work was completed, the tilers proceeded to hang the cement board and did a decent job. Note that things were still not very plumb or flush, but a good tiler can float the walls and surfaces to correct for this. At this point Wade came looking for the mid-way payment, and I paid him $3000 on top of the $1000 deposit for a total of $4000 of the $7000 project having been paid. Next, the tile crew installed subflooring. They installed the shower area and main bathroom area subfloor correctly (glue + screw). However, when you tile over floor you need to place a cement board layer on top of the subfloor. You press it down into a layer of thinset, and then screw it down into the subfloor. I had to fight with the tile crew to have them do it this way, as they intended to glue and screw the cement board to the subfloor with liquid nails. Omitting the thinset between the cement board and subfloor would have provided no stability or crack membrane, and would have resulting in a flexible floor that would have creaked and eventually cracked the tile and grout over time. The tile crew eventually did it the way I asked - the correct way. I was annoyed that I had to teach them how to do their job. I also got the tile crew to waterproof the cement board and floor outside of the shower with a redguard equivalent crack proofing and waterproofing membrane, which Wade hesitated to do and said was unnecessary. So, next up was the shower. We had decided to use a high end Schluter system with a linear drain to create a nice custom shower. We spent $1200 on Schluter parts for the installation. Wade was excited, stating "wow, my customers never go for that option" which was probably warning sign #1 in hindsight. Wade is Schluter certified but he had the new tiler crew (who had never seen or heard of Schluter before) do the installation. It's important to note here that your Schluter system will not be under lifetime warranty unless it was installed by a Schluter certified professional. I learned this after the fact of course. Anyway, the tile crew installed the Kerdi-liner and Kerdi-band over the cement board walls using thinset, as well as the pre-fab sloped shower floor and linear drain. I then demanded a flood test which Schluter also recommends. A flood test is where you fill the shower with about 6" of water (up to your curb), mark the level of water with a pencil, and then leave it for 24-48 hours to verify that there are no leaks. A correctly installed Schluter system is watertight, and the water level will not drop. The shower failed the flood test miserably, losing almost 3" of water over 24 hours. The tiler insisted that this was due to the drain plug not being sealed fully, but it was. This was the final straw in this ordeal and nightmare of a project with Wade. At this point I pulled the contractors off the project and agreed mutually with Wade to terminate the contract since we were both unhappy. Not before spending $4000 however. I then purchased another $400 of Schluter parts and repaired the bad Schluter installation myself. The tilers had not overlapped the Kerdi-band at the corners of the Kerdi-liner which was the major issue. There were also flat spots in the pre-sloped shower floor that held standing water, and areas that just simply weren't Kerdi covered at all. I spent the next 2 weeks of my own time ripping up bad Kerdi work and thinsetting in repairs myself. I completed the repairs with the help and guidance of a popular online plumbing forum. I then did another flood test and was pleased to find that over 48 hours, NO water was lost. Success! I was finally on the right track. At this point I hired a different, highly regarded and competent tiling contractor to finish the bathroom - which cost us an additional unplanned $3300. They were very familiar with Schluter and were certified, and did an excellent job finishing up the bathroom on short notice. I then installed the fixtures (vanity, robe hooks, mirror) myself and had electricians and plumbers trim out the rough-in (sink, shower heads and controls). Perhaps one of the most frustrating things about this project was the wasted money. When we purchased our tile, Wade had insisted that we needed to buy bullnose tile for the edges. We spent over $900 on bullnose pieces. When my new, competent tiling contractor came in, he told me that Schluter offers a high polish, chrome trim for finishing tile edges - one that would go perfectly with our modern bathroom renovation. He brought us samples and then purchased and installed the trim of our choice. All of this was included in the original agreed upon cost, which was impressive. The chrome trim made the bathroom really pop and adds to the value. Unfortunately, since Wade did not know about this trim option, we now have over $900 of useless bullnose tile sitting in our garage which I cannot return. Today - 6 months later - I have an amazing new master bathroom, but it was a nightmare getting here. I learned that while Wade and AAA are very good at finishing work (paint, carpentry and trim), they are not experienced with major bathroom renovations. I absolutely cannot recommend Wade for any bathroom renovation projects, and would advise you to do your research and contact qualified, trained bathroom remodeling professionals instead.
Description of Work: Started a master bathroom renovation for us before we mutually agreed to end the contract. Also smashed out tiled window sills throughout home and fabricated wooden window sills to match our renovated office.

This was hands down one of the toughest bathroom remodels I have ever been involved in, in over 15 years. The customer changed the scope over and over making serious changes throughout the project sometimes on a daily basis. He was way over-involved to the point of standing over my tile guy literally barking out orders. I send our customers to Prosource to pick out the materials as he did. I can't help that he chose the bullnose that he did. The customer has zero bathroom remodeling experience but was second guessing everything we did. He "researched" the internet daily and was constantly telling us how to do our jobs. He stopped and started our project over and over again. We were so frustrated that we were happy to let the customer proceed with another contractor. We thought that the split was amicable and I took a serious hit on the funds we were due, only to find him leaving an inaccurate review on the actual events of the project.

We began with drywall repair to remove an existing laundry chute and a complete repaint of the upstairs bedroom suite. These rooms has just had a new wood floor installed and they took great pains to protect the flooring. Downstairs we had more drywall repair and paint in the guest bath, guest bedroom, laundry room, dining room, formal living room and foyer. The walls as well as the baseboard, The library was next and this room, as well as the tray ceiling in the dining room, required some design assistance as well as extensive drywall and trim repair in the library. We then moved down the hallway to the master bedroom and bath. Here we had crown molding installed in the double tray ceiling and more drywall repair and painting. in addition to all of this, we had a stained wood ceiling installed in our covered porch as well as two sets of new french doors. The drywall repairs were thorough and greatly improved the walls, which had been poorly executed by a previous contractor. The trim carpentry was precise and well crafted and the paint was superb, neat and expertly applied with virtually no drips or paint spatter anywhere, AAA Advanced Residential Rehab handled all of our work beautifully. Ever mindful that they were working in someone's home, the crew made every effort to properly cover and protect floors and furnishings. They always arrived on time as scheduled and the owner, Wade Tiller, kept in constant contact with me throughout the job, keeping me aware of what was coming up. He and his crew are very knowledgable and were quite helpful in making design choices with paint and trim carpentry. I was also very impressed with the quality of the work and the attention to detail. Wade and his team take pride in their work and that pride and dedication never wavered throughout the entire job. I would recommend them to anyone needing a good quality job with a fair price point.

This is the second time we have worked for this customer. We repainted most of the interior of their home about 1 year ago. He called me back and asked me for a price to install a non load bearing wall, a French door, some drywall, and then paint that area. After about a week and a half after the project was finished I even sent our cleaning person by there to ensure that it was perfect for this guy, knowing he was pretty picky. He owns a consulting firm and is very sharp. He told me that he went in the room the other day and closed the door and it got sort of hot in there. I tried to give him an HVAC guy guy that I know so he can contact him and put a vent in that room., even though he had never mentioned the vent before this point, nor do I have any experience with HVAC. This customer insisted that I was responsible for warning him about his air conditioning situation. I explained to him that HVAC is a specialized trade in Florida and one has to go to school for it. And that we were not trained in HVAC, but we could help him find a contractor to help him. So he went on Angie's and left this comment, even though he admitted the work was done correctly and the project actually came in under budget.

Fast service. Very professional and courteous.? They did a fantastic job on my tile installation. Would definitely use again. They were a little higher in price than some of the other quotes I received on here, but it was worth the extra cost.? Communication was excellent. So was the quality of work and follow up.? Highly recommend.

Project manager, Wade, contacted me within 24 hours of my request and came to estimate the work within 72 hours. I needed a carpenter to refit a cabinet and he recommended someone who came to the house and did excellent work (although the carpenter was a bit pricey). Wade's crew were able to complete the work (3 rooms painted plus hallways and foyer) within my timeline. Communication and punctuality were excellent. The painters were thorough with proper wall and ceiling preparation, and they protected all surfaces prior to painting. I would definitely have them again.

From start to finish, we were very happy with the whole experience.
Description of Work: Constructed built-in/entertainment center. Was able to use existing cabinets from another room as part of the design. Challenges included matching new wood to old. They also re-vamped two existing closets and built a new one. From start to finish we were very happy with their professionalism, courtesy, attention to detail resulting in a quality product. Rick the carpenter and Alyn the painter provided high quality work.

Wade and his subcontractors were very professional when I discussed the project and when providing an estimate. The carpenter, Rick, was very attentive to details we didn't consider when doing the estimate. A written estimate giving the exact cost of the labor was given up front. During the project, when we ordered the doors, the door manufacturer delivered doors that were completely the wrong size. AAA took care of everything. They returned the doors and corrected the order. The doors that were supposed to be ordered were actually supposed to be slightly more expensive than the ones they made in error. We did not see the difference in cost (not sure if the door company gave us the correct doors or AAA ate the cost). The project originally was supposed to take a little over a week, but because of the error in doors, it ended up being three weeks. Though many I think would blame them for the delay, mistakes are simply a part of life, and the manner in which they were handled was exemplary. Wade did not blame anyone, and instead, he and his team made all the necessary efforts to correct things, and at the end, our quoted price was honored and the quality of the work was exceptional and well worth the wait. The drywall, carpenter, and painting subcontractors seemed very detail-oriented and interested in making sure the project was completed to our liking. Everyone was very responsive when we had questions. Everyone was willing to work around my wife and my busy work schedules. Professionalism in this line of work is rare, and even though the project did not go as planned, their professionalism was very evident. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again in future home improvement projects.
Description of Work: Install double doors to master bathroom, build drywall and install a water closet door.

Wade Tiller, owner/estimator, has built a business using only the best craftsmen available and insists on attention to the smallest detail. I met with Wade and we reviewed the condition of my floors and stairs. My first floor is entirely wood flooring and it was in dire need of repair including the upstairs hallway and two staircases. My home is approximately 6,000 square feet and it was a big job. I hired AAA because Wade gave me confidence that he was prepared to manage this size job and he was also prepared to be held accountable for all aspects of the repair. We met with his wood floor refinisher and accessed the level of work necessary. I was advised to leave the house during the job as it's best not to breathe the fumes. Fortunately, the refinisher uses equipment that practically eliminates all dust accumulation. This was a huge factor in my decision to go with using AAA. I have had this work done at another home and it took many long hours of intense clean up to rid my house of the wood dust. The refinisher also replaced floor boards due to a prior electrician's improper installation of floor outlets and an area of the floor that had been damaged by water. He made the repairs look seamless and no one would ever know the wood wasn't original to the house. In addition, I had a kitchen drawer that wouldn't stay closed unless I put a doorstop in front of it. Gary, the refinisher, took it upon himself to adjust the drawer and relieve me of my doorstop solution! I just loved how these guys wanted to take care of my home as much as me. I highly recommend AAA for their level of detail, high regard for customer satisfaction, and quality of work performed. Wade's crew is incredibly knowledgable about the work they do and they take great pride in maintaining the highest standards and integrity. I liked that he was willing to negotiate the final price when the job took longer than expected and I had to stay a few more days at a hotel. It showed me that he took responsibility for the inconvenience and actually cared about how the project impacted my life. You will not be disappointed with AAA Advanced Residential Rehab. Wade is always available to answer questions immediately and provide all paperwork upfront regarding costs. It was a pleasure to work with someone who actually keeps accurate records and provides punctual and professional service. He has continued to make sure I'm happy with the job and assure me that if I ever need any other work done he's always available to assist me. It's great to have someone in the business who is so concerned with customer satisfaction. Wade values his reputation as an honest and qualified businessman and his customers' approval as a marker of his true success.

Excellent. I purchased this patio door from Home Depot approximately three years ago including installation. Since then the door was difficult to open during hot/humid days. I called the installer a couple of times and he couldn't fix it. Home Depot sent someone from the manufacturer and it got fixed for a few hours. At that point I gave up because I was able to open it with difficulty, and felt it was safer than for my granddaughter to get in the pool by accident. But the door got worst and it was way past time to have it fixed for good. I was afraid that I was going to pay a fortune thinking that the door frame would have to be removed and the reason the door never worked was because of a major problem with my home's structure. Dan did things the Home Depot installer couldn't, he fixed the door! I asked why no one before thought of the method he used to fix the door and he said "because I'm a builder." Enough said, it has been about a week since he fixed my door and I keep opening it expecting it to be back to how it was, but it swings like it should have three years ago. Thank you Dan!
