I called for an estimate on putting extra coats of sealant on my travertine floors in my new house. Instead of quoting me for the cost with his mark up, he connected me directly with the company that does this work for him. It is always refreshing when someone is more interested in getting a good job done for a reasonable price than making money on every job. He will definitely have my business in the future and I will be quick to refer people to him for their work.
Description of Work: Referred me directly to his subcontractor to have the work done.

The job went well, however, there were snafus, of course. Home Depot sold us the wrong door, which had to be returned and a couple of the painters were no-shows, but all was rectified by the Company cheerfully and promptly.
Description of Work: True to their word; various workmen were required for the various jobs done. Replaced french doors, replaced hardy boards on the exterior of fireplace chimney, and painted exterior wood (on brick home). Honest and hard working. Would definitely hire them again.

The back of our house had some wood that was rotting. We called Wade for an estimate and he gave us a fair quote. He and his team seemed knowledgeable, responsive and personable. On the first day, his carpenter came over and spent it replacing the affected wood and caulking areas as needed. Later on, Wade and his painters came by to prime and paint. We are very happy with their work.

This is my second time having AAA Advanced Residental Rehab perform work, which speaks for itself.I have so much trust and admiration for their work ethics and quality of work. On 3-12-2012 I had carpentry work. They replaced a board in the kitchen under the cabinet and replaced rotting woood under the gutter. The finished job was excellent. On 3-26,and 3-27 they painted 2 garage doors, their work is perfection.Day one they sanded and primed with oil primer and day 2 painted. The door looks better than new, they saved me from getting a new door. They are always prompt, courteous and go the extra mile.

I called AAA and Wade was out the next day to give me an estimate for painting the exterior of my two story home. He was very thorough in his examination of my home pointing out the cracks, the problems with the original paint job done by the builder, and any carpentry work that needed to be done. He explained my house needed a conditioner paint treatment and a heavy one coat of paint instead of 2 coats of paint only. His estimate was a bit higher than my other bid, but he was going to replace hardware on my garage doors, switch out screws to stainless steel, and personally manage the job himself. I thought the price was a bit high, but very, very fair. They did the most thorough pressure washing my house has seen in 8 years since it was built. I bought the paint from Sherwin Williams, but with AAA's business discount. I didn't have a problem with that, and Sherwin Williams delivered the supplies right to my front door. Great service! The crew, Scoobie and Chris, were great and they had a lot of cracks in my stucco to deal with. It took five days from the initial crack-filling, to the conditioner, the painting, and the follow up with Wade. Wade was always available on his phone and was at my house probably 5 times checking on the quality of the work. The house looks fabulous! We should have done it years ago. I've seen other houses in my neighborhood who use cheaper painters and cheaper products, and within a couple of years, the house needs painting again. I don't think that's going to happen with us. Very pleased.

We called AAA Residential Repair to get an estimate on having a horrible squirrel wall (an opening that goes from the stairwell to the master bedroom near the ceiling) closed off. From the stairwell side it was over 20 feet up and in the master the ceilings are over 15 feet high. We called and he came out to give an estimate and was very professional. Worked around our schedules. Before the scheduled day, set up a time and had drywall guy, Chris, come by to give us a list of supplies needed. On the scheduled day and time Chris came by and got right to work. Was very professional, and even was alone in the house for 2 hours during which time I had appointments to attend to. Came back and everything was done. Chris took pictures while we were gone so we could see step by step what was done. Will 100% use them again and would recommend them to anyone that needed a reliable, trustworthy operation to come in to their home and do good work. Price was right for the piece of mind we had this time, and will have in the future, using AAA Residential Repairs.
Description of Work: Squirrel opening from master bedroom to stairwell needed to be closed off. Removal of ledge, then framed, insulated, drywalled and mudded. Did not ask for paint due to color change.

I didn't end up choosing this company due to cost. Do your homwork and get at least three estimates. Don't go with the cheepest guy and ask for references.

Thanks for the feedback Member, I appreciate you considering AAA for an estimate. I hope our slightly higher estimate doesn't deter you from getting a bid down the road sometime, I tend to do things a little on the overkill side but very rarely have issues or go backs. I would have tried to adjust the numbers a little, but didn't have a clue. I left you a voicemail, but never heard back from you. Thanks again, and we look forward to giving you an estimate for your next project.
They were were professional, courteous, and very responsive. Each time they were in our home, they were great about prepping the area and limiting the dust and mess to the one room by papering off the walkway and keeping the doors closed as much as possible. Each component had specialists who were prompt with their scheduled arrival times and good with clean up after their work was complete. Most of them would call me into the room to check on the progress and/or ask questions as decisions needed to be made. A few times the results didn't exactly meet our expectations, but they were always open to discussing options and ready to do what it took to make us happy with the finished product. We plan to use them again for more interior work.
Description of Work: Renovation of the office/bedroom into our baby girl's nursery The room is fairly small with angles and contained lots of cabinets around the window and a desk and more cabinets on one wall. These components had been added at different times and were sort of a hodge-podge of trim and crown molding that didn't match the rest of the house. We had AAA Advanced Residential Rehab quote us for removing the desk and components on the one wall and installing them in our garage, install approx. 12 sf of travertine floor to match the rest of the floor where it was missing underneath the cabinets being removed, install wainscoting (similar to board and batten style), and paint all of the walls, wainscoting and the remaining shelves and cabinets around the window. The approx. $6000 includes the $4700 labor and then the materials on top of that. They successfully finished all that they quoted; and in addition, they had to float and refinish the ceiling.

Wade (owner?) arrived promptly on time to give estimate. Gave a thorough written estimate, along with all documentation regarding insurance, licenses, etc. Extremely professional and personable. Price was competitive with other (much less professional) painting companies. My house is all brick, so they pressure-washed it and let it dry thoroughly. A team of two painters spent an entire day painstakingly filling in all gaps, patching all woodwork, etc. Then they used a conditioner to seal the brick so the paint would apply properly. They painted the brick, the fascia board, and my new front door. It took over two weeks from start to finish because we had a LOT of rainy days during this time. What impressed me was that they took the time to be sure they did an excellent job that will last many, many years. The same team of two painters performed all the work, and they were excellent craftsmen, very professional, and also very nice! Many of my neighbors watched closely over the two weeks, and all told me how impressed they were with this company. They worked "clean", kept everything tidy, and just did an amazing job. I have been getting so many compliments on my beautiful "new" house. Many thanks to AAA Advanced Residential Rehab! I will definitely be calling them again for any painting jobs in the future!
Description of Work: Pressure-washed exterior, conditioned brick, painted brick and wood trim.
I first contacted Wade in Sept. to get an estimate on my kitchen project. He arrived promptly with his granite man and made some very good suggestions. Our initial plans underwent some significant changes and so we asked Wade to come out again in October to give an estimate on the new plan. Again he was very responsive and prompt. He brought his carpenter with him this time to give us advice on creating an arched window through the wall between our breakfast nook and kitchen. My project involved contracting with various people but Wade helped with this and made sure that things were co-ordinated with the various people involved including the plumber, carpenters, drywaller, electricians, tile and granite experts. He asked a different granite person to do my granite work as his previous person had moved. Marcelo was very informative, sincere and conscientious. When I advised him that I was concerned about getting a close fit with my island stove, he advised me to have the stove removed and reinstalled while he put in the island to get the best fit. He also suggested using hidden corbels to support the bar to avoid hitting your knee when sitting at the bar. Marcelo offered to meet us at the granite yard to help us choose the actual granite slabs. We also met him at his workshop to approve the layouts prior to cutting. When the time came for him to install the countertops, he and his assistant worked form 10 am to 7pm on a Saturday to get them done. The end product was lovely. In the joints the stone was matched very well in one area and reasonably well in the others. We had two different edgings and both were done beautifully. He and his assistant were very careful to keep things as neat and clean as possible. Although I initially thought that removing the stove was a little overkill, the end result was a really nice, tight fit and so I am glad we followed his advice. The creation of the window in the wall turned out to be much more complex that we anticipated. We found that the small wall carried a lot of electrical wires and plumbing that we needed to reroute. Wade helped me find a plumber and electrician to do this extra work. The arch was finished beautifully and the painting in the kitchen and breakfast nook was done expertly. The painter was kind enough to not only point out areas that needed to be caulked, but to also offer to do it himself. He too was very neat and careful of keeping his workspace clean. Throughout the process Wade kept in touch regularly and helped troubleshoot. I always knew that he would ensure that things got done right. Will definitely use this company again for future projects.
Description of Work: Kitchen remodel with new granite countertops, addition of a few cabinets to existing ones in kitchen, removal of bar sink and cabinet adjacent to kitchen, creation of an arched window in wall between breakfast nook and kitchen and painting of both areas.

The quote was for $25,000. He called my husband over the phone and gave him a price. He didn’t come out to the house and see what was needed to be done. He was driving past and he seen the house and went by. He later called my husband and gave him the price. I think that was very unprofessional and he should have set an appointment up. He should have come and talked to us and checked what we wanted instead of just driving by the house to see.

Wade was quick to return my calls, came out and gave me an estimate in just a few days. He referred me to some suppliers for my wood floors and paints. I went and picked everything out and ordered my supplies. Wade had a crew come out the next day to start the renovations. Everting went great. It is without a doubt the most stress free work I have ever had done. His crews were great, on time, super professional and nice. They really took pride in their work and too good care of the existing things in my home. They pleasantly put up with my pets and worked around my family. After the front door didn't turn out just right he had someone come out and re sand and refinish the entire thing the next day. Financial and time estimates were followed, even though we were working through the holiday season. I have a couple more projects in the ext year and I will definitely hire AAA again. My house looks great and I couldn't be happier.
Description of Work: I had old hardwood and carpet ripped out and new hardwood installed in all my living areas. I also painted walls and trimwork, and had my front door refinished.
I met with AAA/Wade in November on the pool deck resurfacing, stucco work and exterior painting that I needed. I wanted to get a quote from Wade and compare to one or two other quotes I had intended to procure from other Angie's list companies. I chose to go with AAA Advanced due in part to slow response time from the other companies, but mostly because Wade turned out to be a good, trustworthy, reliable person that told me what I needed to hear, not what he thought I wanted to hear. I was able to go over each of the "projects" that I was requesting and we worked through the details of different options I had available from a "quick" fix all the way to a "gold plating" fix. Wade is very knowledgeable and very professional. His pricing is quite reasonable, with the aforementioned ranges based on how good I wanted the fix to be. In addition, he and his crew do impeccable work and I was very pleased that the few items I found to be lacking during the final walk through were handled by Wade and fixed to my desire without a bunch of grief. One note, this work was performed on my rental home and I was very flexible with Wade and his team on the time frames for completion. In addition, we ran into some bad weather where most of the outside work could not be performed. Therefore, this is the reason behind the N/A on the punctuality line item of this survey. In conclusion, I would highly recommend AAA Advanced Rehab and Wade Tiller and will likely utilize this company in the near future.
Description of Work: I had AAA Advanced Rehab fix several issues at my rental home. I needed some stucco work done on the exterior, painting of about 30% of the exterior of this 3200 sq ft home, resurfacing of the pool deck and painting the entire inside walls of the garage. In addition, I had 4 cracked ceramic tiles that I needed replaced with new tiles I had on hand.

Contractor/owner provided reasonable estimate and stated work would be completed the Tues/Wed before Thanksgiving. When questioned about ability to complete all in that time, stated that if necessary, he'd send extra painters to get the job done in that time. First two painters arrived on Tuesday; late at 0930; one hour lunch and left at 3:45. Wednesday, second painter called off ill. First painter worked 9:15 to 3:30, with one hour lunch. At that point, had one coat on family room and breakfast nook, as well as small amount in DR. None in LR, and no woodwork touched. We had Thanksgiving dinner in a small space on the dining room, with all furniture surrounded by plastic. On Friday, first painter called at 9:30 and said he was having car troubles, may or may not make it. The contractor/owner was called at that point. We believe that had the contractor/owner done some supervision of the painters early on, he would have been aware of the lack of work ethic/progress made by the first two painters. He stated that he did not have any other painters to send. He did contact an hourly painter he used, and this painter arrived at 1 pm on Friday. The good news--this painter was outstanding, and also called his brother and father to assist. The three painters (two of whom were not used previously by this owner), were outstanding. They worked quickly, but thoroughly and got the job completed by Saturday at 1 PM. Overall, the Sherwin paint was excellent, the color consultant recommended by the owner was wonderful, and the results were great. A lot of the credit goes to the second painting crew. We would have liked more responsiveness early from the owner. He did try to make up for it by paying for some additional paint.

Natalie was recommended by the owner. She was wonderful, and quickly helped us to pick out the colors for the rooms we planned to have painted. We were very nervous about the choices, but they turned out to be perfect! Natalie also offered to come back anytime over the weekend to review colors. She suggested that we look at the colors, in all rooms, at multiple times of the day, and call her if we were not happy with the results. We did not call her, but felt comfortable that we could. The results were wonderful, and we'll use Natalie again!

Everything went very well. The installers (Clint Wright and Ricky Ragland) did a great job. They were the same crew that did my den and dining area previously and both times, they did a great job. They arrived on time, removed all the old carpet, hauled it away and knocked out quite a bit of footage over a Saturday and Sunday. The job was completed very timely and they were very professional. Everything went very well and all of the people involved were pleasant and responsive. Dustin and his crew knew exactly what to do and when to do it and were able to finish what appeared to me to be a very difficult project in only three days. Their work included all of the details in crafting wood, packing up, hauling off, cleaning up, and even moving some heavy pieces of furniture. In addition, they placed felt strips underneath the legs of heavy furniture. Their ability to communicate with each other and make sure that the work went forward both skillfully and efficiently really impressed me. Also, Jeff's painting was absolutely tops. I have beautiful floors now and highly recommend Wade Tiller and Advanced Residential Rehab.
Description of Work: Wade Tiller made all of the arrangements for installing 800+ square feet of hardwood flooring in my home, including installing 300' of shoe moulding, painting, cleaning up, hauling, and communicating between all of the craftsmen and laborers. He also arranged for ProSource to provide the materials for installation. Incidentally, their wood is beautiful and their showroom is like an art gallery.

I got a call back right away after contacting the office with my inquiry. The caller was extremely helpful. He said this project was beyond what he normally did but he could (and did) supply the names of two people he could recommend. He was kind enough to text my information to the one person I selected so that I did not even need to place a second call. We won't be doing a project wth AAA Advanced Rstoration this time, but I would certainly call back for any project closer to the usual painting, flooring and restoation they customarily do.

after looking on angieslist i seen where this company had reports of A. so i called wade and told him what i wanted. wallpaper off and walls ready to paint. he quoted me over the phone and i agreed to the job and set up a date.his worker was on time and ready.he said "NO PROBLEM, HAVE IT OFF IN A COUPLE OFF HOURS''. eight hours later he seen where the work couldn't get done and i had to set up another day for completion.i started to get the feel on the second day that there were worries that they were losing money on the job.after the work was done, my bathroom is far from being ready to paint.the wallpaper is down, but the repair work to the walls is shoddy at best.where paper got ripped off and towel bars were broken off the wall. the worker used spackle instead of drywall mud for repair. and where the towel bars were broken, you can see the repair patches plainly.i called wade to discuss my concern, but he backed off from his work because he got beat on the price and offered me to send someone else to make repairs at a additional cost of 250 dollars.who in there right mind would want wallpaper torn down and have ripped up drywall and torn off towel bars after the job is finished. i guess he felt no need to satisfy me in this matter except to get more money.at least he could have worn a mask and stuck a gun to my back. i would have felt better.oh, by the way, i also have to enact more clean up as well.clean up was a B-

90% of the time wallpaper is not a huge deal. The other 10% is no fun. I quoted you an average on a days work for one man. A bathroom the size of yours would usually have been around 500-600$ for the removal. We did the whole job at 300$. Then my guy had to return the next day for another few hours, no big deal, we knew you had a very tight budget to work with. I explained to you on the phone that major drywall repair is never included in the removal price. When we talked I asked if you needed me to send a drywall guy, and that he would be extra. You said you would take care of it. To remove approx 200sf of difficult wallpaper, repair and skim walls using a drywall professional would be around 600-800$. We appreciate the work but we have to make some money. Sorry you were satisfied. Let me know if there is something I can do to help you. Thanks again. Wade.

It was okay. The end result is an excellent flat beautiful floor where we have found only one board in the hallway that has a little creak. The end result is great. Process: Would have prefered that they were more careful in making sure the hallway was flat on the first day so we would not have had to spend an entire fourth day waiting for the job to be finished. Would have prefered they were more careful not to leave shoe scuff marks on my walls. There was a splatter pattern of something on one place and glue on a couple of places on the wall also. Yes, I was able to wipe the majority of them off afterwards with the help of Wade. I appreciate that they did do the job right by taking the time to fix the flattening of the floors and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. The estimate was just a flat rate with no breakdown. We had to email back and forth a few times after giving me the breakdown and came to a final price. If you want a breakdown to get the price per square foot, etc you will just need to ask for it. I chose Wade because of his top rating with Angie's List and because the other references stated he would follow up on problems and make sure it was done right. I have no idea if I paid too much because I didn't get other estimates. Mistake on my part, next time I will at least get other estimates for a job. I would recommend Wade's flooring crew. The end result is excellent. Update 3/7/2016 The flooring still looks great! No problems ever developed.
Description of Work: We had 620 square feet of engineered flooring installed. It took from 10/3-6 to complete the job. Three guys were on time and worked well. There was a lot of flattening of the floor to be done after removing carpet and glue on the entire first day. The second day they placed 3/4 of the living room and all of the dining room. On third day they began laying the rest of the floor, got to the hallway and realized they had not completly flattened it so quickcrete was placed and waited for that to dry. In the mean time transitions and shoe molding were placed in the dining and living room. After the flooring dried they placed wood up until about the last 4'X4' area and ran out of glue. On the fourth day they sent one guy to finish the job which also included placing the transitions and shoe molding for the hallway. The painters came at 1pm to pain the baseboards and shoe molding and began painting the dining room and living room. They were able to follow right behing the flooring guy and paint the hallway baseboards and shoe molding as he finished. In the evening another fellow returned and cut the bottom of one door to fit over the transition, replaced the door and buffed the floor.
