Very good work but missed some damage had to come back to fix, makes promises of coming out makes excuses or why they don't show. Did provide excellent work when it was completed. Offered warranty on roof good to have in case some thing is wrong

work completed in a timely manner especially considering all the hurricane damaged roofs- it was not an insurance job and had been quoted before the storm workers showed up each day and were polite and kept a clean worksite two issues were reported however it took a couple of weeks for Crown to respond there was a row of shingles that were at least two inches out of line and also all the gutters were full of roofing debris. An employee came and fixed the out line shingles however did NOT clean out the gutters. Only took the debris I had cleaned as he was not told to clean them. No one called to see if we were satisfied and no on has come to clean the gutters. Very disappointed since this was a an expensive project and thought I had picked a good company.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with this provider. My roof was replaced in 2013 and soon after began to have problems. They were responsive the first time with a leak in the garage, shortly after installation. Approximately 3 years later they were called about a leak in the chimney and this is when the problem started. They came out and sent a representative who agreed the flashing was incorrect and found several other problems with the roof. I never heard back and ultimately was told that individual was no longer with the company. I then saw a guy on the roof attempting to calk around the problem but that was not sufficient. They added flashing but again the leak was not resolved and the other issues were never addressed. Ultimately they stopped responding to my calls and I had to contact the warranty company. The warranty company sent two independent inspectors and their own and ultimately determined that the entire roof needed to be replaced and did so shortly before hurricane Matthew. The other issues included inferior spacing of nails, incorrect number of nails in shingles pursuant to guidelines and nails in the waterline which would ultimately rust and cause leaking. The warranty company had no response from A Crown when attempting to resolve the issue and made the decision unilaterally to replace the roof. A Crown disputes each and every allegation. Be that as it may I simply did not want another homeowner to have to go through this bad experience.

Wonderful experience from initial interview and quote, through installation and completion. The GAF roofing "system" is among the best choices in a roofing product.

It was fine. The work was excellent.

There was a portion of the roof that they didn't complete for lack of materials. They had to come back and finish up on that...after a couple of reminders. That is why they don't get an A because they should have been back within a day or two and that didn't happen. It was a good week after I called. It is a pretty good price I think. Once I reminded them what wasn't done or what I needed done, it was pretty responsive. I didn't get a lot of conversation between the workers and myself. I think they did a decent job...probably would use them again but I would still go looking around.

Our experience was similar to the more recent ones. My brother and I received an estimate for our mom?s roof and we asked A Crown Roofing to perform the work. We experienced many broken appointments. We continued to call, received numerous promises that they would come over to pull the county permit but almost 2 months passed and they never showed up. Finally, someone came over and pulled the county permit but never contacted us after pulling the permit. We bugged the office for answers but no one would respond. Finally, a new POC indicated that the estimate was too low and they would be willing to perform the work if we paid more. We were willing to pay a little more and continued to contact them to start the work but they were unresponsive. Finally, the new POC told us that the company was no longer in the roofing business. We realize now that we were silly to wait so long, but it would have been nice if they had been upfront about their intent from the beginning.

Over one week after they were initially scheduled to come to my home I noticed a gentleman in my yard with a ladder and he proceeded to tell me he fixed the leak in my roof this past Wednesday. I had no idea they had been at my house. In fact I had called a different roofing company and they were there at the same time as A Crown Roofing. They seem to do whatever they want whenever they want without any communication with the customer.

The gentleman that came out to our home to give us an estimate was Steve Chisholm. He was awesome to work with! We feel the price was very good. He was very knowledgeable and the first thing he said was to NEVER EVER have shingles applied on top of existing shingles. This is something that we had already done and my mother was considering having done. When we were getting the roof replaced, there was a lot of rot damage and so they had to replace several of those areas. The crew was AWESOME! There was a lot of work to be done on my roof and they had it completed all within a day and 3hrs. I can't say enough about how good A Crown Roofing was and I would highly recommend them to anyone! In fact, I recommended them to my mother and she is scheduled to have her roof done on Monday!

From start to finish I was very happy with the company. A Crown Roofing makes a real effort to treat the customer well. I felt they were honest and straightforward and I would use them again. The word to best describe this company is "professional." They may not be the cheapest roofing company, but I would guess they are one of the best, it not the best in Jacksonville. Their connection with GAF and the warranties that come with that were also important considerations in my decision to use them.

very professional company !! Steve Chisholm the manager handled all the details and was very attentive to our needs. Installation went smoothly and the installers were efficient and very careful to make sure no damage was done to our landscaping. I was especially appreciative of their thorough cleanup after the job was done. I would highly recommend this company!!!!

The work was done in a day and a half by a group of workers that seemed very experienced and working in unison. Cleaning was done efficiently and the two problems that arose were taken care of by Mr. Waters immediately. Very happy with the job.

I first meet with Mike. His professionalism and thoroughness far exceeded 7 other estimates I received. His crew was efficient and respectful. Our home was left clean and the work looks amazing. I met with Mike Waters from A Crown Roofing to discuss the new roof on my garage addition and the reroofing of the remainder of my house. Mike showed up on time and was very professional. He took the time to explain the entire reroofing process. Additionally, I asked Mike to quote a price for reroofing my detached workroom. The quote for all the work was very reasonable and Mike helped coordinate financing for all the work. The project lasted two days. I was around the house both days and was able to watch the entire effort. The roofers were an awesome team and I was impressed from start to finish. The roof on my house and workroom look great. The clean-up was thorough. Mike checked in with me throughout both days to ensure I was happy with all the work. Finally, within a couple of days of completing work, Mike stopped by and explained the GAF Golden Pledge Warranty and the Roofs for Troops rebate process. Mike then sent me the Wind Mitigation forms and photos which will reduce my homeowners insurance. It was a pleasure to work with Mike the professionals at A Crown Roofing. I most strongly recommend them.

FABULOUS!! Mike Waters was punctual, courteous, a true professional as was everybody at A Crown Roofing. We were sold from the first time we met with Mike. He educated us thoroughly on roofing and patiently helped us finalize our choices. The crew came as promised, on time. At the end of the work day, they were very diligent about leaving the work area tidy, making sure to pick up all nails and construction debris. Upon completion, Mike walked the job with us and provided the release of lien and warranty documentation. We will recommend this firm at every opportunity! Only pity is the system will not allow for us to add ++++++ to their grade and that they only do roofing work......

Very well, make sure you have them go over your yard again and again for stray roofing nails, and after they are finished do not walk through your yard barefoot until you have walked the yard several times.

Written estimate was presented to me with explanations of options such as extended warranty and ridge vent. Representative, Mike Waters, was courteous, professional, informative and helpful. Price was fair and I accepted the proposal; work was scheduled for the following week. Work crew arrived promptly as scheduled and got to work. Plants around the house were protected with tarps and periodic clean-up was done as work progressed. The work crew was courteous and professional, and answered my questions as work was done. The entire job was completed in a day and a half. The finished work looks very good and upgrades the appearance of the house. I am very pleased with the work and I would gladly recommend A Crown Roofing to anyone who needs residential re-roofing work done.

A, Crown was referred to me by a neighbor who was getting an estimate from them. They came to my house and gave me a quote for the work. They were available the next day and completed the work at that time. Supervision and work were excellent and price was as quoted. Their repair work stood up to very heavy rains this summer with no leaks or other problems. I would use them again.

My roof looks absolutely beautiful. This company is wonderful. They took care of everything and helped me a great deal. The workers were cordial and did a beautiful job. They were neat and cleaned up after themselves, and they cared about my safety. I highly recommend their services.
