The experience working with Reef Pavers and Trey Jones was frustrating to say the least. The scheduling, responsiveness and professionalism of Reef Pavers would grade out as an F in my book. For example, the job started 3 days later than promised. When my wife called Trey Jones to get an update, he was not very responsive. He finally showed up to remove the existing concrete driveway just before the weekend but left before laying the brick pavers. Our driveway stayed this was (ripped up) through the weekend with very little contact from Reef Pavers on when the job would continue. We were promised that the following Monday, the brick pavers would be installed. By 12:00 noon on Monday, my wife had not heard from the company and so I got involved and called the company myself. Spoke with Trey Jones and he indicated he would be there within 3 hours to begin the install. 3 hours !?! It was already noon. Anyway, I didn't protest and told him I looked forward to him finishing the job that day. Well 3:30pm rolled around and no Reef Pavers ! Finally at 3:50pm, Reef Pavers shows up, dumps a pale of sand in my driveway and leaves along with a voicemail message that they will be back in the morning to start the job. Incredibly frustrating at this point. Job was finished the next day (Tuesday) and I scheduled with Reef Paves to seal the brick pavers a couple of weeks later, July 1st when I would be back in Florida. Due to rain, the pavers were not sealed on July 1st and so I expected the sealer would be applied the next clear day. No, instead I am told he could seal almost a whole week later. In fact Trey Jones' own words ... "You can expect all you want, I have a schedule too." Blew me away !!! ... my response "Great attitude. Very customer friendly". He did not like that and indicated I was acting as if I was his "only customer". No, I just expected to be treated "like a customer." Needless to say, I could not waste any more time trying to work with this company and contracted the sealer job elsewhere (even in light of Trey's threat that by doing so would void his warranty). I will admit that both my wife and I do like the look of our new driveway but it is too early to evaluate the quality. Having said that, we would not use Reef Pavers ever again. Their approach to customer service, responsiveness to standard inquiries and cavalier, rude attitude was far more than we will ever tolerate again. You pay good money for a product/service, you expect to be treated fairly as a customer. Reef Pavers did none of this !

They did a good job. The owner was very polite, the work that they could get was a small job. He actually left the job first time and he did not communicate with me.
