John's company is punctual, cleaning our pool each Tuesday. Our pool is sparkling and ALWAYS clean. What I love most is that they leave a note to tell me exactly what was done, how much or IF any chemicals were needed and exactly what the ph level of the pool is. I also love his newsletter that comes with each month's bill. It is full of timely information and things to consider to help keep my pool at it's best. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended company!

We have been using Adkins Pool Service for about 2 years. The pool is always clean and I do not have to worry about buying and storing chemicals. Very friendly and reliable service.

Mr. Adkins himself signed me up and his initial visit was very informative. He does this work because he enjoys pools and he is a pool owner himself. His approach is informative but low key, low pressure. His helper came as scheduled and I can always tell when the pool service has been here even before I find the visit notes that he leaves on the back porch. I would definitely recommend Adkins.

Have a salt water pool with automated chlorinator and muriatic acid pump. The service is good and the price is reasonable and John is very easy to get in touch with. Have had cheaper service but the reliability has not been as good. John and his daughter clean the filter regularly and have been keeping the pool quite clean and the filter working reliably. The price is a little high and there have been occasions when they have not had salt and put chlorine in the pool, something we would prefer was not done but all-in-all we are quite pleased with the service.

John removed the filters, took them to another vendor for repair, reinstalled them, and then cleaned the pool. He was very friendly and professional. He called about 2 weeks after the work to make sure that everything was working okay.

John is dependable, always lets us know if he is going to have to change his schedule in any way. We like his "less is more" attitude when it comes to chemicals. I have been using John Adkins for over 1 year. He is the 5th pool service I have used since I purchased my home, 17 years ago, and he is far and away the best!. No more green water, no more burning eyes from chlorine shock.. If there is a problem, he goes ahead and fixes it. He saved me $$ by arranging to have my Polaris fixed, rather than replacing it, like my previous service wanted to do. He gives you a weekly note, showing you what he did and the amount of chemicals used. His monthly, itemized statement shows you your basic charge per week and the extra charge for chemicals. I like that because he will not skimp with chemicals like the other services did. Now my pool is always in tip-top shape.

Very well. I found John this Spring through Angie's list. We saw evidence of black mold in our pool and neither my husband or myself were willing. I believe it was a Saturday when I called him and he came out that afternoon (which shocked me)! John even started the treatment that day and said he'd be back on Monday (which he was). He quickly got rid of the mold and offered a very reasonable weekly maintenance service. Since then, we've had problems maintaining the correct chlorine levels and John put in extra time to try and get to the heart of the problem. I feel like John really takes pride in his job. I would definitely recommend him.

Have been very happy with John's service and he takes all the time needed to answer any questions I have and to do a little extra follow up if I notice something. Adkins comes and cleans our pool on an weekly basis. We don’t have a time set up just a day and he is always there and the pool looks great.

Great as usual. My pool has never been better since using John, several years now. Chemicals included are at more than reasonable cost. Never a complaint. He's also good with all my dogs and they have never escaped John is meticulous and knows what he is doing. Wonderful guy

I needed a reliable pool service to take care of my 10k gallon pool while I deployed. I have large oak trees all around my yard and the leaves have been my nemesis for the past few years as I've done my own maintenance. Adkins has been extremely easy to deal with. Their estimate/quote was exactly what they have charged. I am paying $25 per visit plus a few dollars for fuel, and a few dollars for chemicals (no more than what you would pay for chemicals at a store). The price is very reasonable for the quality of service! They are here for maybe an hour or so, and my pool is cleaner and better looking than what I was able to do after hours and hours of work! Either they are really good at what they do or I am not the greatest pool maintainer. Either way, they have done an outstanding job and I would recommend them to anyone. So much so that I plan to keep them, saving me a lot of time and headaches. Thanks Adkins!!!

He showed up on time weekly but the quality of his workmanship was poor. I tested the pool twice the day after he balanced my pool at 2 different pool stores and they both said the same thing. The chlorie was extremely low and several other tests failed too. Spent $130 worth of chemicals to balance out the pool. Also had to tell him to clean the pool tiles.....just poor quality work. Would not recommend

John has been coming and doing the pool for a month now, and the water is fabulous looking! He is meticulous to detail, gave me the very suggestions I was looking for (as a test). My pool has never looked better and my equipment is being well taken care of. He leaves me a detailed note each time and always discusses whatever my needs are.
