Description of Work: Over a month since we first contacted them and the work was only partially done. The contractor managing the job was in and out for medical reasons and is currently said to be so again. Another representative of the company said they were unable to meet the agreements the former contractor made with us and is therefore quitting the job. They left plastic bags taped to holes left on incomplete woodwork repairs and said we did not have to pay.

+ 0 morePunctuality was not good, however I said I was more interested in price, so he could fit me in where he could. Price quoted was $800-1300. However, termites were found inside and we had to replace more wood than expected, so he worked with me on price, but it was about 50% more than higher end of quote. 4 months later a hairline crack appeared and I asked for it to be fixed. It was as "warranty work" free of charge, but took about 4 weeks to complete.
Description of Work: Crack in chimney extended on outside wall. They replaced wood underneath stucco and then replaced stucco and repaint.

+ 2 moreOverall it went great. I felt John gave great customer service and the end result was a home we can be proud of. John was very responsive to my emails, texts and calls. And unlike other sales folks that tend to disappear after acceptance of an estimate, he checked in on the projects at various time from start to finish. Of course, during home projects some things don't look right during the process. Each time, I brought that up John would "make it right". He definitely has pride in his work and has a hearty personality ... definitely made me and and my wife laugh a few times. You should check out the company's Facebook page. I hope John's company makes it as a Angie's list Preferred Service Provider and definitely recommend them to anyone that needs exterior repairs. 4/11/13 Update - We listed our home April 2 and got two offers within the first two days. I'm so glad we went with McIntyre because we got accepted offer 5k above our listing price!!! Thanks John.
Description of Work: Please see the photos of estimates of what they did... too much too type. Areas included stucco repairs, siding repairs, deck repairs, door jamb repairs and exterior painting. They repaired all exterior defects on an home inspection reports. It took about a business week to get all things done and I'm very happy I used McIntyre Stucco services.

Description of Work: Cleaned exterior, repaired cracks & sealed stucco, then painted exterior walls and shutters. Whis he had carried off the left over paint. I know I paid for it but it just sits in the way in the garage and/or I have to houl it to a dump site that accepts that type of product. Otherwise hea nd his crew were pleasant to have work for us.

+ 1 moreJohn McIntyre was very responsive and took a lot of time to investigate the cause of our problems and explain what he was going to do and why he recommended doing it.. He and his crew turned up on time every day and worked non-stop until they quit around 6pm - and then cleaned up diligently after themselves. The quality of painting (one waterproof coat and two top coats of Loxon XP) has resulted in a beautiful finish and we are very pleased with the painting outcome, as well as the quality of the stucco repairs - the repairs are invisible and match the original finish very well. You would never know it had been badly damaged. I would have no hesitation in recommending McIntyre Stucco and Painting. Incidentally, I found no way to include this review in two categories (Painting as well as Stucco), but would have liked to post it in both categories.
Description of Work: I had several large areas of stucco that had delaminated and others that were cracked.. Additionally, exterior decorative stucco bands needed to have bevels added (omitted by original stucco company - and they had become the source of leaks that damaged the original stucco). The entire house also needed waterproofing and painting. Though the most expensive paint out there, we decided on the basis of research and multiple reviews to apply Loxon XP.
