Christian family movers and storage called our family in N. Y. and gave them a pick up time. They were on time and very professional. The furniture was expected in Florida by Monday and was on time and delivered by personable professional movers, Every piece of furniture was wrapped in blankets and everything was perfect. You will not be disappointed, their fees were more than fair and their services were perfect. In addition, they carefully assembled the furniture and put it in place! Excellent service!
Description of Work: Christian family moving and storage picked up a dining room set for us in NY, and safely delivered it to Florida in a very timely manner. Everything was delivered in fact and wrapped ever so carefully. The furniture belonged to family. So it was also picked up by respectful and careful staff. We absolutely recommend this company for any of your moving needs.

They were to arrive at our new home May 7 between 10-11 am. Actual arrival was close to 3 pm because they went to our old residence. They arrived tired from the drive and were in a rush to get unloaded and get home. In February an office desk with credenza disassembled and was to be assembled upon move in, no one can locate the bolts needed to assemble. Also all items could not fit on the truck so they were left behind. We refused to make the final payment until the remaining items were delivered. The owner delivered the 2nd load 2 days later, unfortunately we made the final payment, we then found we were missing a teak rocking chair and a dollie. Later we noticed our 2 Trek 2200 bicycles were also missing. The owner made great promises - he would get back with us Monday and have someone bring the missing items and assemble the office desk/credenza. Numerous phone calls have not been returned including messages left on the owners cell phone. All l want not is insurance claim forms and can't even get those.
Description of Work: Items were picked up from my home in Redington Shores FL and placed into their storage facility in September 2014. Final items and furniture were picked up February 28, 2015 and placed into their storage facility in Crystal River FL. Mid April I notified them of our final move date, May 7, 2015.

The whole process was awful. The movers showed up a half and hour after they were scheduled to arrive. One mover was in slides (which I feel is unprofessional and inappropriate moving shoes, due to the possibility of injury). Upon arrival I escorted the gentlemen through the house for explanation of items being moved. There were two children's rooms, minimal household furniture (NO APPLIANCES) and numerous boxes, move was due to domestic split. A little over an hour of movers arrival, (I was packing items due to situation) I realized only minimal amounts of furniture and boxes had been removed from house and placed in moving truck. I went through the explanation process again of items needing to be removed and the importance of the minimal time frame to remove items from home. The movers then moved at a slightly faster pace but after another 1+ hour, gentlemen explained to me that there was to much weight on the truck and they couldn't take much more. Once the items they would take were loaded, they stated they needed to stop for lunch (after working less than 3 hours). They were at McDonald's for almost an hour when I called their management office to complain. At the time the office manager attempted to explain to me there was going to be additional charges due to the time quoted and what the perceived time of job completion would be. I explained to her the movers showed up late (I had called the office when the were 20 minutes late) and that it was not my responsibility to cover their lunch break for a job that was quoted and scheduled for four hours. We came to the agreement to discuss any additional charges at the completion of the job. They arrived at storage facility shortly thereafter, I had already reserved a storage unit I was confident would hold the items I wanted to place in storage (I have moved numerous times over my adult years). I left them to unload and pack storage unit, while I returned to house to retrieve numerous left items, only to find furniture from children's rooms still in bedrooms and many packed boxes left behind. When I returned to storage with my first of many car loads, they movers had insufficiently packed storage unit leaving appx. two feet to ceiling and a more than acceptable amount of space in and around items placed in storage. I was completely unsatisfied with their lack of professional. I cancelled the additional location the movers were originally schedule to make with items my children and I needed immediately and rented an additional storage unit. I asked them to finish placing items remaining on truck in the rear of second unit so I could move place items still at the house in the unit upon my numerous remaining trips and have room to move about to reorganize both units. Upon, returning to storage unit (with another carload of item) the movers had placed a formal dining room table upside down on a desk in the very front of storage unit. They told me they had emptied the truck and were finished. I asked if there were any additional charges, as it was a half an hour over the quoted time (minus the tardiness and lunch break). SLIDE GUY stated there were no additional charges he was informed of by office manager upon calling in completion of job. I signed the receipt and circled total in middle of contract marking it paid in full! The very next the office staff began calling me and leaving voice messages that I needed to call and make payment on the remaining balance (which she stated was an additional 1 1/2 hours), or the owner would be contacting me; she also stated she wasn't threatening me, just suggesting I handle the matter before the owner contacted me. I waited for the owner to contact me and have yet to hear from said person!
Description of Work: Load and move a minimal amount of furniture, transport and pack storage unit (which ended up being two units)
