Description of Work: Frank has done work for me before. I had a leak in the pool which I could not find and he came by and attempted to find and fix it but could not find it. He recommended another company which came by and fixed the problem. Frank would not even charge me for his time which I would have been happy to pay for.

+ -1 moreWhat he found was that I needed a new Oring so he replaced that. He also said that the filter was dirty and we made an appt for him to clean that at another time, as he hadn't set aside time for that additional task. I was very pleased with his work and his professionalism. There is no longer any dampness around the pool pump and after two weeks of observation I am not losing significant water.
Description of Work: I called him because I had been losing water from the pool. The leak detection company I called was gracious enough to tell me that my best bet was to first call this man, because I had noticed signs of a leak around the pump, and it would be a better bet to start there than with the pool itself. So he made an appointment with me, arrived punctually on the day/time we set. I showed him the pump equipment, which is set in a flower bed, and he was wonderful to not step on any plantings or lilies that surround the pad.

+ -1 moreOn the day that he returned, my husband made himself available to observe the replacement work on the filter so that he could better understand the need for ongoing timely maintanence of the unit. He completed the work in the morning, again protecting my lily bed from damage from pool waste water and foot tred, and the pool now looks marvelous. It was an expensive lesson, but I believe he kept my costs to a minimum and helped me tremendously in taking better care of the system. He's a good honest person and I recommend his work with no hesitation.
Description of Work: I had called previously for a service call for the leaking pool pump, which he fixed and at which time I was very encouraged by his professionalism and honest assessment of my system. We agreed that the filter was way past being cleaned. We agreed upon a day a week prior to this date for the repair. When he showed up that day, he set to work taking the filter apart, but came and got me immediately. Due to my neglect of the system, breaks had occured in the balleen type filter panels, allowing DE to get into the water, and causing an inefficient filtering of the water. He explained why this would be expensive - how much the panels cost individually and how many I would need to replace. He didn't carry that particular equipment with him, so we agreed on another day (above) the following week for him to return and complete the job.

Description of Work: Cleaned filter,repaired leak on pipe near motor,put in new gaskets where needed. Cleaned up. Get an estimate from anyone for your pool problem,then call him and see.
