Duncan & Son Plumbing

On a Monday afternoon, I called another number and left a message. They never called back. I asked my neighbor who they use for plumbing needs, and they highly recommend. Mitch Duncan Plumbing. The next morning at 8:10 am I called Duncan and was cheerily answered. I explained my situation and was told there would be someone at my home by 9 am, and they were. Jeff and Rex arrived at 8:55 am and immediately set to work. The assessed the job, proposed their plan and got busy. Within one hour they were finished and cleaned up. They were professional, knowledgeable, police, informative and quick. They left the bathroom with a fully working toilet and in tidy condition. The price was very fair. Thank You for a great job. We are very pleased and will highly recommend Duncan to anyone needing a plumbers help .

Even though they were very busy and understaffed, Mister Duncan himself came out to inspect the leak the day after I called. He told me that he would have one of his staff come the next day, and even if they were all unavailable, he himself would come to fix the leak. The very next morning, one of Mr. Duncan's gents showed up, fixed the problem faster than we thought possible, proving himself to be friendly and efficient - the best combination. I was very much impressed with the service and will be keeping their business card on my fridge in case anything pops up in the future.

It was an excellent experience. Service person was here on time. He evaluated the job and got right to work. He didn't rush the job but carefully went about each step of the removal process and install of a new gate valve. Very impressive. He removed the water softener from the house and took it with him to dispose of it.

Installed new dishwasher and set up plumbing. Plumber did a good job at a fair price. He wasn't able to take the old dishwasher though.

Plumbing repair was carried out quickly, correcting the issue of no water being delivered to the tub/shower.

Decided to use a general contractor who could do the entire job instead of just the plumbing work.

Service was fast and professional, and the workmen did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves when they were finished.

It went very well. This was a handicapped bathroom that was remolded a year ago, which was also the age of the toilet. They were great, found the problem and corrected it the same day.

Gave a price of 135.00 to install but final price became 250.00 because certain work was and quot;not includedand quot; in initial |estimate.

I Called Don's Plumbing based on the reviews on Angie's list, they were courteous, professional, responsive to my needs. They replaced a 2 toilets that were continuously running, and with every flush I had to hold the handle until all was washed away. They were prompt, cheerful and courteous (they even disposed of the old toilets for me). They completely go above and beyond. They warranty their work and nothing has ever gone wrong.

They were very, very good. He was rated highly and he did an excellent job! They are highly professional and very skilled. They were absolutely outstanding! Their price was right in the ball park of other plumbers. He actually was in 10 min early. The young man was just first class.

Everything about them was fabulous and their price was reasonable. We would definitely use them again. We have referred them to other people as well.

ok. However, new sink stoppers do not drain well and plumber offered no solution. I found longer stopper pulls and will call plumber to try this for a solution

Their service was fair. The responsiveness was excellent. The personnel was very courteous and personable.

Very disappointed on the way things have turned out. He was recommended highly by a family member and by your site. He never returned original call to his answering service, but I called again a few days later on April 16th and he came right over and gave me an estimate and took measurements and I okayed the job. When I hadn't heard back in a week I called and was told he hadn't heard from his cabinet maker. I waited another week and was told he had a lot of emergencies and still hadn't heard from his cabinet guy and would call back soon. On May 14th two weeks later I got a call from a cabinet guy wanting to come out and measure, so I called the plumber who said he would be out also that day. The cabinet man came and measured and I picked my colors and said he was under the impression that the plumber was going to get the whole bathroom done that week. The plumber never showed that day or called since and either has the cabinet guy and it's 2 1/2 weeks later. It's been over 6 weeks with me constantly calling to find out what's going on and getting nowhere, so I'm giving up. I had tried to plan this all out in April to be done in May since I knew I would be out on medical leave the whole month of May and now it's June 1st tomorrow and I will soon be back to work and no longer at home to get this done. Very disappointed!!

He's excellent. He's reliable and he knows what he's doing. He is friendly and nice. Everything is good about him. It's an ongoing thing and I always call him. He's very good. He's just efficient. He comes, does his work and he does not make a mess. He comes when he says he's going to come. If I feel it's an emergency, he comes right away and does not make me wait. The men are clean because I've had other plumbers come but these guys are presentable and nice. They get the job done which is the bottom line and I don't have to call them back for that one particular thing. His prices are reasonable. He's very good.

We were pleased with their service. They came out on time, and they worked on the problems. They were able to complete their job.

Called on 2/12 to make an appointment have this done. They called us back right away and we were able to schedule for the following day, 2/13. James and Jeff were right on time. They finished the job without any hitches. They were professional and courteous. I have been trying to find a plumber in our area for quite some time and I was very please with the both the job they did. I think we have found the plumber that we need for any future plumbing problem or project.

Toilet in master bath was wobbling. Called and heard back from Duncan on same day. He also came out that same afternoon and installed a new wax ring under the toilet and regrouted. Quick response, fair price, excellent job. Would definitely use again.

I called late the previous week and asked for a price to install a new faucet. My old one had broken and Delta provided a new one free under their lifetime warranty. (We had been coping okay until the new faucet arrived, but -- while not an emergency -- we did want it installed as soon as practical.) Duncan and Son's service people were in the field when I called, but their answering service promised a call-back soon. They were true to their word and set up an appointment for the following Tuesday. Their policy is that they would handle emergencies first, but would set the time first thing in the morning. They actually called again Monday and said they could come over shortly. They did and they did the work efficiently and well. Their charge was exactly as estimated. The plumber who did the work was courteous, clean and competent. I would use Duncan and Sons again!

Early on the morning of 08/08/12 my mother, who is in a wheelchair, fell against the handicap toilet in their rental home and the tank broke at the base (she is okay thank God). Since they live in a rental and we didnt know any plumbers, I contacted the property manager and explained what had happened. I was on my way to take my father and mother to a doctor's appointment in Ocala and was told that someone from Duncan and Son would be calling me to set up time for them to come by. Within the hour, Mitch Duncan called me on my cell phone and asked me if we had already purchase the toilet or did we need them to buy it for us. I explained that we were in Ocala at the doctor's office and if he could purchase the toilet for us that would be great as it would save us a trip. He told me to just give him a call when we were back from Ocala and he would have his first available employee out to replace the toilet that day. This was very much appreciated because my mother has an extremely difficult time using a regular toilet as it is too low to the ground for her and a handicap toilet is much higher. We were done in Ocala at 1:00 p.m. and I phoned Mr. Duncan when we were almost home. Within 2 hours I received the call that one of his men was in the area where my parent's live and just needed a few directions. Needless to say I was at my parents home today and saw the awesome work that was done. I especially noticed how nice the caulking was around the pedastal and the tile floor. My parents were very happy with everything he did especially with the fact that it was done the same day. I did not realize since that we would be respnsible for the bill (as my parents rent this home) and neglected to leave a check for my parents to pay once the work was done. However, upon finding this out I contacted Mr. Duncan, explained my error and he was very gracious and understanding and is coming by my house to pick up the check.
