Went very well. Explained problem over phone, tech picked up part he thought was the problem and it was exactly what needed to be replaced. We didn't have to wait for him to make another trip to order and pick up part. All done it one visit.

Description of Work: Had a dryer that wasn't drying. First guy came right on time, as scheduled, and he assessed the problem and scheduled two other repairmen to come out, one to vacuum out the duct and the other to replace the heater element. Overall, it meant that I had to wait for three different men to come by, but the work was done on schedule and the repairmen were good guys.

When I called Mr Rogers for an appointment I explained I could only schedule an appointment on a Saturday due to my work schedule. I also requested I be scheduled first on the list as I help my husband run a business and am very busy with those tasks on Saturdays. I was agreeable to a Saturday morning appointment and I was informed my window for service was from 9-11AM. I informed the scheduler I needed the technician to arrive at 9AM due to other appointments on my calendar. He assured me I was the first appointment on the schedule. On Friday, I received a confirmation call from Mr Rogers and again I was assured I was first on the list. I re-iterated I needed the technician to arrive at 9AM. Again, the caller stated I was first on the list and he sounded exasperated and curt. I told myself I was tired from work and shouldn't read into it. Here's what I got on Saturday. At 9:45AM, no technician and no call from Mr Rogers to advise the technician was running late etc. I called the office to see what was going on. The employee confirmed I was first on the list. I asked where the technician was as he had not yet arrived. The employee rudely said "Let me tell you something, our technicians are just arriving at the office at 9AM. When they are done here then they go the appointment." To which I replied "Then why did you tell me your technician could provide service at 9AM. Isn't the window really 10AM -12 noon? Again, I got the same exasperated and rude "Let me tell you something, we don't have control over traffic and the time of the traffic lights." I am NOT interested in traffic patterns or excuses. I AM interested in the time the technician is arriving at my home because I have other appointments to get to. Punctuality and consideration for the customer matters. No apology for miscommunications or anything else. Just excuses. Due to the tone and rudeness from the employee, I cancelled the appointment. About 5 minutes later my husband showed up as he had a cancellation. A rare occurrence and he offered to wait for the technician. I called back and got the same rude employee. He mentioned my appointment had been given to the second customer in line. No surprise there. He did offer to schedule another appointment for another day. No thanks. Mr Rogers would do well in training its employees on customer service, professionalism and time management. If you are looking for appliance repair and like being mistreated, call Mr Rogers.
