Our door works better than ever. It is quiet and the repairman said we should get another 5 years before we have to replace door. Precision showed up the following day and repaired. We were very pleased with technician, company and with Home Advisor for recommending them.

Very easy to work with. Garage door is larger than normal so they needed lead time to get door into inventory. Installation was completed prior to Hurricane Matthew. Door withstood test.

Casey Crane, has to be one of Precision Garage Door Best Technician! I received an email from another company telling me I was having safety beam issues and that it would cost $125 to fix with labor and parts. Turned out when Casey with Precision Garage Door came out and look down on both ends of the garage door, he immediately saw that one of the wire had detached from the garage handle or paddle. When shoving the small end of my ladder by the garage door it pulled the wire off the paddle therefore causing my garage door to not go down unless I hold the switch down until it closes completely. Casey put the wire back on the paddle and charged me only the $24.95 fee quote I had gotten for the service call. He notice how loud my garage door sound going up and down and went to his truck got some lubricant and oiled down all the springs, he also notice a missing bolt and replaced that with another one. He informed me that within the next 6 months I will need to replace the springs and other small parts and email me the bill with the breakdown of what I will need and the total cost. I can't help but wonder if I had the other company come out if he would had charged me for the safety beam issue since the problem was only the disconnected wire. I will never know I do know that I am happy I chose Precision Garage Door and that they dispatched Casey to come do the job. What a wonderful sweet Professional young man Casey is. He is certainly an assess to Precision. Thanks so much Casey and thank you Precision.

I received a quick phone response from Precision Door and the repairman came out very quickly. The repairman, ROBERT STEPHENSON, started out by stating what a crappy door I had. Loved to hear himself talk. Was REALLY interested in selling me a new door and complete door opener. After about a half hour, I finally got him to address my actual problem. When he did, it only took him about 10 minutes to correctly diagnose and repair the problem (bare wire on sensor needed to be wrapped with electrical tape). This repaired my main problem. My secondary problem was that the overhead light would not turn off. Mr. Stephenson told me that because my door failed the "balance test", this indicated that the springs were weakening and the weight of the door was causing a strain on the main electrical circuit board in the opener. The only true fix would be to buy a new door and opener.

I did my home work and some of the information I used was provided by Precision. The price was double what I expected from Precision's info on line. The young man was a hard worker, but he couldn't do a repair I asked for, and tried to UpGrade my equipment with a feature I didn't need. I finally agreed to the upgrade, because he was persistent.

Casey replaced weather strip and checked entire door for problems. He was prompt and courteous. I would use Precision again.
