+ -1 moreHe was courteous, meticulous, very neat and didn't rush to finish even though the heat index was in triple digits. He also really didn't want to accept payment until he was sure I had a chance to look at it and was satisfied. My wife and I were extremely satisfied with the work and the cost: you get what you're willing to pay for. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: Pressure washed fascia, soffits and exterior of house with mold and mildew stain remover. Backed out hurricane panel screws to prevent them from being bonded to the house, removed window screens, caulked around windows then applied a clear sealer. Applied Benjamin Moore Aura acrylic latex paint to body of house. Sanded rust from steel front door and applied rust inhibitor primer and 2 coats of paint. Applied a spray coat of paint to double wide steel garage door. Painted below lawn level on all walls. He didn't follow the old painter's mantra "if it doesn't move, paint it" and only painted the TV cable box which was showing signs of deterioration. He didn't paint the receptacle covers, the faucets or the telephone box, which I appreciated.

+ -1 moreI interviewed three painters and Marks bid was the same as one of the others but I was impressed with his demeanor and experience. He originally estimated a 5 week period before he could start but due to a change in plans he was able to start sooner. He carefully prepped the area and protected all my furniture while he painted. He was very punctual and worked hard all the time he was here with only a short break for lunch. He cleaned up each night and did a great job. Mark is a hard worker, a skilled craftsman, and a very pleasant individual. I would highly recommend Mark and will use him again if I have the need.
Description of Work: Painted Great room, kitchen, dining area, utility room, two bathrooms and Master bedroom. Two coats on walls and all trim and doors.

+ 0 moreMr. Wainwright showed up on jobsite and evaluated the items to quote. He was timely in delivering quote and flexible when changes were made during the construction process. He got along extremly well with other contractors and made suggestions along the way for the options in paint types. He proposed the right product for each application. He completed the work as proposed and completed work before requesting payment. The best experience with a painter I have ever had.
Description of Work: Mr. Wainwright painted ceilings, outside decks, trim, doors, walls and exterior walls. He was professional, on time, within price quoted, extremely competant, and great attitude on the jobsite.

+ -1 moreHis price included top quality Sherwin Williams paint. I just sold a house in Dayton, OH and a number of contractors helped me, but I have never dealt with such a professional. He was prompt, he let us know when he was leaving for lunch, He did an absolutely meticulous painting job and even used a shop-vac to clean his own mess! He even cleaned up about half of what was left behind by another contractor, and fixed some paint that was ruined by the other contractor. This guy is really excellent.
Description of Work: He re-painted the inside of my new townhouse with the exception of two bathrooms and the Florida room. Roughly 1700 Square Feet.

Mark Wainwright LLC offers the following services: Mark Wainwright LLC is a professional painting company that offers custom interior painting and select exterior painting. Interior includes comprehensive prep work before the application of product is applied. Prep includes pole-sanding of walls-drywall work if needed-extensive caulking to assure straight lines and only top of the line coatings. Exterior includes pressure washing along with paint.
Comprehensive drywall work, like entire rooms skip-trowled or orange peeled are not part of my business. Faux finish is not offered either.
