"The pricing was very good. The lowest I quote I had. The price was lowered initially by the female owner without me even asking. The communication was spotty initially and then non existent at the end. I give it to crew, they had an initial road block. Part of my walk way leading to my house was poured with the initial slab for the house. This made it super thick. The boys tried to chip at it but eventually the boss man had to come up with a new plan. The plan was good and it ended up being the best option. The issue I had was with the details. There was a 2 foot by 2 foot corner area that was done very poorly. By poorly I mean It looked like someone blind measured and did it. I have 2 to 3 inch gaps where the house meets the pavers. I have a down spout that is piped underground that had the same gaps. Instead of measuring and cutting pavers to spec, they just decided to used the pavers they already had. Because the pavers are set dimensions it left huge gaps that when you see it you just shake your head. The rest of the area is good but not above average. Some pavers are already starting to become unlevel. The portion was the last part in the day and it was getting dark. Because of this I believe they didn't want to cut pavers and just plopped the ones they had resulting in a ****** job. This allowed them to be done in one day and not come out another time. The issue is when I addressed this with the female owner she assured me it would be fixed. After 4 attempts which included 2 no call no shows I stopped asking them to fix it. Having little things to fix is very common but the great companies fix any to most issues after a job is done. At this point I already payed them in full so the urgency wasn't there. In the end I found out that the owners, a couple, were split and this ultimately affected the communication. The wife would quote and be the middle man and the husband, along with a crew would do the work. Because their personal relationship wasn't good it in the end resulted in poor communication and a job that still has issues needed to be addressed. I wouldn't recommend this company due to the personal side of their relationship affecting the business side. The information about the relationship was told to me by the wife herself which I thought was unprofessional."

"We found our original shower in our condo was shedding tiles and underneath great discoloration. David Hyatt was recommended by a friend as a contractor to contact. We did, he responded immediately, together we developed a complete gut of the master bathroom. He pulled the appropriate permits quickly, proceeded to do the demo portion quickly and then started the reconstruction to our specs. He was very conscious of protecting our apartment from dirt and dust, and we never had any problems. The only thing that slowed the process was the supply chain issues that started with Covid, and the number of other renovation projects in Vero Beach at the same time. The two minor blemishes we found upon completion were promptly remedied. I have also recommended them to a close friend for his rental house kitchen redo, and he was extremely satisfied with the outcome. I heartily recommend David Hyatt for your construction or restoration needs."

"Apex was absolutely awful to work with. I will never work with them again. It took them more than 6 months longer than projected to do the work. They forgot to submit the permit for 2 months. They didn't include things in the price that should have been included, and came back to nickel and dime afterwards. The submitted a new invoice almost a year later and threatened to put a lien on the house when I pushed back. They are terrible and I will tell everyone I can that."
