Seaside Sanitation

Seaside/Republic are the worst. They stink!....The worst. The service is horrible. They don't show up to pick up the trash usually until mid afternoon. Sometimes they show up at 4:00PM or 5:00PM. Often they don't show up AT ALL! Then the trash has to stay at the curb over night till the next day when they finally show up. The streets are lined with trash for 2 days till they come and pick up. If you use plastic trash bags you have to bring them back from the curb to the house so the animals, raccoons or whatever, don't tear them up and spill trash all over the place. Then you have to put them back at the curb again, the next day. You can always tell when Seaside/Republic Sanitation has been thru the neighborhood. You will see papers, plastic bottles, and other assorted trash spilled in the streets by the sloppy Seaside/Republic employees who carelessly toss the trash in the truck and always spill some in the street. And....They NEVER pick up what they spill. They leave it right there in the street. They're pigs.



Numerous phone calls to Seaside/Republic's office will get you nowhere. They ignore you, they don't care. Even tried the Regional Operations Supervisor, Sean Shaw. Left him messages regarding the problems numerous times. He never returned my calls, even once. Seaside also goes by the name "Republic". 

Well....I dumped Seaside/Republic today. They're history. Adios Seaside/Republic! I signed up with Parker (A Rated Angie's List) in Port Richey. AND.....Parker is $17.00 a year less. They pick up no later than 5:00AM. I'll take that any day.

The last time, I was not very happy with Seaside Sanitation because the garbage was blowing all over the place, they weren't very careful so I have to call the County and complain.
