First off, if I could give Luiz better then an A+ rating I would. He was extremely professional, did amazing work, and the overall experience was beyond my expectations. I really cant say enough great things about the way he handles himself and with how he dealt with us as a customer. I would highly recommend Luiz and Premium Pool to anyone who asks.

Writing this review late for a number of factors, but I wanted to stress that Luiz went the extra mile to ensure that our pool looked excellent. Case in point: Our pool was in really bad shape (plaster was pitted and cracking, waterline tiles were cracking and falling off). He came to do the inspection and worked with us on a remodeling plan that fit in our budget and he didn't try to sell us on stuff we didn't need or want (estimates from other contractors came in at 2-3 times what we ended up paying with Luiz). He did the demo himself and then he and his crew installed the plaster on a Saturday. When he installed the plaster liner, he mixed in crushed abalone which we had opted for on the steps, seats, and swim-out (beautiful!), but it turns out that his supplier sold him some non-commercial grade shell which started to leech stains into the plaster after a couple of weeks. We called Luiz (not knowing what was happening) and as soon as he saw the stains he knew what had happened and said he would completely re-plaster AT NO COST TO US!!! We didn't go with crushed abalone this time and instead opted for glass beads and glow-in-the-dark chips on the steps, seats, and swim-out. My wife and I think it looks even better now than the original plan! Luiz is a friendly, no-nonsense, straight-shooter.

They showed up on time every day and kept exactly to timelines. The new pool surface look great. Their price was a little more than the other quotes I got, but I think it was worth the difference for the personal attention. Highly recommended!

Luis and his crew resurfaced our pool several months ago, but due to illness in the family this is the first time I've had to write a review. We were concerned about cost (who isn't?) and were hoping to keep our tile on the pool. Luis said it was in good shape and just needed cleaning and new grout. He came by at the arranged time and completely prepped the pool and regrouted the tilework in just one day. It rained the day of the actual resurfacing but they erected a plastic cover over the whole pool (kept inflated by an industrial fan at one end) and finished the job. Bottom line, our pool likes great, Luis and his crew were on time every time, and we would definitely hire them again. By the way, Luis said he didn't like the way the pool light was installed and repacked it at no extra cost.

Our in-ground pool had a number of tiles missing, and the concrete behind those missing tiles was cracked and some concrete pieces were missing.In addition, the grout around the tiles needed to be renewed or replaced. Luiz did a great job at making these repairs, and since the pool was drained, he also acid washed the marcite and cleaned the tiles so they were like new. He did a great job.

Luiz from Premium Pool and Spa was an absolute pleasure to work with. He spent the most time with us during his estimate visit. He explained the previous owners had patched the old pool and that was the rough spots we felt. He also suggested we save money and keep the existing tile since we were happy with it and it was in good condition. Luiz suggested a color that would compliment the older brown tile we had. He explained the process of adding a railing and gave us an itemized estimate including regrouting the existing tile. Luiz listened to our opinions and concerns and made suggestions with absolutely no sales pressure. When he stated he did not want any money until after the pool was empty and he had done 50% of the work, we knew Luiz was honest and scheduled the work to be done. He showed as scheduled and right on time and explained the process as he went along. he worked very meticulously and had great attention to detail. He was just as excited as we were when the day to spray the new finish arrived. His crew was just and professional as he was. We love the new finish and plan on using Luiz on our property again when the time comes for some paving work. Luiz is a rare find amongst contractors. He takes great pride in his work and treats customers property as if it were his own. if you need a pool resurfaced you should give Luiz a call. You will not be disappointed.

His professional crew of artisans made our pool patio surface look like a finely crafted mosaic, while Luiz himself paid special attention to making the surface as non-slip as possible to accommodate my unsteady gait. Luiz is a true stand up business owner who does what he says and follows through even better. First I had him out for a quote on just fixing the cracks and resurfacing the pool. Once I met him and saw how professional he was, I decided to talk to him about possibly replacing pavers (though it is a very large area). He assured me his company could make the existing pavers look fantastic and that everything would look new upon completion. The quote came back and my end price matched it to the number. I am happy to report that this company does it all and does it above your expectations. You could see the pride put into each and every step of the process. Luiz the owner was there for every step of the process and verified with us each detail we wanted. He had a great crew of employees who work from the time they arrive to the time they leave, while leaving everything pristine each day. The cracks were previously repaired with the wrong size staples and Luiz made sure I saw exactly what he was using and explained the entire process. We texted him and called him with so many questions before and during the process and each and every time he responded and answered every question or concern we had. Even when he completed the job he assured us that if we have any questions, concerns, or anything to not hesitate to call and he will address immediately. This is one business owner who understands the value of the customer and treats them like the only one, impressive. The end product is truly amazing as the pool looks brand new with new vibrant colors, the pavers are like new, and the outdoor area is the show piece of our home. They had so many colors and options to choose from and they do not hesitate to show you all the combinations you want to see to personalize your pool. We are ecstatic with the results and the professionalism we were shown every step of the way.

Luis actually came almost a year ago to give us an estimate but we had to delay the job due to some more urgent repairs due to the hurricane in September. He honored the price as quoted. The job was completed on time and as promised. Liuz is meticulous and quotes an honest price. We were simply going to have the company who built the pool for us 16 years ago come back and resurface but the price was almost 1500 more. We will be having Luiz come back in a few months to clean, seal and repair our pool pavers. You can't go wrong with this company. We love our pool and use it alot. Its as good as it was when new now. The contractor does spectacular work! Very knowledgeable and professional. Knows his business thoroughly. I had a couple of broken pool tiles, and no extras left by the previous homeowner. I didn't want to have to retile the whole pool, so Luiz (the owner) came up with an ingenious solution that inexpensively repaired the broken tile, and you can't tell it was ever repaired. Luiz communicated with me regularly throughout weeklong project and kept the work area well organized and clean. I would very highly recommend this company; I have no negative comments at all.

Luiz and his crew were very professional and courteous. Luiz finished the job when he said he was going to and it looks amazing. My pool is 23 years old and it looked like it. It had brown spots on the bottom and the tile needed to be re-grouted. When I first had Luiz over for an estimate in my mind I was going to have to replace the tile and bullnose. Luiz said there was no reason to spend that much money on this project because the tile and bullnose are in good shape they just need some grout. He took out the old grout on every single tile and filled it with new. It looks like a brand new pool. I went with blue glass pieces in the marsite to match the tile but I also added glass pieces on the steps and seat that actually glow in the dark. I understand this is a new product and I was not really sure how it would look, but it looks just like stars at night. AMAZING! Thank you Luiz, Ana and the rest of your team. I am very happy with the finished product and will definitely tell everyone.

The project went well. Luiz is a responsible person with the best work ethic I have seen here in Florida in 20 years. He was honest about the project and went the extra mile to make it look the best it could at a reasonable price. I am happy with the results and would hire again.

I had several bids to do our pool. When I came on Angies List and read the reviews for Premium Pools and Spa and read the way people trusted Luiz I knew this was the company I was looking for. From the second he came to give me an estimate until he put the final touches on our new backyard oasis Luiz was amazing! He was always professional and courteous. I never once felt any pressure, respected his honesty, and always trusted his expertise. He was great at communicating each step of the amazing transformation of the pool. Luiz and his crew did an outstanding job on every part of the project as you can see in the pictures below. It went really well. Luiz was very professional, prompt and the work was done on schedule. I had some hand painted Mexican water line tiles and everybody else told me I needed to get them removed as they would get chipped while removing the top tiles and that would have cost quite a bit. Luiz was the opposite as he suggested I retain them as they were unique and quite expensive if I had to buy them now. I chose travertine to complement these and it looks absolutely lovely now. I was always given options on any extras and did not feel pressured to go with anything I did not want. Everything that needed to be done such as sealing of the travertine was explained to me so I knew exactly why it was being done and it made perfect sense. I would definitely recommend this company.

Luiz is fabulous. Cory is an excellent contractor as he does what he says he's going to do when he's going to do it. While the process is new to most people he is great about educating and sharing the steps that will follow. He also provides written instructions before he leaves. Each time I've texted him it's not been more than five minutes before I get a response. I would highly recommend.

It was time to redo my pool and like all big projects I turned to Angie to assist me in finding the right professional to take on the job. After reading Luiz's/ Premium Pool & Spa's reviews I added them to list to come out and provide me with an estimate. After Luiz came out I knew I found my guy. He was not a salesman, straight forward, and would be doing the job himself. My wife and I were under the impression that we had to get new tile if you resurface a pool. Well Luiz explained that is not the case and our tile is in great shape and all it needs is to be re-grouted. Luiz saved us thousands of dollars by being honest and straight forward. Out of the several companies who came out Luiz was the only person who recommended re-grouting and new tile isn't necessary because ours is in good shape! That right there explains the type of person you'll be dealing with. The whole project turned out great to include the tile! Luiz and his team were absolutely professional, respectful, and kept the entire work area clean. The project took about 5 days and Luiz kept my wife and I informed on what was going on the entire time. There were no surprises, everything went smoothly, and we are extremely happy with the outcome! If you're looking to get some pool work done, do yourself a favor and add Luiz to your list.
