Preferred Pavers

They were great! They showed up, did a wonderful job, and pricing was good.

Preferred Pavers did excellent job. Bruce runs a fine company. Gave me a good quote and only company that installed pavers with edge footer instead of side angled concrete. Edge footer gave me a cleaner looking edge. Install guys did great looking job and clean up. Next day pavers were sealed. Very happy with results.

I paid over $7000. and they put in cracked and chipped paver. It was sloped to drain into the pool. And not enough river rock was cut out. When I called about it, they tried to blame me for having bricks on the outside of the cage. They did come out and fix it. It still doesn't slope to the drain and they had to come out and cut out the river rock they didn't do the second time.I have a cracked coping brick cracked, I believe they cracked trying to repair the paver job. It's been three months and they still haven't been out to fix it. Now it's two tone, since they only resealed the part they redid. Save your money and time.

For the most part I am happy with the work. First I was told that the paver install could all be done in one day (which I did not believe), but I was not concerned with how long the job took. I think the crew did a great job with the driveway install, but that took over one and a half days. So when they got to the patio in the back, they rushed the work in order to get done. It looked ok, but there ware several places were the pavers would wobble when you stepped on them. I brought this up and was told that the sand would lock them into place. This was true, they do not wobble anymore. Because the patio was rushed you can also see more variation in how level the patio looks. Next came the finish work. I feel that they really scrimped on the sand. To me the sand should fill all the cracks to the very top of the pavers. Their sanding job was not even close. I don't know if this was intentional to save money on sand and labor, or laziness of the two guys doing the sanding. Even my neighbors, who I said nothing to, noticed all the cracks that were not filled with sand. This is my biggest complaint about the work. My next comment is that no one from the company even bothered to ask me if I was happy with the job!! I guess they were not interested in any feedback, either positive or negative!!

Bruce helped us pick a color and style that complemented our house well. The crew was skilled, professional, and courteous. They even offered multiple creative and appealing ideas. We are absolutely delighted with our new pavers and feel they are a major enhancement to our curb appeal. We highly recommend Bruce & Preferred Pavers!
