We had a terrible experience with Millian Aire. Prior to purchasing a vacation home, we had Millian Aire evaluate our lanai for a system to cool/dehumidify the space. Millian Aire initially recommended and quoted an 18,000 BTU Mitsubishi A/C for the lanai. Once our purchase was complete, we reached out to Millian Aire to get the ball rolling. Our salesman was no longer with the company and a new salesperson came out. He recommended a 12,000 BTU heat pump which we ultimately installed. The system kept the area at 78 degrees up until this summer. Beginning in June 2024, we could not get the lanai temperature lower than 80 degrees. We contacted Millian Aire. First, they said it was low on freon and gave it a charge. We still had the problem. Then they said the coil had a leak and they installed a new one. We still had the problem. On the last visit, they tried to reach Mitsubishi support for assistance. They gave up after hours of waiting on hold. The technician said he didn’t know what the problem was and the only thing he could think to do was replace the main board. Millian Aire was having a problem securing the part (told me Mitsubishi would need to take it off the assembly line). I continued to follow up, trying to get an idea of when we could expect the part. During our last conversation, the service manager was extremely rude and hung up on me! Totally unacceptable. I escalated with customer service, started looking for a new service company and filed a BBB complaint. I then heard from Michael Stein, the Director of Residential Operations at Millian Aire. I will say that through the first few emails with Mr. Stein, it appeared that they were trying to work with us to resolve the issue amicably. I was wrong. When it was time for them to perform, they refused to accept the extended labor warranty they sold us and every communication attempt since has been met with silence. Concurrently, I worked with a new service provider who contacted Mitsubishi for assistance with the issue. Mitsubishi went through the sizing of the system with the new service provider and determined that there is no issue with the board and the unit is undersized for the room. Millian Aire’s position is that system cooled the room for two years so it was sized correctly. I don’t agree; they have not been able to tell me why they went from an 18,000 BTU unit to the 12,000 BTU unit that was installed and I have asked for the original size calculation several times which they have failed to provide. My recommendation to anyone considering Millian Aire…find another company. They don’t stand behind their work and if the problem is of their own making, will not take ownership. They are like a fair-weather friend who disappears when you really need them the most.

Worst experience ever. I have owned 7 houses in PA and FL. In over 25 years have never experienced as horrible an AC company. This is a vacation property for us and we are only here for 2 more days before we are leaving. I scheduled the appointment because our AC wasn’t cooling sufficiently. I scheduled it online per the website which assigned me a timeslot of 8 AM to 12 PM on Tuesday the day before we were leaving. I called at 9:30 to confirm the appointment and then was told that it is not going to happen by 12 PM. When I asked why they scheduled an appointment from 8 to 12 PM. They just said they were busy. So the day before I’m leaving to go back home after missing a full day of my last day of vacation, I’m sitting amd waiting for somebody to show up. At 3:30 PM I called and was told where the next one right after the one that they’re working on right now. I called at 5:30 PM and got the after hours crew who was very apologetic and said they would do an urgent text request and have somebody get back to me. at 6 PM I called back and was told yet again that they’re very sorry for my inconvenience and have no idea why the dispatch group didn’t get back to me yet. And that they would yet again doing urgent request. As of this writing, I’m still waiting to hear back from anybody. Totally unacceptable. Waste of a day. Pretty sure the technician just doesn’t want to work any later on a hot day. This is inexcusable, especially since I have explained a number of times that we don’t have the luxury of rescheduling since we will not be back for months. And we have an AC unit that is not working and could cause ongoing damage. Don’t use this company! Complete waste of your time!

The technician arrived in less than an hour was very professional and assessed the problem. He had the part on his truck and the price was very reasonable. This company it’s definitely professional, reliable and affordable. I would certainly call them again for any future service.

The company installed new handler, compressor and all duct work less than 4 years ago- had an issue with electrical wiring that same evening and required a tech to come out at 10pm . 3 and a half years after install and nothing has been right with the product installed. When called for appointment was charged for service call ($89+) when our still NEW install stopped cooling completely, making noise and began smelling of electric burning, then quoted approx $900 dollars for labor when the new system had been nothing short of a disaster and less than a few years since they installed. Having to pay for services was not the problem, to be told the part is known to fault as done, not stand behind work and leave customers without ac in florida was is why we switched to another company.

They told us the blower motor was bad and replaced it for $700 and put a new one in. Didn't resolve it. In the meantime we found a place to test the original motor and it tested good. It ended up being the control board and they didn't take out the new motor. They had to come back out to take out the new motor and replace it with the original one. We went to speak with them and the service manager was really arrogant about the charges they have.

We contacted Milian-Aire in Hudson, FL, looking for service on our AC unit as it stopped working. They were quick to respond and sent out a technician who diagnosed it as being a bad blower motor and they ordered one. I paid the service fee of $79 with the remainder of $610 for the blower motor due after replacement. The motor was order and when they received it, they called to come back. The second technician came out with the new motor. He installed it and the AC didn’t start. He did some further troubleshooting and said it was the control board, not the blower motor. They would order a new control board and get back to us and he didn’t have a price. The next morning, we took the motor and the capacitor to a motor repair facility and they tested both and were in working condition. We then stopped in Millian-Aire on the way home and talked to a gentleman who said he was the service manager’s boss, sadly I don’t recall his name. We discussed with him our situation and wanted to know the price of the board and also had a discussion that we felt the charge for the motor was excessive. After the discussion about they have lots of experience and that is why they charge $280 for a $9 capacitor. He said to us, the control board is $179 and you’ve already paid $79 which will be deducted. So, we agreed to the service call to replace the board and to remove the new motor they installed and put the original motor back in place. That afternoon we received a call the board was in and that they would be out on 6/11 to install it. When the technician arrived, he wasn’t aware he was to remove the new motor and replace it with the original one. We didn’t ask if he had a price as we were told by the person in their facility the price. So, the technician called to further clarify instructions and came back in the home to say, yes, he was to remove the new motor, replace it with the original and replace the board. Which he did. After he completed that, he then said the total was $360 for the service today and that has deducted the $79 from the cost of the service. That is way different than the price we were told from the service manager’s boss. Very different. We’ve since called to talk to the service manager directly to discuss the situation and we’ve not had a return call. The person we spoke at their facility that represented themselves as the service manager's boss needs to stand by what he said as the price. Period

Eric was awesome and attentive to my concerns, unlike my previous service provider. He provided me a lot of advice and assisted me in ensuring my systems were registered for the extended warranty to save me money. Yes, he was trying to save me money, unlike my previous service provider whom appeared to only want my money. I would definitely recommend Eric and Millian-Air Enterprise. I’m so glad I switched service provider companies.

Technician Ryan was terrific He did a complete and thorough checking and cleaning of the AC, Air Handler, and Air Cleaner. Parts were installed that were needed. The cost was discounted. We could not have asked for a more satisfactory job.

EXPENSIVE - There was some water backing up into the drain pan, the service technician arrived looked at the drain pan and then connected a vacuum to the end of the drain line for 5 minutes. He added some chemicals to the drain line at the unit and then he was gone - Total time at my house was less than 15 minutes and I was charged $218 - Positives were the service technician was friendly and they did same day service, but I cannot recommend them due to what they charge for services.

Could not be happier with my experience with Millian-Aire. We had suffered an AC failure on a Sunday. I called Millian-Aire and with a few short hours Cameron was on site to diagnose our failure, made the repair and had us back up and running in a short time. Great job! It was also at this time I decided it was time to replace the entire unit. Cameron had put in a note to contact us for an estimate and the next day we received a call from Chris. Chris was on site the following day and went over all available options. A very good experience as he was very professional, polite, and knows his product very well. I was very impressed with his presentation. We placed our order for a new unit that was installed yesterday by Dean & Mike. These guys were also such a pleasure to work with. Our unit was installed promptly and professionally. These two men were very easy to communicate with, very polite, and worked very quickly to get our install done correctly. I must say I enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish with the wonderful professionals from Millian-Aire. Many thanks to them all. Our unit is performing wonderfully and Millian-Aire is our go to company forever!

I knew what machine I wanted, I was upgrading it from a 4 ton to a 5 ton and that requires larger ducting. So it was down to who to trust to install it. I contacted Millian Aire and Chris came out (this was my 3rd quote) I was impressed when he actually did the math for the ducting and showed me what needed to be made larger. He matched a quote I had and honored the Angies List member discount I signed up. Chris had a 3 man crew out the following week. Dean, Chris and Mike were in my attic working hard most of the day. This was the end of June, so it was very hot and they did a great job, very clean install. I purchased a Trane 18 SEER variable speed 5 Ton with the Clean Effects filter system, 10-year parts and labor warranty. It comes with a two-year service plan. I can’t wait to see the power bill. The difference in indoor humidity is amazing. Jason came out and tuned everything up and programmed the ComfortLink Stat. The Millian Aire office did all the paperwork for the warranties and the power company rebate (that I already received). I will review these guys on the service going forward. I feel I bought the best machine and had the best people put it in.

A lot of people don't realize that they must upgrade their existing duct work when they upgrade the size of their unit. You must watch out for companies that don't look at your existing ductwork and do a heat load calculation on your home. It seems like you did plenty of research before Chris came out to you, so you already knew that, but hopefully this review can help other customers in the future. We have been unsuccessful in having a reliable A/C company service our unit for many years.. Either the communication was poor, or the work done was not very thorough. We decided to have Millian-Aire come to our home, based on reviewing Angie's List responses. We were not disappointed at all! Ashley at the office was very helpful and Jeff (who came to our home) was very thorough. We initially asked to have a one-time inspection and after, signed up for the yearly contract offered by Millian-Aire. Jeff found a faulty part that was installed by the previous company. Jeff spent more time than others to ensure a complete job!

Brett has serviced our heating and AC unit since we moved into our home 2 years ago. The previous owners left a note within the paperwork they left behind that stated, "Ask for Brett, he is really thorough in his inspection and servicing of the unit." We were thankful to receive this information, as we have really enjoyed working with Brett, and he does a fantastic job!

good. Brett was very thorough. He took pictures of mold buildup in the air handler. We authorized him to sanitize the air handler, which he did. He also installed new filters, as they are in places that are hard to reach.

It went ok. However, I would not use these people again because they were chummy with the contractor--were working for him and not for me. I was there, but insignificant under the circumstances, even though the money came out of our pocket. Since I believe our contractor to be the biggest slime ball who ever lived, I had no desire to have a relationship with any of the subs unless I could see that they were doing a really good job despite the circumstances of our contractor making most of their lives ****. This was in 2007. Millionaire installed a Trane central AC. In exactly 10 years, the coils failed and we had someone else install a new one last week. As I understand it, the failure of the coils at 10 years is now standard in all AC units. We kept the old AC unit to work for the old part of the house. It's still working fine and I don't even know how old it is. In my personal experience, most AC repair men are just sales people whose job it is to sell you a new unit or contract to come out and look at your unit every year. You have to be careful. We finally went with someone who could be personally referred to us. I do not recall what we paid for the work from Millionaire. They had to do some duct work too, some of which had to be re-done later.
Description of Work: These people were hired by the contractor who was putting 2 additions on our house. They installed a new AC for the new additions.

We're sorry that you had such a bad experience with your contractor. We stand by the work we did 10 years ago. The coils don't have a set fail time, but as they get older, the chances of something going wrong does increase, especially if the unit is not serviced yearly by a licensed AC contractor. We would have loved to come out and service and/or maintain the system for you after we installed it in 2007, but we completely understand you going with another company that was referred to you personally to handle that. Again, we are sorry that you had such a bad experience with your contractor, and that caused you to look unfavorably upon us.

Technician Cameron arrived about an hour later and immediately determined that the problem was a clogged drain line, which surprised me since the prior contractor had serviced the system about two weeks earlier. Cleaning the drain line seemed to me to be basic to any routine service call. In any case Cameron cleared the line and the system has been functioning properly ever since. He cleaned his vacuum before using it and after to show me how much ( a lot) algae he removed. I choose to enroll in Millian-Aire's annual plan so the charge for the June visit actually covered two visits, including this emergency servicing.
Description of Work: One June 18, Fathers Day, my residential ac stopped working. I called the contractor who had installed the system a few years ago and who had been servicing it. He said he could not do anything about repairing the system until the following Tuesday. I found Millian-Aire and called.
