Mike arrived on time and went right to work. Repaired/adjusted four sagging cabinet doors in our MBR and repaired a wear mark to one of our kitchen cabinets. Excellent results and reasonable price. I have no problem recommending him.

Mike refinished a 48" round coffee table that my dad made with a friend 60 years ago. He helped me select a stain that would allow the grain to show then when agreed upon, he took the table, stripped it, stained it and put a coating of something on it that I can't remember. I got the table back today and it was a very good turnaround, especially for having everything done by hand. WOW is all I can say. This table is absolutely spectacular. I absolutely love it. It's always been a showpiece but he brought it back to it's original glory. Beautiful work!!! I highly recommend Mike. I couldn't be happier.

Mike did a beautiful job on the bookcase. I could not be more pleased with the quality of the work he did. He was very concerned with determining exactly what I wanted with the finish, bringing out samples for me to see. I had chosen a color from a picture and he matched it perfectly.

Mike was funny, accurate, and honest about the price and condition of the furniture (wobbly desk). If he works this quickly and accurately for a desk, I can only imagine he is a wiz with big projects. I highly recommend him!

We have had what we feel is a unique dining table for close to 25 years and did not want to replace it. The table top was a combination tile and wood. The table and chairs needed refinishing and MG Menard Wood finishing did a great job with the refinishing and completed the work in the time promised. We would highly recommend MG Menard.

Movers mishandled one of my vintage mid-century dining chairs resulting in loosened joins and a split in one leg. David did an excellent repair of the split and reinforced all joins. The repair was invisible, very well done.

Great. David needed to do a little more than originally thought. He also added some extra bracing to sturdy it. Table looks and feels great.

David took both chairs, the detached parts, plus another loose chair and in 2 days repaired all of them. When he returned the chairs to me, he brought his tool kit & checked the remaining chairs for tightening. The repairs are so good you cannot see where the repairs were made, even on the leg that split.

Dave is awesome! He works magic on furniture. He recently repaired a bookcase for me. Specifically the door on a bookcase. It had a dent in it from a recent move. Dave filled the damage, smoothed it out and colored it to perfectly match the the rest of the bookcase. It looks like new! I can't say enough about how dependable and reliable Dave is. He got the repair done quickly, wasn't expensive at all and you can tell he takes great pride in his work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others and I would definitely use him again, if necessary. Thanks, Dave!

Excellent. David understood exactly what I wanted. The trunk is 100 years old and pretty beat up. I did not want it to be like new. Just wanted it to look clean, less scratched up, and get the hardware shined up. It came out absolutely beautiful, not overdone. David was very professional. Kept in touch and got the job done ahead of time. David has a passion for what he does and it shows in his workmanship.

Very satisfied with the work, splits were repaired perfectly. All four chairs were reinforced so that the splits won't happen again and various scratches and dings were. Service was very quick with the chairs delivered to him on Friday and ready for pickup Monday morning. Highly recommend and would use for any future repairs.

We have a solid oak dining room set that’s about 20 years old. The table and chairs are quite heavy, but after all those years the chairs became a little wobbly. I don’t have the skills to properly repair them, so we searched on Angie’s List for someone who does. We were very pleased with the work David performed and it was just a few days before we had the chairs back - good as new. We would recommend him to friends and family. If we have a similar need in the future, Dakota Furniture Repair will be the first one we call.

Dave fixed them both up. One was so broken, it had even had been chewed on by my dog I gave it to him to “try”and fix, with doubts that it was even fixable. Picked it up today and couldn’t even tell where it had been broken. Amazing, that what I thought was irreparable is now as good as new.

David did such a great job refinishing and upholstering my rocking chair that it looks completely new! His professionalism and speed in which he completed the work sure impressed me! Great job David and thank you!

The work is excellent. The two armchairs are now very secure and should last another 30 years. They will also be safe to sit in. The dining chair is tight and secure also. I am very pleased that my dining room chairs are now sturdy and in good shape for lots of entertaining. The process took only 4 days complete with pick up and delivery. I doubt that there are many craftsmen who do this type of detailed repair. I would highly recommend Dakota Furniture Repair.
